Over here in the states this model was called the Kimi. I have a copy of the 1993 Emmaljunga brochure which features this model in both the single and double version. I'm a pram collector myself and had the exact model of this Emmaljunga in my collection, except being a single instead of double. I sold it to a lady friend who works as a nanny. She loves pram style strollers and gets to use different ones in her work. I still have about 10 Emmaljungas in my pram and stroller collection. The earliest is a 1989 Ringo Sport Combi in mint green leatherette and newest is a 2006 Carmen in white leatherette, purchased brand new from a UK retailer back then. They are very well made prams that can last through many years of use with just some common sense care. Nice to see this Emma being given a new lease on life with your restoration. :)
🤩wow thank you for telling me! I have since bought a single version of an Emmaljunga like this one and it has an extra seat for a kid on top. I might make a video where I share that one as I've never seen any thing like it before... I can see how you come to collect them. there are highly addictive😜
@@baramamma I would enjoy seeing the video about your latest Emmaljunga. Sounds like it might be what was called the Husky model, which did have the option of a second seat mounted as you described. The model may have been known by a different name in Sweden. I restored a Husky several years ago and sold it to a mom I knew. It started with just a frame that was in very good condition. Gradually, I found upholstery, a hood, and other matching accessories. It was a fun project putting the Emmaljunga back together again. Here's some photos of my 1989 Ringo model and catalog pages from the 1989 and 1993 brochures: www.flickr.com/photos/toys-prams/albums/72157626690770755/with/52230786667/
This is really so well made, and the end result is beautiful! I love your thoughts about teaching your kids gratitude and the value of long-lasting products rather than just buying new. (And also, how cute are those kids!?) Good job!
I'm impressed by the quality of the restoration and the production of this video. Well done! It's inspiring me to consider making videos on my own projects
On this Stroller the seat is fixed forward and not possible to rotate. But I have an other Emmaljunga single pram that looks very similar that you can. 🌞

Yes because valuing the age of a 30 year old item is more important than your child's safety got it.

Beautiful. Do you know how to remove the toddler seat so you can have it face the other way?
