I have always supported the Tigers. But in 94 I asked for the Canberra Milk jersey for my birthday with the number 1 on the back. Mullins was amazing that year!
Its always good hearing the other sides POV on things after hearing nothing but the Aussie commentators for so long. Besides, I've always been a fan of Ray French's commentary :)

Sironen came in for some real heavy treatment from the Wigan forwards in this game. He was a great player and they had clearly been instructed to take him out. In those days it was part and parcel of the game and with Skerrett and McDermott on the field Wigan had two of the best to do it. Really strange decision to move Henry Paul to centre. Connolly was the best defensive centre of that era whilst Henry Pauls best position was full back in his early years. I remember being disappointed after the game as Wigan had not played anywhere near their potential.
Interestingly neither Skerrett or McDermott had the balls to come to Australia and have a crack in the NRL like proper tough forwards the like of Crooks, Ward, O’Reilly etc. Both their skill levels would have seen them at Reserve Grade level in Australia, or at best, coming off the bench for the last 5mins of the game in 1st Grade.
Rip inga! Thanks for being a shining light of a human. You lead the way on the pitch and as a human with your values. Well done.
before Jonah Lomu there was Va'aiga Tuigamala . Inga was a wrecking ball for the All Blacks Auckland and Ponsonby and then Wigan
I was right in front of that tuigamala try as a 10 year old
At least Inga scored a mean as try getting past Sailor, Clyde and Mullens. Three of the best to wear the green and gold.....
Ozzies had won game already and relaxed by then focused on the next test

very possibly the best aussie lineup ive seen .

Renouf had some speed and could hit the gap perfectly
D Leigh especially when Shaun Edwards outright refuses to tackle the man, if he made an attempt it might have been a different story on Renoufs try.

Haha Sirro got some of his own back this game.. he was also taking cheap shots himself
Skerret , what a dirty player he is with his cowardly cheap shots- the coach is equally pathetic for allowing him to play
What a great crowd and well before phones
