I was into the occult when Jesus called me. I believed all the Christianity stuff was brainwashing, but after God drew me to look deeper, I asked God to show me the truth. He led me to Jesus.. @@brushfire Here is some of my Testimony. I was given the Holy Spirit over twenty years ago. I did not go to church nor was my family religious in any way. As a young girl, I was drawn to God, and on my own volition, I prayed to God before bedtime, and my mother never discouraged it. As I grew older, I drew away from praying, especially in my teens and twenties. I was particularly rebelious in my twenties when I began getting into the occult and many terrible things such as having sex without being married. I began having very strange events happen to me around the age of 26. One evening, as me and my friends were at a grocery store buying beer. I had decided to wait for them in the car. It was winter, so it was dark. Next to my car was a parked truck. No one was in the truck upon first glance, but when I looked that way again, a very old nun in a black habit was staring at me in a very stern manner. It was as if she could read my very soul, and I became ashamed immediately. I looked forward, for I was too scared to look in her eyes, but I couldn't help look back at the truck, and when I did, only seconds later, she was not there. I saw her as if she were a solid person. I didn't tell any of my friends about it when they came back to the car, for I couldn't even process how something like that happened. Then, several years later, it was in the middle of the afternoon. I usually do not nap in the afternoon, for I am very energetic, but this afternoon, I felt deeply exhausted. I lied on the bed and fell asleep. Next thing I know, I find myself out of my body looking at myself. I thought, how can this be? I then walked toward the living room. Everything looked as if it did when I was awake. I was drawn to the living room window, so I looked down toward the yard, and there was an angel in the yard. She was made of a golden light, and she was in a linen robe. She waved at me, and then all of a sudden, in a flash, she came through the wall and stood before me. I was shocked! Her eyes looked at me with the most loving look. The golden glow which surrounded her was an amazing color, not one that I had seen before, so it is hard to explain. I could see through her, and no, she did not have wings. She did speak with me telepathically. She told me some thing that were going to happen to me, but she basically let me know that I would be protected. She then turned into a point of light and whized through my entire apartment , and then she turned into a person figure again, standing before me with a smile. At that, I woke up! I thought, whoa.. what was that.. I wouldn't have believed it was anymore than an ultra-realistic dream if the events she told me about didn't come true, they did! After that, I kept thinking about God. I asked God to show me the truth. It was then.. not sure how long after the question.. few weeks? I was taking a bath, and a vision of Jesus on the cross appeared in front of me. I instantly knew Jesus did a great thing for us! I said outloud, God! I no longer want to fight with you! Several weeks after that.. I was having a milkshake at a restaurant watching a young couple with their baby.. the waiter who was taking care of me was tending to the young couple and he beautifully carressed the baby's cheek with the back of his hand. I thought the gesture was so beautiful. When I went up to him to pay my bill, all of a sudden a wind from above came down on me and put me in a whilrwind of divine love.. it was so powerful that the waiter witnessed it, for after this wind went into me, he said, What was that??.. I said nothing, and I ran home scared! Several nights later, God came to me in a dream. He was a beautiful light. He told me things I had to do, but I don't remember them because he told me I wouldn't be able to remember them once I woke up. I have had many supernatural things happen to me, brother. As you can imagine, I threw away all of my occult books and anything that would offend God, from what I read in the Bible. I can feel His Holy Spirit in me. If you would have told me these things to my unbelieving self, I would have laughed them off as crazy.
@@brushfire I did have a repentance moment, but I left it out. When God revealed himself to me, I cried for two days. I felt like such an eel. I couldn't believe I did so many horrible things. that is what prompted me to throw all of my occult books into the garbage.. I had hundreds of dollars of old and new books. trashed them along with my tarot cards which I had for 15 years. I did readings all over.. was even in my towns newspaper at one time.
@@brushfire No kidding.. but I was terribly hounded by demons.. it was bad.. I had them in me.. they battled me hard. It was a fight. I did what Jesus tells us to do.. fast and pray.. and after about three months, it got better, but they still attack me from time to time.. due to black magic being done on me.. which isn't too much fun. You may have it done on you too.. they can use your image, especially your eyes.. astral projection... Keep alert.. Jesus is with you!

