    I'm 6' 3"/220 lbs and the thigh extension and just the way I can get so comfortable was the main selling point for my '21 Legacy Touring XT. I have never sat in a more comfortable seat before. Plus my right knee or shin doesn't touch the center console which is rare for me. I had a "dent" in my shin from my last car after ten years!

    Super review that was well explained and your attention to the detail was appreciated. I am picking up this exact car tomorrow. I am trading in my 21 premium and both models give you much for your money. The non turbo engine is quick enough and there is no issue merging. It will get up and go no problem. My only criticism is the rough auto/stop system. Fortunately, it is easy to turn off. The Subaru is awesome in the snow and I never bother with snow tires. Bottom line - it is a super comfortable car and the ride is amazing. I was a bit nervous about the CVT but Subaru did an amazing job on refining this transmission. There is no lag and the CVT is not at all noticeable. Thank you for your excellent review. Good luck on getting that BMW someday.

      I'm glad you liked the review! Congrats on your new car! What made you trade in the Premium for the Limited? And thank you! I hope I can get that BMW within the next few years. I guess time will tell if I actually get it or not

      @@703Speed My 21 was parked in a supermarket lot. An elderly woman pulled in and did not stop on January 6. I could not even get an estimate appt. until March and up,to 5 months to repair and get parts. Crazy….so I ordered a 23 Legacy built to my specs and it arrived in 11 weeks. I will keep checking out your reviews. Keep up the great work. I can see you in that Beamer in no time

    Owner of a 2018 Forester 6MT base model. 32mpg at the pump in the summer, never below 25mpg during the Ohio (cold and snowy) winters. Pulled a 1k pound teardrop trailer, with two adults, 2 kids, and a black lab, with gear, no problem. Window vision rivaled only by a greenhouse, no giant touchscreen infotainment, not turboed, easy oil changes, single- or two-level engine bay (unlike Jeeps or Mini Cooper engine bays, you can FIND and REPLACE everything). 67k miles, only real repair so far is a rear right wheel bearing (at 47k miles....seemed...early...)

    • @703Speed
      @703Speed  Год назад

      47k does seem a bit early. But for that to be the only repair in almost 70k miles - not too shabby

    Excellent review! Have you had the opportunity to test drive the Legacy Sport with the 2.4L Turbo engine? The one thing that concerns me with Subaru is how annoying will the Driver Distraction Mitigation System be. I also wish you could permanently disable the auto start/stop.

    How does is the handling on the Legacy compared to the WRX? I'm in the market for this or the 2022 WRX?

    • @703Speed
      @703Speed  Год назад +1

      WRX definitely handles better, but the Legacy sport is actually pretty good. Depends what you’re looking for.. Legacy is more refined - quieter on the interior, more space. WRX is more fun - manual option, better handling, sportier looks.. What’re you looking for in a vehicle?
