Hi Ash, I recently updated my n9005 to lollipop with this method. It works perfectly well! Phone rebooted in the first try with all my data intact! I did however factory reset my phone after that to get rid of my preloaded apps. Works smooth! Thanks a ton!

The Qwerty/Pinyin keyboard kept crashing, and Action Memo didn't work, amongst various other problems. I flashed the UK Lollipop BTU firmware from SamMobile, and I now have a much improved phone, which runs perfectly, and is as up to date as a carrier Note 4 in the UK. Perhaps even more up to date. This would have been impossible, for a novice like me, without your clear, idiot proof, instructions. Thank you, once again.
Thank! The UK Vodafone failed to flash so downloaded the polish 1 and that flashed 1st time. Rooted it with the latest CF Auto Root and installed cam recovery 6.0.4.7-KK it's working fine so far:)
successfully installed lollipop, without loosing single data. Apps popups- i loved it. But having some problem.. 1. Notification bar - compare to previous version (kitkat), i have to focus more to swipe down notification bar. 2. While receiving notifications from massaging app, like Whatsapp massage, it gives you drop down (like ios), but not able to open massages from there, it will stay there for about 20 seconds, and if i will swipe it to clear notification, the massage will no more there in the notification bar, so i have to go to app drawer and open that massaging app.

Hey, how much differences are there with the previous leaked software, is this one more stable or something ? Because I flashed the previous rom (official you uploaded on youtube a month or 2 ago). The rom is fine but the only problem is that it has more trouble finding a 4G connection then the previous stock rom (4.4.2). Has this been improved?

I did the other flash for lollipop 5.0 and I had to reinstall all info and everything. The other version has some issues but now I installed everything and my kids are using the kids mode... That alligator that comes with this version. They simply love it. I don't want to do it all again.
Official Lollipop got rolled out for my Galaxy S4 i9500 in India but seems to occupy more storage space and the toggle buttons now have been evolved taking the new design (but hate new toggle icons). Some unused features like Smart Scroll got stripped off the phone(appreciable though Air view integration on Flipboard app also stopped working). Performance has improved but may lag at times, lollipop still didn't fix battery issues and there's a complete revamp in the UI.

Hi thanks a lot for the video. I flashed my note 3 (n9005, uk EE operator) with the O2 version 5.0 which was the only uk version available in the website. But I'm facing problems such as wifi connection lost or reconnecting to wifi every 5-10 mins even under strong broadband wifi connection. I checked under different wifi network its the same issue, also my phone wifi was perfectly fine before flashing. Any suggestion to solved this will be gladly appreciated. Loosing enormous amount of mobile data as I'm not under unlimited package.
U have flashed the poland version. Is your phone from Poland? Mine is n9005 from UAE using in India. Can I use the poland version and update in the same procedure as in the video?

Hi C4ETech, great video as always, but it seems that some are having some issues with flashing this Lollipop update. I had some issues too: I had the leaked version installed and when flashing this 5.0 Update Odin couldn't flash it because of a "Fail! (Size)" error that compromized the entire process just before finishing it up. I assume there is a problem whith those (like me) who have the 32 gb version of SM-N9005 and to be precise with the PIT file for the Re-Partition. If you know something about this error and how to fix it could you please give us some help? That would be great Thank you Note: I tried to flash the new lollipop with the Leaked version PIT file but it didn't work, I had to re-flash the leaked version to jump out of the "soft brick".
yes, the mistake I made was that I was flashing the wrong rom. The correct one is the Polish one www.sammobile.com/firmwares/download/43186/N9005XXUGBOA5_N9005XEOGBOA4_XEO/ note that it works only for SM-N9005 (Note 3 LTE)
I have SM-N9005 model and it's baseband version is N9005XXUGBOJ1, i bought it from Netherland, it's unlocked device, and i live in India. when official update came in India i updated my device, by software update. after that my device automatically restart 3 to 4 times every day. I did factory reset but no change, then i called in Samsung care they are saying that it is happening because this device is not for this country. thay say you have to update it from Netherland, and it's not possible. so my question is, flashing my device like you have shown in video can solve my problem?
For SM-N900 do the same process, just look for the Russian version of android 5.0 instead of Poland version, make sure version is made exactly for your device.
Even I have read this at many places but they say that fb from play store crashes and bluetooth is completely not working after flashing Russian firmware. I think it's true.
Well, to he honest I never have experienced those bugs, but there are other minor issues such as we retype your WiFi password every time your device is restarted, overall I have had an excellent experience using Russian ROM

My n9005 is rooted and warranty void is triggered 0x1. Will this update be possible for me even though I will never be able to get any updates officially? Last time I had to install an official firmware 4.4.2 I had to add the right extra file on Odin to make my phone work. Otherwise it was a total BRICK!
Will it work if Lollipop firmware released for Russia for N900 is flashed for other regions? The firmware is for Russia is out. As you said in this video that any firmware will work as far as it is N9005. So will the same be applicable for N900??

my galaxy note 3 lte version is unlocked but my network is ee does this mean i have to wait for ee to release their own version? i assume if the phones unlocked i can download the Vodafone version or 02 version etc.... since the model of the phone is exactly the same i assume it will just come with the networks bloatware?

What if the device is a 32 gig variant should i tick the re partition option in odin....and if i ever wanted to flash back to my stock region firware will it be done without any trouble?