Bro, I had a kitchen encounter myself. Balling my eyes out sweating. It felt like my entire life flashed before my eyes. All the sin in me and in the world and it changed everything. The title got me and it was supposed to. God bless you and may He have mercy on us all

For a moment I thought that I was having a psychotic break at the start of it, but after all the revelation, the super natural events, & answered prayers I know the truth. Kids are being crushed under concrete with the weight of buildings on top of them, and this God of yours neglects them but visits you. Do you not see how unbalanced and unfair that is? Are you really that arrogant that you believe God would choose to reveal himself to you but totally ignore some kid dying in pain, screaming for their mother?
@@davev7615 The problem of suffering. God did not personally “visit” him, he had a spiritual encounter that led him to God. There are children dying across the globe from war, famine and what not, which is a very sad thing but this does not negate the existence of God. Death and suffering are part of this mortal world plagued by sin and we should expect it to happen. Although sad, you are appealing to emotions. God can choose to help a dying child, but wouldn’t that go against what he has planned. In the Christian perspective, we are mortal beings. Suffering is mortal and death is inevitable. After that it is spiritual.

Thank you for sharing your powerful testimony. I had a similar experience back in May 2022, when God showed up in my life at my lowest point. I was entangled in fornication, pornography, lying, anger-you name it, I was guilty of it all. Alone in my room, I found myself holding a Christian devotional book that had mysteriously arrived in the mail without a sender's name. On the first page was a handwritten Bible verse from Matthew 11:28. As I read it, tears streamed down my face, and I felt God's presence so strongly. All my sins flashed before my eyes, but He extended His hand of forgiveness to me and called me to leave everything behind and follow Him. Two years later, I am now a baptized Christian, leading my own Bible study group at my local church. God is truly good.

Hey bro! 22yr old Christian here, came to faith at 17. I was like you, I pursued money and wanted to have a mil net worth by 30. Then God got ahold of my heart (At 17). Your story is very encouraging for me to hear, thank the Lord I found it! One thing I love is that you talk so much about finding the Lord Jesus. So many atheists study the apostle Paul and try to understand what he said - but they miss the crucial thing that you and I realized: Paul truly KNEW Christ! He had an encounter with Him, as did you and I. I have been walking with the Lord from 17 to now 22, I am called to serve the Lord in ministry, and I am courting one of God's daughters and am close to calling her my wife. I say that as a demonstration of what God can do! Trust the LORD through the process. I know you have not been a follower of Christ for very long, but trust Him, obey Him, and know he is working all things according to the counsel of His will! Glad to sub to you bro!

@@brushfire I watched the rest of your video, truly encouraging and inspiring! I've been addicted to porn since I found it at 11 years old. And I think that addiction led to feeling like I might be bisexual, just because you constantly need more and more depravity when you're a slave to porn. I stopped being an atheist in 2018 and was basically just agnostic. Be a good person. But about 4 months ago I had an old friend reach out to me and we talked about Christianity. I told her I was supportive of it, but didn't fully believe myself, I just had too many questions and doubts. I started reading the bible for myself and noticed my anxiety was going away, and my desire to look at porn was going away. I gave up smoking weed, watching porn, and being cynical at the same time. And that made me feel better than I've ever felt. The peace you feel when you get close with God is unlike anything! I ended up relapsing on the porn and the weed after a big fight with my wife, who is agnostic and not cool with the Christian stuff. We are working on things and I pray every day for her conversion. But about 3 days ago, I was feeling so far from God and it was terrible. I prayed a lot, told God repeatedly that I accept Jesus as my personal Lord and Savior and that I give myself to Him. And since doing that, I haven't had the desire to look at porn. I'm 3 days in now, and I think I can go the rest of my life without looking at porn. One thought that brought a lot of peace was "that was the last time I'd ever look at porn". The idea of NEVER looking at porn again just brings me so much contentment and peace, I need to fulfill that.

