Love this production quality and love this exhaust. I’m thinking about an exhaust for my IS350. Didn’t know you could get a valve controller one for a decent price! Great content
Been following you for a long time back when you had the old IS supper cool to see the production quality and car mods getting better! Especially on this platform! Keep up the good content brother
Even though you’re not 100% done, that’s an amazing job! It sounds really good with the valves open. I’m sure it sounds nice and quiet when cruising with the valves closed
Nice upgrade man! I have the Xforce Varex on my iSF paired with PPE headers and it definitely makes the car very easy to live with. Nearly 2 years on mine and I open and close it every day, no issues. For a "cheap" exhaust it's actually held up very well compared to the horror stories I've heard of QTP cutouts an other valved exhausts. One thing I would mention, try to get some various footage of the car open say 1, 2, 3 clicks. I find myself liking 2 clicks open the most for a good bark but minimal drone/attention.
I will have to play around with the clicks! I mostly did fully open or fully closed, but halfway opens up a whole new world. Of course my car is very raspy compared to yours
Watchung Marty customize his IS 350 makes me want to get an IS250 or 350 because my first car was a 2006 is 250 in 2018. I was 19 and we were closing the family dealer. Now I drive a prius and I'm worried it won't survive the winter haha. I'm really tempted but gas keeps going up and the Lexus takes premium.
I love the concept, i dont like the sound. Still cant wait to see some runs in this car. You make me wanna do stuff to my IS. Keep up the good content man 👌🏼
@@LensOfMartin i like the ark grip and invidia exhaust's for this car. It fits the cars character. And yes thats what i was thinking, for your exhaust having a valve it mos def sounds less aggressive.
If you up you exhaust pipe diameter you'll get a deeper sound with a bit less rasping. That's what I did on my IS250, world of difference! And for all the people watching if you go on eBay you can find the electronic valve controlled exhaust, (just the mufflers), for around $320!! Then the 2.5" pipe is another $180
Excellent content Marty I'm very impressed with how organized and straightforward it is. You've followed through with all of your ambitious goals so far. Thanks alot for your hard work
Great video, it is coming along you must be very excited to see your build come to life. I only have 91 octane out west but I still plan on SC my RC 350 F sport. Thank you for doing these videos and reping Lexus Where is that lift a parking garage?
Have you gotten your car redynoed after switching to the true dual set up ? I would like to see the difference in power since the true dual is less restrictive. 😃
Well that raspiness is because I have Catless headers, so no restriction. This will sound totally different on a normal IS350 without a supercharger or headers
Completely off topic but how was the magic drift side skirts on your black is350? I see they was on in some videos from two years ago then see they are no longer on in videos from only a years ago. Did they warp bad or something? I like the look of them and thinking of pulling the trigger just don’t know if they are going to sag in a month and look cheap. Hope to hear back from ya.
Do you need to re-tune it? Nice exhaust. How did you find out about the extra wide band sensor being needed? RR Racing? Also, does anyone know of any Lexus tuners near Philly, besides RR Racing? Like rebuild, exhaust, etc. tuning. ?
Thanks! Nope, no need to retune since my old exhaust was already setup this way when I did the supercharger. RR Racing recommend the wide band/boost gauge when I was buying my SC kit. It added $319 to the total.
@@LensOfMartin good to know. thank you. I'm trying to figure out if the Tacoma Magnuson supercharger can be put on the IS350 engine. Same engine, maybe different tunes.
Tbh I didn’t like how raspy it is. I’m going to do a similar exhaust setup on my IS250 but I plan on making it a true dual custom cat back with valvetronic mufflers so it might a little similar I guess we’ll have to see
Thank you for getting a new camera. I like your content but I get nauseas very easily. The camera stability allows me to watch your videos without taking breaks. Awww its unstable after the 5 min mark :/
I’m not sure what you mean since I’ve had the same camera (Sony A7iii) for over a year now. I change the lenses and use a tripod sometimes, but usually it’s handheld.
@@LensOfMartin If you can make the videos stable like a tripod would standing still. There is too much hand motion when recording via handheld. A Gimbal would really help and be much appreciated :)
Depends who you ask lol. My headers don’t have cats, but most performance cars don’t. It passed inspection. As far as the XFORCE exhaust, that is all completely street legal and fine. I bought my car with the Catless headers and it’s a pain to try and change them out lol
@@LensOfMartin I'm pretty sure X-force don't sell a single true dual catback for any vehicle. 2:42 it's pretty clear that there's a welded cut in the middle of the two pipes. I chopped up my X-force exhaust on my v6 commodore and my X pipe looks exactly like that. Furthermore the diameter of where the weld is isn't 2x the diameter of the piping. And you can even hear the characteristic trumpety sound that an X-pipe makes... It's even in the name: 'X'-force. They sell X-pipes, I don't think I've seen them sell anything else. Could u give us the part number? I'm still not sure im right.
We designed the system for use with standard cat pipes and recommend it used that way. The supercharger and catless pipes do change the sound characteristics significantly so that does need to be taken into account.
I bought a 2006 Lexus IS 350 last week thank you for inspiring me to buy my dream car and live life to the fullest!
Insane sound especially when you floor it. Huge props

