- Hello all! My Yamaha R1 Scratch Build needs a fork spring compressor, so instead of buying one, I had a look at few versions for reference and designed my own.

I built exactly the same fork spring compression tool a few years ago for Indian MC forks and works great for Harley and Honda . Super handy tool! I added a rubber on the bottom for the tang sticking up and at the top machined an adapter to allow a socket to remove the shock retaining nut. This works great on the HD Dyna fork tubes too.
