I always find it so funny when people say they don’t really use foundation (ie Madison using a skin tint here) and then slathering their face in concealer

Foundation is very different from concealer concealer is way more lightweight and not as much coverage

Concealer etc wand is meant to touch your face so the product is formulated accordingly, also the shelf life of makeup is shorter because of unavoidable bacteria build up. There are lot of ingredients in serums, serum foundations etc that go bad faster than they should if the bacteria from your skin sits in the product.
Hope this made sense I'm working against language barrier 🤭
And even with a clean face, unless your using like a strong antibiotic wash your face will still have a natural microbiome that can colonise things that touch your face. So your natural microbiome is balanced for different types of bacteria, but when it colonises other materials there isn't anything to regulate the bacteria ratios and one bacteria type can outcompete the others become harmful.

I love how we all are moving toward the cream products so quick
I think as a teen and early twenties u can get away with matte base products, and think matte equals flawless. But I've found for myself and lots of other people, as soon as you're 25+ you realise glowy and cream products look so much more youthful. Matte bases as we get a little older just seem to accentuate lines you didn't even know u had!

The preservatives in concealers are tested as if someone was directly placing the wand on their face, they're not tested in the same way for droppers so any oils or product from your face will contaminate your product :)x
But there's foundations that have dopher applicators too? Most people put makeup on completely clean skin, I can't see it ever being quantities that would ever 'contaminate' or alter the product. If you had a breakout or cold sore then obviously there's a reason not to then. We use lipsticks and chapsticks for ALONG time, liquid eyeliners, mascaras etc, that are constantly touching our faces. I definitely think there's no need to be worried when they're your own products used for your own face. :-)
@@Bxxxxxx Agree also people fail to realise most people hold the dropper like 3 inches away from their face so the product falls onto their face an are not touching the dropper on their face.

So using formulations not built to resist bacteria build up and touching them to your face repeatedly is basically like eating some bad food)
@@Bxxxxxx for me it’s mainly that it’s sooo easy to overuse products when they put it straight on the face, Instagram has really convinced people that they’re incapable of putting foundation straight on a sponge or a brush and serums in their hands 🤧

Omg if you do a Glossier order... Cloud Paints and Lash Slick are EVERYTHING I literally use lash slick 90% of the time, and their cloud paints are so so perfect for natural flushed blushy looks that can really build up!

If you're gonna try Glossier you should really get the skin tint, the concealer, the Wowder and the Lash slick mascara! And be ready for barley any coverage and embrace it! You have beautiful skin and Glossier just makes it glow even more. I have dark circles under my eyes and the concealer sort of cover them up but they still show and it just feels natural.

I feel this makeup routine is really “every day” friendly as well as the Gigi Hadid’s one. I don’t follow Madison but I like her features because she reminds me of my grandma’s old photos when she was younger. You did a pretty good job with this look and it definitely suits you very well! You look like you have baby skin 😻💗
