This was the favorite song of my cousin who passed in a car accident. I cry everytime I hear it and cried again hearing Jon play it. Not just because of the memory of my cousin Sabrina but because it's also a very beautiful song.

No pain, no physical or mental restrictions, no fear, no sadness. Truly life without inhibitions is found within this country they're in. You may not be able to talk to them or hear their voice; but if anyone you love should pass never say that you "loved" them. Say that you love them, because know that they still love you. And you'll see them again soon.

The music to this song was composed by the great Phillip Paul Bliss who named the tune Ville du Havre after a ship which sank in the early 1870's. The composer of the lyrics, Horacio Gates Spafford, who was a business man rather than a poet, was given these lyrics by God when he stood over the place where the ship went down into the ocean. On that ill-fated ship he lost his four young daughters and nearly lost his wife. So, as you see, this song was born out of tragedy.
