I’m glad I watched this video before trying it! I have my adapter but didn’t realize the shots would be vertical unlike the panos I see from my friends when they use their Pentax 67
Ya had to pull out the dark slide to see which way the film was going. Every camera would be different. Can always turn it but not most convenient way if you want to shoot horizontal panos.
I really enjoyed your video, thank you for creating it! stupid question: when you inserted the film, I am assuming you didn't wind it as you normally would with on a Hsselblad, given you cant shoot back the roll into the 35mm cartridge? Are you essentially shooting without the back being able to recognize which frame it is currently on? I didn't realize the back is still going to advance the film forward like that... Also, how many shots did you have to fire off to clear the exposed film. Thank you!
You're correct. Just loaded the film with the adapter and shot off one frame (if you want to be safe shoot a 2nd) Only way to know frame count is keep track yourself or just shoot and worry about it after (which is what I did) When you wind the film you can feel when it reach the end of the roll. Then took it home, opened and rewound in a darkroom (can also use change bag). I used a 220 back and shot a roll that said 24 exposures, guessing you can get most the roll used up for 36 exposure roll as well. The back WILL stop winding once you hit 12 / 24 depending on the back you use.
Sorry, I don't really see the point. If you want to shoot 35mm film, just use a 35mm camera. These shots are OK as a novelty, quite nice even, but not what the medium format cameras are designed for.
It’s a Hasselblad, why would you waste time with this when you can shoot 120?! Visible film sprockets are like live edge furniture, it was cool for 15 mins 15 years ago. 💩👎
I chuckled when you gave the hassy a smack.
Think it needs a CLA the rear door were getting stuck all the time. Or just needed some tough love😆
Big D this was great. Surprisingly meditative and I loved the juxtaposition between the video and stills. Very cool. 😎
Thanks for the support. Hope to do more photo walk videos in the future.

Thanks for the kind words

@@DmitryKoupriyanovthank you, that's great to know! Can't wait to shoot a roll now :)
FYI my backs don’t have the window that reads frame numbers off the backing paper. If yours do you’ll need to cover them.
i have a question please, how did you rewind the roll? rewind the film back to the 135 box ? thanks
Went in a dark room and opened the back and rewound it by hand. You can also do the same in a changing bag.
@@DmitryKoupriyanov ohhhh,i can completely see the operation you are saying, thx again!
@@DmitryKoupriyanov Another question please, how many photos can be shot
by this way in a 135 film?
Shot a roll of 24exp film and got 15 images. I was using a 220 back on the Hasselblad.

This video should be 70 minutes.
🤣🤣🤣

Same reason you wasted your time clicking on a video with a clear title of what you’ll get just to leave a negative comment.
