Hello everyone, MT here with the usual trainspotting action. The last of the LNER HST’s are almost about to be retired by the Azuma’s before going into storage, therefore, I may want to try and capture any that are still left. Here at Grantham railway station on the East Coast Mainline, the conditions were good enough but not everything went as I planned because neither of the remaining HST’s on its schedule services appeared within my hours’ time there, only a set from Neville Hill appeared on its way to Ely for storage. There was a bright side because the moment I arrived, the first Grand Central train that appeared was running as a ten-car set which is the first I’ve seen the operator do. Along with that, there was the mixture of speeding intercity expresses, a couple of commuter units and a freight. Hope you all enjoy this!
Trains include: LNER Azuma’s, 225 sets and the HST to Ely, Grand Central and Hull Trains 180’s, East Midlands Railway 156’s & 158’s and DB Cargo 66309

It just looks so strange seeing a doubled up class 180
Great photo/video shots .. well done! ...in my opinion, these could be enhanced by "subtitles" to inform us of "what" is going "where"? ... appreciate this may not be simple ... or practicable for you.Thank you for your variety of locations.
Don't know about anyone else but I prefer LNER class 225 set in terms of watching it pass through stations. The roaring class 91 sounds really good

My guesses are that the 2 class 180s split up with one going to Sunderland and one going to Bradford

Wow not everyday you see a 5 car grand central 180 well done! Also since the majority of LNER fleet has been above 5 car trains it's cute to see 5 car trains.