It was jarring how much I relate to you in the sins that chained me down to the world, I truly had a mindset that porn was the only way I could feel but God didn’t let go of me and I’m so thankful to have finally had a breakthrough a couple days ago. Your testimony is so touching. I came to Christ in 2023, and one day when I was "forced" to go to church and something *clicked* and a warm peace fell over me like a soft blanket :) and I slowly faded out from my old way and (of course I still struggle, stumble, and fall.. but I know that God catches me every time) become new in Christ! Sometimes Satan will try and bring my past back to me but I rebuke it in the name of Jesus! Stay well and thank you for sharing your journey
God is truly with you! I share most of your testimony before the kitchen reveal. I don’t think or know I’ve had an encounter yet. And at times I feel not saved because I don’t have those encounters and events that confirm things clearly
my first real experience with god was at a christian youth rally, it was this year. i’d gone to this rally(C4C) many times before, but was so caught up in the world i never listened to the preachings. but this year it touched me. i felt his presence and i broke down sobbing. i sobbed and repented for all i’d done. i’m tearing up now just remembering it lol. but after that night i had to get rid of people in my life. and it was hard. but the lord helped me through my loneliness, and he continues to help me. thank you for sharing your experiences, brother, may god bless you♥️

@brushfire I appreciate this video. I'm going through something similar. I'm 23 and have considered myself an atheist for the last 8 years or so. And one day while I was riding my bike to work, I was having extremely nihilistic thoughts, and then out of the blue someone yelled, "Jesus loves you" out of the passenger side of a moving vehicle. That alone didn't set me on the path towards believing but there's been a number of moments that've been too strange to be coincidence. I'm still in the agnostic phase but I feel like I'm starting to see things more clearly. Anyway, thought I'd share.

This is so similar to what I went through. At the end of 2020, I was taking a shower before bed, and in the past couple years or so leading up to this, I had slowly began to think about God, but I called out to God in my heart at this moment, casting away all doubts for the first time as to the existence if God, and my mind felt like it lit in fire, and I saw lights shooting around my mind and I could understand the Bible all of the sudden, and I understood sin, and I heard Bible passages in my mind which were burried. I felt Jesus reach down through my mind and into my heart, and it was like my heart was dull and hardened before this, but it softened me again and I was crying and feeling again. I understood that time was short and that Jesus was coming for the lost sheep who are on the edge of straying too far. Now all I can do is study my Bible and I just want to be home. This world grieves me. Thank you, Jesus, I love you. ❤✝️

Wow, you really packed a lot of lessons into one video ❤thank you for seeing and answering my comment on the other (1 year anniversary) video…you are planting a bunch of seeds and all look to be coming up too!! Interesting that you brought up the sower and the four soils in this video, I didn’t see this until after my comment on the other video. Funny thing is when I was around 11 years old my parents were taking me and my brothers to Seventh day Adventist church. They are cultish and legalistic and don’t fully teach the truth about Jesus and teach the teachings of a false prophetess Ellen G. White, but one Saturday at church our pastor was teaching out of the book of Matthew about the parable of the 4 soils. I didn’t usually pay much attention to sermons, but I heard this one loud and clear and inwardly I prayed that I was good soil. I wasn’t saved until many years later at age 32, but I still remember times where God used people to prepare my heart to receive His forgiveness and salvation. I pray that God will continue to bless you in sharing His message of peace and love. ❤🙏❤️

I was baptized earlier this month at 37 years old. One thing I've learned in my journey to accept the Lord's gift of salvation, is that to walk with Christ does not mean you'll never sin again. I had a similar experience of receiving the gift of His conviction several years ago. The greatest gift I ever received. I think it's great that you were able to turn from all your sins of drinking smoking fornicating etc. For me, it is a DAILY battle. Yes of course, we turn from sin as much as we're able, but we are merely human. We are all sinners. That is not the covenant we live by. We pray and we battle sin together, but when we slip up, we repent. To me, that is the Gospel. No man was ever blameless or sinless or perfect except for 1. God wants us IN THE BATTLE. You will sin, and continue to sin, because we are all sinners. We are not to be made sinless thru Christ. But that he was the perfect sacrifice for the worlds sins. And that all who believe will have everlasting life. I hear you brother. I want to be sinless and perfect. I really, really do. I struggle, but I continue to pray and I know He is with me.

