Roblox | Flood Escape 2 - Deserted District [CM PERMANENT]

When a neglected cityscape becomes sandswept.
This is basically Desolate Domain but the city is in a desert instead of being radioactive (and yes, Desolate Domain came first). They even have the same initial. Coincidence? I will say I like it better than Desolate Domain since the map combines the abandoned city theme with something that I feel is more interesting. Map looks good, though I feel like it's missing something. I don't know what. I also thought the old lighting was better.
The gameplay is also solid, but I got confused at a couple parts the first time I played the map. There are some stuff that look like you're supposed to go on, but you actually aren't allowed to. Alongside this, the decoration on the only wraparound on this map has collision, making it more difficult than it should. If I get too close to it, I just bump my head and fall.
Now let's talk about the OST... Yes, the one that goes "WOP WOP WOP." Like Desolate Domain, I feel like it fits but also doesn't fit, but in a way I can explain this time. The funkiness fits the city theme (even though it would fit more for an active city rather than a desolate one), but it's missing that desert feel. I know uniqueness is key to making good music, but I feel like mixing desert-ish-sounding instruments with the funkiness would also be a unique mix if executed. As it stands, it's a soundtrack that does not sit well with me.
