Cars3fan this comment is intersesting because 3yrs ago it was rare..Now it is completly commonplace to see foreign power on all lines sometimes not even a home rail power unit.
See Union Pacfic heading up NS trains often and now NS trains heading up storming southwest deserts in California and Nevada