"Doubting" God isn't sin (20:21) - just wanna clarify. I think the way you phrased it could potentially be misleading. It's taking that doubt and using it as a foundation for turning against Him, trusting the *doubt* over God's Word that *leads* to sin that will just pull you further and further from God and perpetuate more sin. Doubt can be good. Doubt can lead to questions that lead to further investigation into God's character. Don't fear the doubt - God can use it.
I watched your video today because it popped up into my recommended, I have been struggling with doubts and choosing my will over God's. I have been experiencing the Holy Spirit communicating with me for a while now, sometimes I follow, other times I don't. When I heard your story I decided to do the same thing. I asked God "I know you are real, but I have doubts, If you are real let me feel the weight of my sins, let me feel what Jesus felt" And before I could say anything more my legs gave out and I fell flat on my face, I started crying and felt scared. I tried to push myself up but the weight was so much. The more I tried to get up, the more pushed down I got. It only stopped when I said "Jesus help me" and the weight was lifted instantly. Thank you, I will now work towards getting baptized. It has been on my mind for a while now

In my upbringing my family life was hard, as I am older now I realize the things ive always wanted are wholesome things after experiencing things that were not so wholesome like family falling apart and very hard situations often times I got thrown into & suffered greatly from and spirituality, religion & God aside I crave these things but with God it comes to you! You are changed and brought to God and its the way you were meant to be. God bless everyone we all need more of God man.

This video was super good man, I’m 21 and currently having an existential crisis myself, been researching and watching a lot of videos just to like, CONVINCE myself that this stuff is true. It’s weird when you hit a certain age things just start hitting you, like what’s the purpose of life. Because realistically when you become honest and realize that if there is no higher being then to be frank nothing matters other than just living and dying. @@brushfire of course, it spoke to me on a lot of levels. I commented a little early into the video and when I heard the rest of your testimony of how you got conviction and fell to your knees, I had the exact same thing when I started looking deeper into this stuff, I was living with my roommates at the time and long story short I prayed and fell to my knees in conviction and cried for so so long. Almost daily really, and now I don’t really feel that anymore but remembering the experience of that really helps to keep having what little faith I have now. I was smoking a lot of pot as well and when I prayed and asked god to remove that from my life, the very next day when I smoked it was just HEAVY HEAVY conviction, heart pounding and crying. Wow, we have such a similar story. The moment I was so sick of my life and no amount of money or sex or drugs was fulfilling me, I thought I was in hell… it was an endless cycle. I literally describe being born again as escaping the matrix, most of everything out of there keeps us distracted. Everything of this world is against the truth of Jesus Christ. I already made the argument that there needs to be an eternal mind (the uncaused cause) that had to "start" everything but he doesn't buy it.
Hmm interesting scenario. I would argue that without God there are no moral absolutes, no true definition of right, wrong, good or bad…Without God being the standard of these things then, as an atheist, you have no ground to stand on when you argue something is unjust, wrong or evil. If you’re an atheist, and you believe we’re all just mutated and evolved cosmic bacteria, then Hitler’s opinion of good is just as valid as MLKJ’s definition of good because it is one evolved bacteria’s opinion vs another evolved bacteria’s opinion. But, since we do know that there are moral absolutes (because we’re made in the image of God and He has written His laws in our hearts and mind) we know without a doubt that things like murder, oppression, racism, etc are always wrong. An atheist would agree with you that these things are wrong but without a higher standard, a God who defines these things, that atheists has no true ground to make this claim and therefore lives in a false reality. As a theist, you live in a reality that makes logical and moral sense. As an atheist, you live in a world that eventually caves in on itself because it’s a logical fallacy to claim there is no God and no true definition of moral truth, but to act, live and complain about injustices, like there is a true moral standard. Essentially, you have to steal from God’s world to make those complaints.

