My old stomping ground fished many times at Clare Creek was Clear Creek but the water is never clear. Back waters from Little Miami River. Fished under that bridge many of day. Saw many N&W trains back in the 60s and early 70s. Was a very active line. Thanks Brian!
The dynamic duo out playing again ! Filmed where nobody gets too -the trestle is inspirational Brian -we are sooo lucky to have you doing this vids for us -may thanks for them ! This will be saved again for prosperity ! Nice film from Matt again -more info for the modellers -you two make a superb partnership. Guess you'll be busy for a day or too at the ranch with that amount of stuff to move ?? Regards

Haha!! Those children in the background @ 4:27! That's some serious dirt throwing, Nobody better not ever make attempts to rob or bully them! Lol! Thanks for sharing!
That's awesome!!! To see an SW Switcher leading the train. I used to see SW10/SW12 and SW1500 Switchers all the time in Rail yards now it's mainly GP's and SD's switching. They are becoming rare to see. Some of those SW's do smoke allot tho.
Awesome sir jaw tooth!!!!! That hopper on that train was SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!!! Need to send that to micro trains so I can buy it....lol I love the colorful ones and so does the wife....she makes me buy them....lol...
In the '64 flood, people put their cars up on the tracks to protect them from the flood but the flood waters reached over the track and washed peoples cars away. My Mom was like 3yo at the time and lived back on Fort Lee Pkwy. They got rescued and the nearest dry spot they were dropping people off was where UDF is at in Newtown. There is old news footage somewhere of my Grandma and my Mom being dropped off there by boat.
well I wrot you about a paragraph about a few manufacturers using the same train and accidentally deleted it. but keep up the good videos brian I enjoy them
Well I love the new playground you just installed even if you don't know it yet! Also did you notice the climbing pegs on the old pole for the railroads power, communication, and old telegraph lines to the right of the Diabolt road crossing? Did you notice the completely cultivated field to the right off the roadway that goes under the right side of the bridge over the river.. It makes you wonder what it was previously planted in to have already been harvested and the field already cultivated this early in the fall already? Also Jaws when did the railroad quit using the two engines that you mentioned? Are they just sitting now? Or did they sell them? What's the story?
I didn't see what they had in the fields before they replanted. The GP49s are done. A few months ago they shipped 2807 to another railroad owned by the owners of CCET. They sent it to Walla Walla out west. The black engine is stored near Newtown waiting for its owner to find it another use and the parts engine is still sitting there near it. I didn't notice the climbing pegs. I'll take a look
There were fields in this area that went unplanted this spring and early summer because of all the rain we had here in SW Ohio. They are getting a good start on the winter wheat as a result.
Lol, thanks! A friend of mine that I was a member of the same fire department made them. He use to own a pink fire truck that he used in parades for breast cancer awareness. I rode in his fire truck for the Mount Orab, Ohio Christmas parade.
CCET has two B36-7s and the one MP15DC. The grain elevator owns a SW9. The other locos in storage near Newtown are not owned or used by CCET. They will be removed when their owners find use for them somewhere else
We have one too, it’s about an hour or maybe more to walk and it’s on a back road but gotta go off the trail into the woods, or take the tracks, idk about taking the tracks since on each side u gotta do some sliding Incase a train comes, possibly the only one in my area that films trains which is good so no one steals my spot lol
Hey brain on your google image you'll seen a line of trees to your right at the bottom of your screen this is the old wye track to turn the A's and the Y's around, also in Newtown just passed the old signal is were the old depot was. Last you can see all of this on Greg Scholl Video N&W STEAM PASSENGER TRAINS this video covers the Peavine line from 1955 to 1958.
New town. Funny because I live in frankfort OH, which used to be called old town, but then they officially changed the name to frankfort in 18-something.

My first time to ever back to the trestle. Cool area but they keep a chain across the lane. I bet the soil there is really good
The girls looked like they were having a lot of fun on the mounds of dirt. 👧🏼👧🏻. I like the undershots of the trains. Coolio video. 👍🏼
Real nice live private property bridge action on the Peavine!!!

Wow! It's got a bell on it!
Is electric bells at crossings the new way? I enjoy hearing the real bells here in upper Michigan!
It is the new way. We have 3 crossings within 100 feet of each other in my neighborhood. One has an e-bell and they drive me crazy.

Its hard to believe that what was an abandoned rail line is now have trains with up to 20 cars at a time. Also love the sidings really coool.
I have filmed some of them with over 70 cars but that is rare
Thanks for the great video !!!

Unreal, there was water in the Water Tower?? Took me a while, but finally seen inside the grain company, keep rolling 👍
Thanks, will do!

Cool!
Would be nice to see what’s left of the old wye just east of that location in Newtown.
I wonder if I could find it. I would have to look at the maps and see if I can locate anything
Awesome railfanning action me
What is the current locomotive rooster? I love seeing the old SOO Line cars I grew up in Michigan.

Are the B36-7’s ex-csx’s
Which railroad originally built the tracks you were filming today?
Good catch JT. Does the old, like really old, still run?
LOVE IT PAPAJERTOOF LOVE IT
Video 2: The CCET goes back in time to pick up cars from the Delaware & Hudson and Central Vermont!
That wheel slapping is from riding the brakes on a freight train it flatspots the wheels so they slap
Appreciate your explanation especially since I had wondered about that sound! Nice work Mark 👍
@Mark Arrivi Why were they riding the brakes?
@@bootsdocsandconspiracies6589 they werent riding the break it must have happened before they put the car on the that train
Why did they sell the Alaska railroad engine and the other Geep
