“Even with that white bumper I think it looks great”😂 this would be a comment I would make while building this awesome job man going to be installing this as well thanks for the Video
We don't have anything recorded with that bit. It's pretty easy. This is for a 991 but identical in procedure: ruclips.net/video/outHtSXhrRE/видео.html
Did you get any problems with reinforcement fit? as it looks like GT4 has different shape of the foam part of the reinforcement, not sure about the reinforcement itself.
Do you know if the GT4 Foam energy absorber fits the Cayman S/GTS impact bar? Asking because the part numbers for the S/GTS impact bar is different from the GT4. Any harm if I choose to go without the foam absorber? Someone reported that the bumper can sag without it though I didn’t think it’s intended to support the bumper in any way. Thoughts?
Yes it should fit, probably just a slightly different shape. You can trim your OEM one or run without. We chose to run without ours and have had no issues whatsoever.
Jon @ Flat 6 Motorsports Thanks. Yes tried trimming but it was getting to tedious so went without. My only concern was someone reported a bumper sag without the foam piece but I doubt that was the cause.
$2695 delivered but we opted for the DRLs which added a little bit of cost: flat6motorsports.com/collections/frontpage/products/nr-auto-gt4-front-bumper?variant=2583790583834
Yes, we have done the OEM GT4 bumper swap as well. You'll need the cover, undertray, wheel wells, the grills, ducts, and a bunch of clips. Check on Planet-9 forum for a list of parts or Suncoast sells a full swap kit.
All fun and games until you hit a parking stop block and your fiberglass gets shredded to pieces. Don’t do this guys! This bumper is very expensive not to mention the paint job and labor installing it and getting it to fit, all of that to destroy it in a week.

WOW, that's the thing i would like to do..... you are a TRAILBLAZER man !! 💯💪
More Cayman videos please!
Also what do you think about the tpc racing turbo kit they say it gives 100 WHP
Thats awesome man!
Do you have a video of taking the OEM bumper OFF? Love to see that.

NR Auto's website says the bumper is polyprophylene, the same material as OE. Did they change it?
Yes, they now offer a urethane version.

It's just the foam part that is different. You really don't even need the foam or you can cut it with a dremel so it will form to the GT4 bumper.
I just got a GTS. Do the DRL’s transfer over from the GTS bumper? What about the parking sensors? Can they be transferred over? Thanks.
I believe they are the same PN#
Parking sensors will need to be drilled out of the bumper but pretty easy to do.
Could you swap the gts running light to the 981 cayman s fog light location?
GT4 Front bumper made by an errata😂😂😂, I’m following this entire build to make mine almost identical

The GT4 bumper looks nice. What was cost?

have you compared the price with fully OEM solution? I mean OEM bumper, meshes, etc?
Yes, the OEM solution will run about $5-6K, we've done both. The OEM is great if you are into all the small details.
Any updates since painting and installing?
Nothing major. We need to get another episode up showing the completed project. Looks great!
Im thinking about fitting a real gt4 bumper is it possible for my cayman 981 2.7

Personally I much prefer the base and S front bumper. I think the the GTS and GT4 front bumpers look plain stupid.