I was into the occult when Jesus called me. I believed all the Christianity stuff was brainwashing, but after God drew me to look deeper, I asked God to show me the truth. He led me to Jesus.. @@brushfire Here is some of my Testimony. I was given the Holy Spirit over twenty years ago. I did not go to church nor was my family religious in any way. As a young girl, I was drawn to God, and on my own volition, I prayed to God before bedtime, and my mother never discouraged it. As I grew older, I drew away from praying, especially in my teens and twenties. I was particularly rebelious in my twenties when I began getting into the occult and many terrible things such as having sex without being married. I began having very strange events happen to me around the age of 26. One evening, as me and my friends were at a grocery store buying beer. I had decided to wait for them in the car. It was winter, so it was dark. Next to my car was a parked truck. No one was in the truck upon first glance, but when I looked that way again, a very old nun in a black habit was staring at me in a very stern manner. It was as if she could read my very soul, and I became ashamed immediately. I looked forward, for I was too scared to look in her eyes, but I couldn't help look back at the truck, and when I did, only seconds later, she was not there. I saw her as if she were a solid person. I didn't tell any of my friends about it when they came back to the car, for I couldn't even process how something like that happened. Then, several years later, it was in the middle of the afternoon. I usually do not nap in the afternoon, for I am very energetic, but this afternoon, I felt deeply exhausted. I lied on the bed and fell asleep. Next thing I know, I find myself out of my body looking at myself. I thought, how can this be? I then walked toward the living room. Everything looked as if it did when I was awake. I was drawn to the living room window, so I looked down toward the yard, and there was an angel in the yard. She was made of a golden light, and she was in a linen robe. She waved at me, and then all of a sudden, in a flash, she came through the wall and stood before me. I was shocked! Her eyes looked at me with the most loving look. The golden glow which surrounded her was an amazing color, not one that I had seen before, so it is hard to explain. I could see through her, and no, she did not have wings. She did speak with me telepathically. She told me some thing that were going to happen to me, but she basically let me know that I would be protected. She then turned into a point of light and whized through my entire apartment , and then she turned into a person figure again, standing before me with a smile. At that, I woke up! I thought, whoa.. what was that.. I wouldn't have believed it was anymore than an ultra-realistic dream if the events she told me about didn't come true, they did! After that, I kept thinking about God. I asked God to show me the truth. It was then.. not sure how long after the question.. few weeks? I was taking a bath, and a vision of Jesus on the cross appeared in front of me. I instantly knew Jesus did a great thing for us! I said outloud, God! I no longer want to fight with you! Several weeks after that.. I was having a milkshake at a restaurant watching a young couple with their baby.. the waiter who was taking care of me was tending to the young couple and he beautifully carressed the baby's cheek with the back of his hand. I thought the gesture was so beautiful. When I went up to him to pay my bill, all of a sudden a wind from above came down on me and put me in a whilrwind of divine love.. it was so powerful that the waiter witnessed it, for after this wind went into me, he said, What was that??.. I said nothing, and I ran home scared! Several nights later, God came to me in a dream. He was a beautiful light. He told me things I had to do, but I don't remember them because he told me I wouldn't be able to remember them once I woke up. I have had many supernatural things happen to me, brother. As you can imagine, I threw away all of my occult books and anything that would offend God, from what I read in the Bible. I can feel His Holy Spirit in me. If you would have told me these things to my unbelieving self, I would have laughed them off as crazy.
@@brushfire I did have a repentance moment, but I left it out. When God revealed himself to me, I cried for two days. I felt like such an eel. I couldn't believe I did so many horrible things. that is what prompted me to throw all of my occult books into the garbage.. I had hundreds of dollars of old and new books. trashed them along with my tarot cards which I had for 15 years. I did readings all over.. was even in my towns newspaper at one time.

@@brushfire No kidding.. but I was terribly hounded by demons.. it was bad.. I had them in me.. they battled me hard. It was a fight. I did what Jesus tells us to do.. fast and pray.. and after about three months, it got better, but they still attack me from time to time.. due to black magic being done on me.. which isn't too much fun. You may have it done on you too.. they can use your image, especially your eyes.. astral projection... Keep alert.. Jesus is with you!

