    The bike featured in this video is my Santa Cruz Chameleon 8. I’m on a mission to build it into the ultimate do-it-all quiver killer mountain bike! This is the third video in a playlist all about the build. Click here to see the first two videos in the playlist! - ruclips.net/p/PLgVIxm9uv4LSmkpZbaP_2TF-UvV0_-c5a&si=MCWAkkHVmU0eFFbv

    Seems like a lot of travel for that bike! Really good job on your tutorial. Rock shocks forks are a pretty good to work on I think.

      @@theshedMTB thank you! Yes, working on the fork was more straightforward and easier than I anticipated! It is a fair bit of travel! I was a little worried about going 160 but the bike feels so much better than it did at 140 now that the geo is balanced. It has the poppiness that it had when it was a mullet. I’m going to make another video diving into it more but I’m very stoked it on! Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching! 🤙

      @ I forgot it was a mullet extra travel just making up for that

      @NickandKatieMTB I've had the new air shaft for my Lyrik for months, might finally get around to it soon! This will be helpful.

    Very cool video. So if I wanna increase the travel of my Pike from 130mm to 140mm, I need a longer air spring of the right model #, that’s it? All other parts can be reused?

    • @NickandKatieMTB
      @NickandKatieMTB  Месяц назад +1

      @@GokkunGuru thank you! Yes, that is correct! You only need to buy the air spring and of course replace the lube/fluids. I would suggest buying new wiper seals if your fork hasn’t had its 50 hour service recently. But it’s not necessary. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching!

      By the way I loved the older video of how you stripped the anodizing on your OneUp pedals to give it that chrome polished look. Super unique. OneUp should make a chrome version just like Title MTB’s Connect pedals.

      @ that’s awesome! Happy to help!
      Thank you! I love my OneUp pedals. They still look great to this day too! Silver/chrome is the best accent color!
