I’m glad this is getting called out, I went snowboarding for my second time last week and getting off the lift is scary to learn, I’m always afraid of people judging me! Luckily almost nobody on the mountain is like these two
Just remember two things, everyone had to learn something for the first time and it’s okay to laugh at yourself as well. If you just embrace the fact that you are learning and going to make mistakes the perceived judgement of others doesn’t even matter. Just have a good time!
I was exactly the same as you. Its really daunting getting of the ski lifts and worrying about what others think of you. However, the majority don't really care and understand that we are all had to start at some point. Just keep at it and embrace you'll make mistakes but you'll learn from them.

As someone who still remembers their first experience with snow sports the chair lift is one of the most daunting things I can remember when I started. I probably would’ve never left my hotel room if people were recording my first few experiences getting off a chair lift and laughing.
When I got off the lift, it was my first time and they had to shut it down momentarily. When I got off I fell and got smacked in the head and ran over by the cart. 🤣😂🤣
Funniest story about a relative on the ski lift we were waiting for our turn to get on and btw we’ve been skiing 10+ years so he should be a natural at it but anyways he he was just behind the spot he was surprise to stand and his wife was telling him to come back to the line and the ski lift tripped him and he was just laying there swearing in Arabic it was hilarious 😂😂

You have to be one horrible individual to have the cheek and stand there recording people, judging them, and hoping they fail for content. I'm glad to see others have called this out for what it is, outright bullying. This is why people are put off trying new things, especially skiing, because of being judged by snowbunnies and posh self centred wankers who look down at you.
i was traumatized😔💀 i was about to get off but it was my first time so i wasn’t used to walking with the skis so i fall but of course the skis are long so my legs are basically touching my back, feet going sideways while i’m on the ground….. didn’t go back up🕺
