One other thing that a Palau residence ID might be useful for is obtaining an account with a money-transfer service.... especially one that normally doesn't accept US residents. Similarly, one might be able to get a crypto debit card with a company that doesn’t accept US residents (of course, one would then have to spend one's money outside the US)

At any moment, the US government could go to Palau and demand a list of Palau residents that are actually US citizens; the US government could then go to the exchanges and demand a list of all the Palau residents. Congress recently amended section 6050i of the tax code, so that transactions of $10,000 or more have to be reported within 15 days.

From what I understand, based on my numerous exploratory discussions with them, it doesn't matter what country your ID is from, but instead that you prove you have a residency in the country that they are legally allowed to operate. So if you had a vacation property in El Salvador and could prove its your other residency, then they'd allow you to trade.

You need to pay an additional annual fee for a mailing address, as well as maintain at least $35USD in a "mail forwarding" account. These countries are taking advantage of charging for digital citizenship. Just like Wyoming does for incorporation in the U.S. Wyoming has some of the best secrecy laws pertaining to businesses. Yup, it looks like a license should work: docs.rns.id/support/faqs Applicants can use official government documents like ID-card, passports, driving licenses, and Resident permits. ID must be valid for at least one month after the present date.

Need to on ramp a different way I'd say. Use a us exchange to onramp then send to wallet then send over to exchange you want to use. There are other more private ways to do this but that's a whole different task
One thing that MIGHT work... for a US citizen... would be to get a bank account outside of the US. It is POSSIBLE to do that much; once in possession of the bank account, MAYBE it could be linked to the crypto account that was created with the Palau ID. (I haven't tried this, however).

I was heard you have to access through your vpn every time your own the site. And not to forget or they will flag you.
Need to use VPN for ByBit because they block logins from USA IP Addresses.

I did, Binance rejected the application pretty quickly. It could have been through automation since it was clearly not a passport.

Kucoin was almost instant. I'm not sure if Kucoin's IP restricted in the US, but I think you already know the way around that.

My US Passport expired and will process the renewal as of this coming Monday here in the US (EST) can you use say just a drivers license for now or even process the Palau application while waiting on your passport to renew? Apparently Estonia was the 1st country but later the gov cracked down on them. My educated guess is: Guam, Cayman islands, Hawaii and maybe Phillipines will eventually follow.

Need to on ramp a different way I'd say. Use a us exchange to onramp then send to wallet then send over to exchange you want to use. There are other more private ways to do this but that's a whole different task
One thing that MIGHT work... for a US citizen... would be to get a bank account outside of the US. It is POSSIBLE to do that much; once in possession of the bank account, MAYBE it could be linked to the crypto account that was created with the Palau ID. (I haven't tried this, however).
