Really liked Lu especially at Wimbledon and had a great long career.. monumental for him course... But this victory effectively ended the Wimbledon career of Andy Roddick. Just more salt on the wounds after 2009, dreams seemingly done of winning it which he so deserved too... Losing two heartbreaking epics back to back... That 2009 final I think was huge for Andy ending so early, heartbreaking to have been so close, but this one was like the nail in the coffin. still stayed a top player through 2010 and most of 2011, was really very good and a competitor even when he retired, though winning Majors seemed out of the question at that point. Almost entirely, still playing well, but he wanted to win Wimbledon, win Majors and I think 2009 and this loss here was probably too much to take, as his level began lowering as well after a decent stint in the top 5, 10 in the world.

i was in MIAMI open cheered for LU for couple year his famous words in Taiwanese i guess only few can understand: TAI PE SHIT can not finish the guy what a great memory of mine This match waked up my tennis players that i am proud to be Taiwanese too
