Hey sir, do you have the link to this exhaust system ? I’m trying to get the same exact one and it would be of great help, thanks! Also great tutorial!
Here is the link to the exact one I got. Thanks for watching. jdmuscleusa.com/products/invidia-q300-axle-back-exhaust-lexus-is250-is350-2006-2013?ref=ar9tl2h7a8&variant=31106192048230
Sounds great man. Definitely a difference in sound. Everyone complaining just wants something louder than this. It’s almost like invidia sells more than one exhaust and different people like different sound levels…
Informative How To vid...i never realized the q300 uses a 2 piece connnection from the midpipe to the mufflers. 2 additional flanges with gaskets tht can be problematic would bother me. The new exhaust sound probably gives a nice placebo power gain but the game changer in small power increase and much deeper exhaust note is the invidia midpipe.
Anyone here cop some Codes after install? Engine, VSC, Traction off all come on once i put the pedal down on my 2008 IS350. It started as just codes but now it lets fumes out in the cabin almost every time the lights come on. Does anybody have any recommendations of what I should do? Do I need a tune? If so what one
Good video for when I go to install mine, bro what do you think of the f sport exhaust compared to this one, I know the f sport costs a lot more, a lot of people run with invidia, nice is350
I just installed the exhaust. Would you agree that the exhaust pipes hang kinda low? My lexus is pretty low however when I had the stock exhaust I’d hardly ever scrap but now anytime I hit a dip while driving, I hear the exhaust hitting the ground
Hey man I just installed the same Invidia q300 exhaust on my is350 also yesterday and it sounds kinda quite. I was expecting it to sound like how yours did after u put it on. Just wondering what u think it could be or if there is a break in period? Thanks
Probably not. I’m already scraping the front lip off my driveway. I’ll be doing some vland headlights next. Thanks for watching btw. Just out of curiosity what kind of videos would you like to see done? I’m looking for ideas.
FYI this isn't an cat back, just an axle back. Catback is all the way back to the primary cats and swapping midpipes (just did my 2006 IS 350, exact same just did Megan instead) Also, don't get invidia midpipes, will make your V6 sound like a clapped out Civic. Just cat delete or get Megan midpipes
@@AutoHeadzeveryone has been telling me it messes with the air in take and how it flows threw the engine so you have to tune the engine different. So far I’ve done cold air in take K&N, and the Q300 and now I’m thinking of the Megan mid pipe. But my fear was what everyone is saying
It’s a very tasteful exhaust. Anything louder would be annoying IMO. Check out this video for a much better idea of how it sounds if you want. ruclips.net/video/d5DTK5nHkeU/видео.html

Thank you! So true lol. This is not the “Honda civic at 2am wake up the entire neighborhood sound” if people want that look elsewhere. lol
this is super helpful. I've never switched out an exhaust but I feel pretty confident after your video
Thanks man. It’s an easy job as long as you have the right tools.

I love it. Definitely adds just the right amount of sound.

Great video !
Thanks!

Thank you. Honestly I love the Invidia. It takes awhile to break in but the sound is perfect.
Did the exhaust come with those two bolts and nuts that hold the invidia logo pipe?
Yes, it came with everything.
@@AutoHeadz Thanks for the reply!
Anytime man. Thank you for watching.

Iv never scrapped my exhaust with this setup. My car is not lowered at all though.

Definitely a break in period. It got significantly louder after about 1k miles. Give it some time.
@@AutoHeadz I appreciate you getting back to me man. Thank you and love the video
@@dylanlugo8897 Of course man. Enjoy the upgrade.
Do you know if it's the same set up for the 3rd generation IS?
It’s going to be slightly different
Good video. Now you just need some wheels and a drop.
Check out my other videos! Already did!

I was gonna do this will I have to get the Lexus tuned different
@Impactpaintingservices no sir

@Impactpaintingservices absolutely not. I’ve had it on now for 30,000 miles with absolutely zero problems you’ll be fine I promise.
@@AutoHeadz wonder why everyone was scaring me like that, okay now that I know that I feel better! Is it worth it!? How’s the sound it’s not to crazy?
Pretty quite

How can they call this a catback? Definitely doesn't connect to the cats
is the exhaust completely stock except the q300 ofc?
Yes sir. Only thing added was the Q300.