@@davev7615 The problem of suffering. God did not personally “visit” him, he had a spiritual encounter that led him to God. There are children dying across the globe from war, famine and what not, which is a very sad thing but this does not negate the existence of God. Death and suffering are part of this mortal world plagued by sin and we should expect it to happen. Although sad, you are appealing to emotions. God can choose to help a dying child, but wouldn’t that go against what he has planned. In the Christian perspective, we are mortal beings. Suffering is mortal and death is inevitable. After that it is spiritual.

And that is easy for you to say because you don't have a disease that has made your life a nightmare. How fucking dare you speak to me about suffering. Thank you for sharing your powerful testimony. I had a similar experience back in May 2022, when God showed up in my life at my lowest point. I was entangled in fornication, pornography, lying, anger-you name it, I was guilty of it all. Alone in my room, I found myself holding a Christian devotional book that had mysteriously arrived in the mail without a sender's name. On the first page was a handwritten Bible verse from Matthew 11:28. As I read it, tears streamed down my face, and I felt God's presence so strongly. All my sins flashed before my eyes, but He extended His hand of forgiveness to me and called me to leave everything behind and follow Him.
Two years later, I am now a baptized Christian, leading my own Bible study group at my local church. God is truly good.

22yr old Christian here, came to faith at 17. I was like you, I pursued money and wanted to have a mil net worth by 30. Then God got ahold of my heart (At 17). Your story is very encouraging for me to hear, thank the Lord I found it! One thing I love is that you talk so much about finding the Lord Jesus. So many atheists study the apostle Paul and try to understand what he said - but they miss the crucial thing that you and I realized: Paul truly KNEW Christ! He had an encounter with Him, as did you and I.
I have been walking with the Lord from 17 to now 22, I am called to serve the Lord in ministry, and I am courting one of God's daughters and am close to calling her my wife. I say that as a demonstration of what God can do!
Trust the LORD through the process. I know you have not been a follower of Christ for very long, but trust Him, obey Him, and know he is working all things according to the counsel of His will!

I've been addicted to porn since I found it at 11 years old. And I think that addiction led to feeling like I might be bisexual, just because you constantly need more and more depravity when you're a slave to porn.
I stopped being an atheist in 2018 and was basically just agnostic. Be a good person.
But about 4 months ago I had an old friend reach out to me and we talked about Christianity. I told her I was supportive of it, but didn't fully believe myself, I just had too many questions and doubts.
I started reading the bible for myself and noticed my anxiety was going away, and my desire to look at porn was going away. I gave up smoking weed, watching porn, and being cynical at the same time. And that made me feel better than I've ever felt.
The peace you feel when you get close with God is unlike anything!
I ended up relapsing on the porn and the weed after a big fight with my wife, who is agnostic and not cool with the Christian stuff. We are working on things and I pray every day for her conversion.
But about 3 days ago, I was feeling so far from God and it was terrible. I prayed a lot, told God repeatedly that I accept Jesus as my personal Lord and Savior and that I give myself to Him. And since doing that, I haven't had the desire to look at porn. I'm 3 days in now, and I think I can go the rest of my life without looking at porn.
One thought that brought a lot of peace was "that was the last time I'd ever look at porn". The idea of NEVER looking at porn again just brings me so much contentment and peace, I need to fulfill that.

Your testimony is so touching. I came to Christ in 2023, and one day when I was "forced" to go to church and something *clicked* and a warm peace fell over me like a soft blanket :) and I slowly faded out from my old way and (of course I still struggle, stumble, and fall.. but I know that God catches me every time) become new in Christ! Sometimes Satan will try and bring my past back to me but I rebuke it in the name of Jesus! Stay well and thank you for sharing your journey
God is truly with you! I share most of your testimony before the kitchen reveal. I don’t think or know I’ve had an encounter yet. And at times I feel not saved because I don’t have those encounters and events that confirm things clearly

my first real experience with god was at a christian youth rally, it was this year. i’d gone to this rally(C4C) many times before, but was so caught up in the world i never listened to the preachings. but this year it touched me. i felt his presence and i broke down sobbing. i sobbed and repented for all i’d done. i’m tearing up now just remembering it lol. but after that night i had to get rid of people in my life. and it was hard. but the lord helped me through my loneliness, and he continues to help me. thank you for sharing your experiences, brother, may god bless you♥️

