What can I buy for £100 at a copiapoa cactus auction?

- Copiapoa - the hipster cactus collector's favourite genus (along with lophophora and ariocarpus). But how does a relatively new collector acquire mature specimens? One of the best ways is to attend auctions of cactus collections.
I recently visited one where the majority of the lots were copiapoa species. But with a budget of just £100, could I actually come away with anything at all?

Did you forget to tell us what you paid? You made money title and talk about budget but no price on the ones you got?
Under £100 was the general theme and I took that in cash so I couldn't go over budget. Happy to share full costings though:
C. cinerea: £55
C. cinerea x krainziana hybrid: £10
C. emerophila: £20
Breakfast and lunch: £15 😄

@@andersnrregren9087 the sales table is the real star of these auctions. Mostly smaller plants that might get overlooked by the big money bidders, and usually priced modestly. I made sure I was one of the first in line!
