This was one of the greatest Heel turns segments I have ever seen. I did not see this coming, this was Brilliant!.. plus Shibata coming in was the icing on the cake.
i'd put this in the top 3 of all-time great heel turns with hogan in 1996 at bash at the beach and barry windham in 1988 when he turned on lex luger and joined the four horseman.

Jay White is trueborn, Tama Tonga is trueborn, Bad Luck Fale is trueborn, Yujiro is trueborn, Gedo/Jado are trueborn, and everyone else in the crew is basically vouched for by a trueborn New Japan star (with Owens coming in during the Devitt/Styles transition when they really just needed a loyal guy to bump). KENTA is ill-fit, tbh; if your aim was the goal, he would've just joined Suzuki-gun

If Shibata can came out and wrecked havoc on Kenta and took a several bumps like that, I thinh there is a high possibility that he could come back to the ring one more time
I hope he doesn't. I know NJPW wouldn't clear him unless he was actually fit to preform. But I wouldn't even enjoy the match. I can honestly say that I'd be too worried the entire time. You have to remember how stiff both wrestlers are...I'd be too scared for Shibata to get hurt. His health comes first. Always.

Kenta joining the BC had me shocked as hell but I legit started crying when Shibata came out and started absolutely wrecking his shit. The man's been "retired" for about 2 years now and there's not an ounce of ring rust on him.
He's retired but he trains both in the US and Japan dojo. He's not missing a beat because he has to keep up with the guys in the ring. The real question is he itching to get back into the ring. My real question would be would he be cleared? Would he work a lighter style?

Definitely. Unless there's some crazy-advanced new technique to treat people who have had subdural hematomas (and could get them again), then he shouldn't be doing stuff like this. I love him, and I wish he was completely healthy, but more so that he can live a normal life than to be a wrestler. If he were able to heal himself fully, that would be one thing...but you don't just come back from subdural hematomas. I just want him to be okay.
William Blackfyre he still had a significant bump to sell for a man with such a serious injury to consider. He should just do promos and give bumps but don’t take any.
I never seen a wrestling promotion so great that it takes blow after blow and still show no sign of slowing down. Every year all their top stars were stolen from them but they were not crushed. First was balor, Aj, Nakamura, Anderson and doc then there was omega, Cody, bucks. Their bullet club angle is gold. With just this angle they managed to get bring more eyes to their product (shout out from India) and also created a platform for the wrestlers to showcase their talent better than all other promotions. Aj was great in TNA but his NJPW run was perfect. Prince devitt was the freaking next big thing in wrestling when he was in NJPW but in wwe he is just another guy who is only stood out by his makeup. Then there is Kenny, bucks, juice who were pushed to their stardom. It fascinating how great a wrestler can be at the hands of NJPW. The long term storytelling, five star caliber matches and the prestige of their championships. They are not perfect but i dare anyone to show any wrestling company better than NJPW
The answer is really quite simple, they know how to create and build heavyweight stars and slot them to where they can headline shows when they need them too and if one guy goes elsewhere, another guy's there to replace him.
Bc they know how to build long term storylines and how to book wrestlers correctly...plus they a amazing farm system of young lions who almost always pan out...this is why i love NJPW!

This was absolutely tremendous storytelling. KENTA turning heel and joining the Bullet Club was unexpected. However, when Shibata ran into the ring and gave KENTA a beatdown, I got super excited. Easily, this was my favourite moment of last night and I look forward to seeing what happens next. P.S Tama Tonga struggling to rip the Takeover t-shirt made me laugh a bit lol.

Okada vs Omega was just a few (all time great classic) matches with only title at stake..none of which involved someone almost dying...the broken Hardys was a great angle but again nobody almost died...Styles had less impact than Prince Devitt in Bullet Club prominence n popularity in Japan..here is a man who can't wrestle , almost died after his last match (which was also an all time great classic) which was the only title shot he received after struggling for 5 years in re-establishing himself in a company which he had left when he was earmarked for greatness in the same company as a 21 year old..and now he has brought his best friend to his company as his best friend was struggling in US and now his best friend has betrayed him...
Plus Suzuki and Shibata are my top two favourite wrestlers of last 10 years..with Lesnar at 3, Daniel Bryan at 4 and ZSJ rounding off my top 5...that's why it's subjective for me
Can never understand how people can say Japanese crowds are quiet, sure they don't pop for entrances but at times during the G1 they were more invested and louder than any wwe crowd i can remember recently.

Can never understand how people can say Japanese crowds are quiet, sure they don't pop for entrances but at times during the G1 they were more invested and louder than any wwe crowd i can remember recently.

Noah時代のKENTAのことはわからないけど彼の現状は正直応援したくなるような良さはなかったし、ブーイングされてもおかしくないしょっぱさだった(個人的に)

そうですね。
この場にジェイがいない（G1決勝が控えていたから当然だが）から何とも言えんが、KENTAはユニットの２番手・３番手に控えるような器じゃないからね。
これまでもBullet Clubはプリンス・デヴィッド→AJスタイルズ→ケニー・オメガ→ジェイ・ホワイトと、新たなカリスマが入るたびにそれまでのカリスマを排除してきた歴史があるからね。（実際は彼らの海外移籍が理由だけどね。）
ジェイは果たしてKENTAを受け入れるかな？
とにかく、BCがまた活性化してきたな。当面はCHAOS＆新日正規軍＆LA道場連合軍との抗争になるけど、これで存在感を失いつつある鈴木軍＆L.I.Jがどう出るか。
ジョン・モクスリーの立ち位置も気になるな。彼が鈴木軍あたりと手を組むと面白くなりそうだが。鈴木軍はデイビーボーイ・スミスJr.が離脱して戦力ダウンしてるからね。
L.I.Jも鷹木が後藤との抗争を通してヘビー転向を表明したけど、L.I.Jはもう一人ヘビー級のメンバーが欲しいところ。ジュース・ロビンソンやトーア・ヘナーレもこのまま正規軍に埋没していいのかって感じるし、正規軍を離脱して自己主張してもいいんじゃないかな？ジュースは次のUSヘビー級の挑戦者が見当たらないし。
なんというかジェイとタッグ(外道も入れてトリオ？)を組める選手がBCにはいないような気がしていたところにKENTAが来たので、英語も喋れるし適任だなあと思ってしまいました。
KENTAとジェイでブーイングを独占していけば、自ずと他のユニットも動きがあるんじゃないかと楽しみにしています。

まあ、KENTAのBC入りで少なくとも石井＆YOSHI-HASHI、盟友だった柴田との間に遺恨が生まれたんで、石井のNEVER王座への挑戦とか、あるいはほかのCHAOS＆正規軍（オカダ・後藤・棚橋・飯伏etc)との絡みにも期待ですね。
あとは、IWGPヘビー・タッグ・インタコンチ・NEVERなどの裏で埋没しているUSヘビー・NEVER６人タッグのベルトに絡むのもありかも。
KENTA＆GOD、あるいはKENTA＆ジェイ＆外道のトリオで６人タッグに挑戦するのも面白そう。
If Shibata having a comeback, I hope he change up his style to Submission a la ZSJ and not trying to get Stiffed up or strong style