@brushfire I appreciate this video. I'm going through something similar. I'm 23 and have considered myself an atheist for the last 8 years or so. And one day while I was riding my bike to work, I was having extremely nihilistic thoughts, and then out of the blue someone yelled, "Jesus loves you" out of the passenger side of a moving vehicle. That alone didn't set me on the path towards believing but there's been a number of moments that've been too strange to be coincidence. I'm still in the agnostic phase but I feel like I'm starting to see things more clearly. Anyway, thought I'd share.

This is so similar to what I went through. At the end of 2020, I was taking a shower before bed, and in the past couple years or so leading up to this, I had slowly began to think about God, but I called out to God in my heart at this moment, casting away all doubts for the first time as to the existence if God, and my mind felt like it lit in fire, and I saw lights shooting around my mind and I could understand the Bible all of the sudden, and I understood sin, and I heard Bible passages in my mind which were burried. I felt Jesus reach down through my mind and into my heart, and it was like my heart was dull and hardened before this, but it softened me again and I was crying and feeling again. I understood that time was short and that Jesus was coming for the lost sheep who are on the edge of straying too far. Now all I can do is study my Bible and I just want to be home. This world grieves me. Thank you, Jesus, I love you. ❤✝️

This is amazing! This happened to me too when I was saved - I was waking in the night and Bible verses were coming to me that I hadn’t read in over 20 years that I don’t even remember reading before I was saved! The Holy Spirit is working! Praise God 🎉

Interesting that you brought up the sower and the four soils in this video, I didn’t see this until after my comment on the other video. Funny thing is when I was around 11 years old my parents were taking me and my brothers to Seventh day Adventist church. They are cultish and legalistic and don’t fully teach the truth about Jesus and teach the teachings of a false prophetess Ellen G. White, but one Saturday at church our pastor was teaching out of the book of Matthew about the parable of the 4 soils. I didn’t usually pay much attention to sermons, but I heard this one loud and clear and inwardly I prayed that I was good soil. I wasn’t saved until many years later at age 32, but I still remember times where God used people to prepare my heart to receive His forgiveness and salvation. I pray that God will continue to bless you in sharing His message of peace and love. ❤🙏❤️

I was baptized earlier this month at 37 years old. One thing I've learned in my journey to accept the Lord's gift of salvation, is that to walk with Christ does not mean you'll never sin again. I had a similar experience of receiving the gift of His conviction several years ago. The greatest gift I ever received. I think it's great that you were able to turn from all your sins of drinking smoking fornicating etc. For me, it is a DAILY battle. Yes of course, we turn from sin as much as we're able, but we are merely human. We are all sinners. That is not the covenant we live by. We pray and we battle sin together, but when we slip up, we repent. To me, that is the Gospel. No man was ever blameless or sinless or perfect except for 1. God wants us IN THE BATTLE. You will sin, and continue to sin, because we are all sinners. We are not to be made sinless thru Christ. But that he was the perfect sacrifice for the worlds sins. And that all who believe will have everlasting life. I hear you brother. I want to be sinless and perfect. I really, really do. I struggle, but I continue to pray and I know He is with me.

"Doubting" God isn't sin (20:21) - just wanna clarify. I think the way you phrased it could potentially be misleading. It's taking that doubt and using it as a foundation for turning against Him, trusting the *doubt* over God's Word that *leads* to sin that will just pull you further and further from God and perpetuate more sin. Doubt can be good. Doubt can lead to questions that lead to further investigation into God's character. Don't fear the doubt - God can use it.

