For some reason, it kinda has the potential to be a guilty pleasure, in my opinion. I obviously haven't played it but it could just be one of those games where I can just laugh about how bad it is. Maybe even going over to a friends house and try to do a playthrough together and laugh at, "Wait!!! She's a human being". I dunno...

This game has the same subs on japanese and pal, so im sure some Japanese dev just put those as example, and then some Japanese executive just decided on keep them.
I actually played the arcade version when it first came out.... I still have flashbacks to that tragic part of my life. Oh the mental scars!
Same here, first time i played that shit i didn't understand what the fuck was happening, all i did was shooting things and running around at the speed of sound because of the timer, then nemesis appear and i shat myself.
I liked how the ID card for character select, says ID Nunmber. On both Claire and Steve xD

Actually I got to play the arcade version back in middle school, it's basically the same with the PS2 port sans the extra contents. Good times.
We had a Survivor 2 machine at my town's bowling alley for a short time. Imagine a large uzi awkwardly bolted onto a stick that can twist side to side and slide back and forth. That shit sucked in it's intended form as well.
I love Survivor 2, but it's only for a certain kind of person. The awkward controls would make much more sense on the dreamcast.

It was only released in Japan & Europe, and it sold like ass in both regions. So that's probably why.

I thought the same seeing it on youtube, but it's REAAAAAALLLY not a good game. It's hard to explain exactly what it is, but I legitimately felt miserable while playing it after the first 10 minutes or so.

No shitty key collecting in dungeon mode? and what about the missions where you have to search for colored diamonds? those are so much worst than looking for the key
Not gonna lie, I only played the first two missions of Dungeon Mode. Paired with the two runs of the main game all in one sitting, I clocked about 3 hours into this and started feeling physically ill because bad game. I debated giving it another shot the next day just to be sure , but considering no one should ever play this anyway, I left it there.
well ihope at least you give the other survivor games a chance they are at the worst so bad it's good kind of games except the ps1 game
I think the PS1 one is kind of enjoyable in a way, and I like Dead Aim. I have Dino Stalker as well, but I haven't played it yet. Seems about the same level of quality as this one though haha
@@thorhighheels I recently played survivor 2 again for like my 30th time and the controls are still shit *everytime* If it was actually made into a proper game, and wasn't based around CV either. This would be good. But it's such trash.

What is the best way/version to play RE Code Veronica? I've a PS2 and a PC.
I have the following options:
1. Original Dreamcast emulation
2. GameCube Emulation
3. PS2
There's an HD version on PSN, and I think a boxed version paired with RE4. If that's no option at all, I think PS2? I'd say DC emulation, but I think there's some issue with disc switching. D2 had the same when I reviewed that, and I had to use 2 different version of NullDC just to swap discs.

I've never seen anyone with Mirror's Edge in their top 20. Let alone Deadly Premonition, Tekken 2 and Killer 7. It's quite the unique list imo.

I see you listed bully on your top 20. While i enjoyed at the time, watching northernlion's playthrough shown its age. Only introducing some neat ideas, one of them being "a friendlier version of GTA". And viewing it at GTA game, it really falls short. While keeping the worst aspects of rockstar, their humor.
No Shenmue on the list. DISAPOINTED, unsubbed, dieded.
I only played a little bit of Shenmue 1 on an emulator ages a go. I loved it, but it ran like trash on my toaster so I gave up on it after the first hour or two.
Buy RE2 R,RE4,Origins Collection and RE7,and RE8 over this garbage

I actually bought The Note a couple of weeks ago haha. Not sure why it's bad, but it looks interesting based on the two whole screenshots I've seen from it.
