I supported them against Manly in the world final in 87 when I was also there (with 37000 others I think )but after that, got so fed up with their dominance that I wouldn’t have supported them against a team from Mars! I did love matches at Central Park even though the view wasn’t always the best.
No one ever said the English sides couldn't attack because they could do that with the best of them. Back in 1986 though they still couldn't defend and that was their problem.