I watched your video today because it popped up into my recommended, I have been struggling with doubts and choosing my will over God's. I have been experiencing the Holy Spirit communicating with me for a while now, sometimes I follow, other times I don't. When I heard your story I decided to do the same thing. I asked God "I know you are real, but I have doubts, If you are real let me feel the weight of my sins, let me feel what Jesus felt" And before I could say anything more my legs gave out and I fell flat on my face, I started crying and felt scared. I tried to push myself up but the weight was so much. The more I tried to get up, the more pushed down I got. It only stopped when I said "Jesus help me" and the weight was lifted instantly.
Thank you, I will now work towards getting baptized. It has been on my mind for a while now

I remember coming across Cliffe & Stuart a few weeks after my encounter in the kitchen and I was very grateful for those guys. They helped me contemplate and answer a lot of things at a deeper level.

In my upbringing my family life was hard, as I am older now I realize the things ive always wanted are wholesome things after experiencing things that were not so wholesome like family falling apart and very hard situations often times I got thrown into & suffered greatly from and spirituality, religion & God aside I crave these things but with God it comes to you! You are changed and brought to God and its the way you were meant to be. God bless everyone we all need more of God man.

Wow, I appreciate that! Thanks for sharing that. I have been told by one of my church leaders that he believes I have the gift of evangelism and shepherding as well. I recently took a spiritual gifts test and evangelism was my highest scoring gift.

This video was super good man, I’m 21 and currently having an existential crisis myself, been researching and watching a lot of videos just to like, CONVINCE myself that this stuff is true. It’s weird when you hit a certain age things just start hitting you, like what’s the purpose of life. Because realistically when you become honest and realize that if there is no higher being then to be frank nothing matters other than just living and dying. But I’m trying hard to come to an understanding about this stuff however it’s a journey. Thank you for this video man it’s rare I hear a testimony and can trust what I’m hearing. So thank you ❤️🤝

@@brushfire of course, it spoke to me on a lot of levels. I commented a little early into the video and when I heard the rest of your testimony of how you got conviction and fell to your knees, I had the exact same thing when I started looking deeper into this stuff, I was living with my roommates at the time and long story short I prayed and fell to my knees in conviction and cried for so so long. Almost daily really, and now I don’t really feel that anymore but remembering the experience of that really helps to keep having what little faith I have now. I was smoking a lot of pot as well and when I prayed and asked god to remove that from my life, the very next day when I smoked it was just HEAVY HEAVY conviction, heart pounding and crying. And that experience too really helps me stay focused a little more. God is real man, whatever those experiences were, they’re super natural. And I subscribed as well I’ll be keeping up on your uploads, thank you again for this video man❤️🤝

Wow, we have such a similar story. The moment I was so sick of my life and no amount of money or sex or drugs was fulfilling me, I thought I was in hell… it was an endless cycle. I literally describe being born again as escaping the matrix, most of everything out of there keeps us distracted. Everything of this world is against the truth of Jesus Christ. But ya… Jesus comes for his lost sheep I’ve been seeing a lot of these stories. God bless.

@@brushfire I was Christian since being a kid but I started being more serious about it during the pandemic. Rn I'm trying to prove my brother that God is real, do you have any ideas? I already made the argument that there needs to be an eternal mind (the uncaused cause) that had to "start" everything but he doesn't buy it.
Hmm interesting scenario. I would argue that without God there are no moral absolutes, no true definition of right, wrong, good or bad…Without God being the standard of these things then, as an atheist, you have no ground to stand on when you argue something is unjust, wrong or evil. If you’re an atheist, and you believe we’re all just mutated and evolved cosmic bacteria, then Hitler’s opinion of good is just as valid as MLKJ’s definition of good because it is one evolved bacteria’s opinion vs another evolved bacteria’s opinion.
But, since we do know that there are moral absolutes (because we’re made in the image of God and He has written His laws in our hearts and mind) we know without a doubt that things like murder, oppression, racism, etc are always wrong. An atheist would agree with you that these things are wrong but without a higher standard, a God who defines these things, that atheists has no true ground to make this claim and therefore lives in a false reality. As a theist, you live in a reality that makes logical and moral sense. As an atheist, you live in a world that eventually caves in on itself because it’s a logical fallacy to claim there is no God and no true definition of moral truth, but to act, live and complain about injustices, like there is a true moral standard. Essentially, you have to steal from God’s world to make those complaints.
