Man, I'd love a top like that! I think you did better not getting the black one. Black blends in too much with other vehicles and backgrounds. Yellow & Red are the best colors on Gen 1s and this one looks sweet.

A very linear motor in that max torque comes at 2200 rpms as I was told.

The hard top is called a Lemke 3 piece top. They are sought after in the viper world and would sell quick.

Congrats man, welcome to the club. Yours is an early 1993, they're called "antenna cars" because it has an actual antenna sticking out of the rear by the trunk. Not too many '93s had antennas, they were a carry-over from 1992.

That 3 piece hard top roof is an aftermarket roof made by a company called Lemke. They stopped making them 10+ years ago and they are in very big demand among gen 1 viper owners. You could probably get 2-3 grand for it at least if you were to advertise it on viper forums.

Hey bud, I have no idea, but I have heard that same thing. I actually traded off my Viper for my ‘32 Roadster. I really enjoyed it while I had it, but got to where I never really drove it and was too scared someone would hit it around here. I got rear-ended in my wife’s Charger the other day.

Looks like there is a piece missing that fits between the the tops of the doors and the rear window. Must have been removed to fit the hard top. I have a 93 antenna car too. They are fantastic! Did you get the windows with it as well?
Yea, the top bar pad was removed to fit the hard top. I need to find another one. I did get the fabric side curtains and another set of real windows for it.

How tall are you? I'm 6'5" and curious how well you fit.
I’m 6’4” and 305 lbs. I didn’t fit very well at all when I got it. After lowering the seat and getting it moved back pretty far, I fit pretty good. Not 100% perfect, but it well worth it.
Congrats on a very nice looking car! Dont see many antenna cars. I had same thinking, I was looking at newer used cars like mustangs, challengers, and c6 vettes. Then i started seeing that in my price, i could get a viper. After probably a year of waiting, eventually, my poster car, a blue/white gts with clean title popped up in my price range. Even after 2 years, i look at it with a big ass grin and cant believe i own it.

They make a seat lowering kit ( 2 inch drop). That should help you fit better!

This is the Lemke hardtop. They have been discontinued, but they are usually around $5000-$6000 is you can find one with the glass windows.

Look into a seat lowering kit it will give you something like two extra inches of headroom I believe Jon B at Viper PartsRack has them for sale ...look into joining some of the Viper forums too lots of good guys with a ton of knowledge.
