- I love car camping in my Micro Camper Betty which for me is the perfect stealth camper. She's a 2012 Citreon Berlingo Multispace which functions as a car by day and a stealth camping beast by night.
This is also my first video on this channel so think of this as also an introduction to me. A lot of first videos feature van tours so this is my micro camper tour.

Fab editing John, and great natural presenting style on what is a very versatile camper! I recommend a Jackery or Bluetti / Eco Flow or similar to keep the fridge on all night and take a foldable solar or 12V charging cable to top up. Cheers

Nice. If you added a curtain behind the front seats could help with blackout. Like a rod running across into the fixings in the ceiling.

I have one exactly the same love it but haven’t been camping yet just got a tail gate tent which is cool. The other thing that is good is the back seats un clip and lift out ..

Just loved your video John, Hubby and I are in the process of looking for a Berlingo, but we want the van as I have 3 little dogs so need that bit of extra space. We are not sure yet wether we are going to convert it into a mini camper or just throw in all our camping gear. Whatever, we plan on enjoying ourselves. I just stumbled upon your video but Im now going to subscribe and hope you do many more vid's, your a natural !!

Having just decided to purchase a 2014 Berlingo myself for the purpose of converting to mini camper, I´ve been checking out a number of similar videos, but I absolutely love the options you have here for the sofa/table/bed, drawers, etc. Is there any chance to provide links or plans on how to either purchase or build the units and items you´ve used here? OMG the names! My boyfriends BX is called Betty and my Berlingo's name is Berrie and my first motorbike was called Charlie. Also, want to do the same with Berrie, keep the car function, while also make it a micro camper. Thanks for the video!

Why did you sold the car?
I've got a 2003 Berlingo off of FB Marketplace. She's old and she is 'rustic' should we say, but I LOVE HER. Her name is Cleo - Cleo the Citreon or CC. She's had her problems in the few months I've had her (engine failure etc), but I've got my gas canister in situ and taking her out on the road today and camping over in Surrey. Do you have any tips or whatnot for micro camper life? I brought it converted, but if I hadn't, I'd deffo go for a conversion like this!
Love Betty and great video, I wish I could find someone to build me something like this, I drive London to Italy often with 3 labradors and can't afford a camper van.

Legend! You charge it when you drive - how long can you leave it before you need to charge it again. I’m moving into a van and due to finance I’m converting it over 3months to work and save that type of thing. Whilst living in it. The Jackery is £250 or £500 and now it may seem like into much it’s loads for me and I was thinking to invest in £250 and get a cooler box and cool it as an when needed. Just manage it over a month or so and then upgrade to more consistent power. As you have a micro and this cool box your thoughts would be appreciated

I have to admit I didn’t build it myself, the unit was from a group called redcote leisure and it was very affordable. Really pleased you enjoyed the video

Where did you buy the window blinds? Do they cover the windshield and drivers/passenger window too?
It was a bit thin but actually I grew used to it. I guess you could always get a mattress topper if you were worried? The window covers were from Redcoat Leisure

They were ones ordered through redcoat leisure and they were simply black on one side and reflective on the other. Hope that helps