Great video Marty, we are gald you enjoy the system as many Lexus owners do

Loving the wrk bro!!! Excellent job and content!!! Keep it up!!
Id be curious to where you ended up wiring the valve controller to and mounting it
IS 250/350 are really underrated
Can you do a decibels test closed and open valve exhaust for next video?
I'll try!
Thanks for the vid marty! Im about to install mine. Did you end up figuring out what the best way is to set up the wiring? Thanks in advance.
Can you show the final result on the wiring on your next video?
That’s the plan!
Sounds great
Great video. Just finished putting mine on, but how did you manage to get the tips to fit so well in the bumper?
Love the content ✊
Takes some driving time to bed in mufflers. Typically exhaust note will gradually get louder and deeper.
This is true! It’s sounding better the more I drive it
Nice job 👏. I don't like the raspy. But the SUPER CHARGER SOUNDS GOOD 👍
Thanks! Unfortunately the rasp comes with cat less headers and there isn’t much I can do ahi it that without hurting power numbers :( lol
Must be getting close to the F rematch

What Would Be A Good Exhaust System For AWD ? I Know RWD & AWD Have Different Systems Because Of The Midpipe & Stuff
🔥🔥what year is this Lexus ?
Nice job bro you d man at mods
Have you gotten your car redynoed after switching to the true dual set up ? I would like to see the difference in power since the true dual is less restrictive. 😃
Do you think if it still had cats it wouldn't sound so raspy??
Great job Marty! Does this affect the dash like does it make the annoying hazard light come on?
Nope, no lights. Everything lined up with the factory and the O2 sensors have a nice spot just like every other exhaust
Love that open sound with the supercharger. Any noticeable difference in power?
I haven’t gotten to test it thoroughly but it seems like it’s more responsive
I don't like the BIZZZ at the high end. I will stick with the factory setup. I got a Injen intake, so when i want a loud engine sound i just floor it.
Well that raspiness is because I have Catless headers, so no restriction. This will sound totally different on a normal

Will this exhaust work for the current generation IS 350?
yessss

Hey Marty, with the PPE catless headers and the x force exhaust did you get any CELs or did the RR Racing tune correct it ?
The tune corrected that with the headers, and the previous owner had that done - the Catback exhaust wouldn’t affect that
Catless headers 👀 no check engine light?
It's tuned out 👀
You need a megan mid pipe
So do you need to weld if you have no supercharge like you?
No welding required if you’re not supercharged (I had to make another hole for an extra sensor)
Does anyone know if there have been any trans mods? Or is he just running standard untouched Aisin?
We're did u get that duckbill spoiler.
It’s actually molded into the carbon fiber trunk - VIS racing makes the trunk

Best source for upgrading recent is 350’S?
Have you checked out RR Racing ?
Pretty sure they have parts for newer IS
Time for a retune mate.. the leaner the meaner
After the install now it’s just open headers and exhaust do you don’t have the Invidia mid pipe anymore in it??
The XFORCE has its own midpipe as part of the catback exhaust system
Is there any way I could buy your old exhaust setup for my is 350?
Sounds good mate..will this be suitable for a 2012 IS250 F Sport.
Definitely! It’ll fit right on. They are based in Australia
Is the f sport badge on the trunk Original? Or was it a added mod
It's an original badge
What did you do with the axelback?
Did a giveaway with the old exhaust
How’s the drone?
It's not really there, especially in A "closed" mode. B or "open" has some drone due to the loudness
Hey marty, do you know if this catback exhaust would fit on the AWD models?
Hmm I want to say yes but I’m not sure how different the AWD models are. I would contact XFORCE and see
Would this fit for a 2006 Lexus is250???
Also For AWD

Which exhaust has the valve option
The more expensive one with the Varex mufflers
let me get the invidia midpipe 😩
Ark performance I believe sounds a whole lot better. But nevertheless nice sound!
When you have Catless headers everything sounds loud and raspy lol and these are definitely more budget friendly
So your car isnt technically street legal right? Since the cats came off for the PPE headers? My 350 is a daily so any mods need to keep it legal :P

Where can I get this? Says out of stock in the link in the description 😂
Too bad xforce NEVER has the Varex system in stock for the ISF. XForce - are you paying attension?
It seems like other retailers do though. Probably just a supply issue like everything lately
best setup is 1792 resonator to muffler delete
Valve system is good concept, but i didn't like the sound for that money to be honest. My tsudo exhaust is much more cheaper and sounds way better.
Do you have Catless headers and supercharged? It’ll sound different on a normal IS350. Mine is very raspy due to my other mods.
@@LensOfMartin yes, mine is stock.
what kind of pizza WAS THAT?
Stuffed pizza, the best
Mate it's obviously got an X pipe RIGHT THERE in the thumbnail, it's not a true dual exhaust.
It’s not an X-pipe…It’s 2 separate pipes just next to each other but at that angle to fit properly.
