Because IPS demands physical stress too.
Which i guess 12-14 hour sitting at one place under a fan or ac and studying aspirants cant handle
in ias there is lot of mental stress.. they are responsible for every government policies..

@@destinations4u196 u r taking my words wrongly.. i didn't say they are not prone to stress.. u ask any other ips or irs officers.. compared to ips and irs ias have more mental stress.. bcoz any mistake from politicians, they always blame ias officers only.. whatever happens in governance, they are the sole responsible.. remember great power comes with great responsibility..
These people doesn't want to serve the people they want to serve their pockets that is the real reason,

Out of 10 , 5 IPS ki hey...
20 cnd. Diye exam 10 selected.. 5 IPS mey se 3 chhod k fir se IAS ki tayar kar liye aur chal gaye NXT sec. Mey..
Last sec. Jo banda serious tha only to serve bcoz IPS mey adhikar milta hey sayad IAS se kafi jyada milta hey in a way.. usko Nehi Mila bcoz jo bande selected the unko salary chahiye thi aur power aur kuchh ko serve karna tha , they left...
Jo on way tha kuchh marks k wajah se pichhe reh gaya,,, jise serve karna hey only woh jyada Kabil hey ya jo sirf power ya salary k liye job chahta hey woh...
Bro. The reason I wrote my qual. Not to showoff the reason he said " bark " jo banda exam diya usko pata hey jo uske haq k jagah kisi aur ko aur usko uski kadar v Nehi..
Edu. Se Gyan ata hey.. lekin kuchh agyani ese v hey educated.. isko hame differentiate karna padega...
Don't see UPSC as a sallary job .. it is to serve not for sallary...
