      yes he was promoted and will be responsible for coordination of the production of advanced weapon systems. It is all part of an upgrade of capability that will completely dwarf the west's capability to wage or match any offense against Russia. To try and match Russia the West would have to restructure their arms industry and would take a decade to match them particularly as cheap energy resources and raw materials are readily available to Russia.
      By the way Iran's attack on Israel was just a "demonstration" of their capability and a warning to the West that modern warfare has changed and the West hasn't kept up eg the West do not have any hypersonic capacity and lacks hypersonic defence weapons.

    Not one mention of Shoigus dismissal on the Russian propaganda site that I follow. Just the usual bluster about how scared NATO should be, how strong Russia is, and how it owns the entire continent, and how it's neighbouring countries should live in fear. It's obviously a very sore spot especially in the light of his colleague being arrested for corruption. Who knows how much Shoigu is worth?

    Seems like just as we have the Millitaty Industrial Complex (MIC), we also have a Bellitle Putin Complex (BPC).     Are the untapped gas fields in the Donbas region currently in Ukrainian control, or Russian? Trillions of cubic feet of gas, one of the largest coal mines in Europe, steel works, and agriculture lands.
    Both sides know they need it.
    Edit forgot the nuclear power plants which are crucial to both sides, most of Russia has no running electricity

      i was married to a Russian Ukrainian and have travelled through Russia. as well as Ukraine many times. These days seclusion does not matter, China has developed in secluded areas. Bovanenkovo was totally secluded. but that never mattered.

    This is just another infantile jab at anything Russian. Shoigu has been promoted to General Secretary of the Security Council (the modern Politburo) where his focus will be the Russian MIC. Hus successor has an economic background and the two of them will further fine tune snd improve the Russian MIC which is already outperforming all of NATO combined. Anyway, carry on children.
