Your videos are always so entertaining because of your drumming style. Some nitpick the technique but they dont understand that efficient playing is boring to watch. People feel more involved with your style of playing. So keep doing what you're doing and ignore the haters!
@@mooncalf_4534 lots of drummers are like oh she's moving too much using too much energy not just using her wrists. Using whole arms too much blah blah blah. They fail to understand that she's an ENTERTAINER. She's not performing on stage for a 6 hour concert. The big grand and epic movements are much more entertaining than the perfect form alternative. People want to feel engaged and like she is enjoying playing herself. Because then they resonate with the artist. Anyways there will always be those haters but it's best to just ignore them. If they can't understand the importance of being entertaining as an ENTERTAINER there's no hope for them.

I mainly looked up to Dave Grohl, Lars Ulrich, Neil Peart, and Danny Carey growing up. As I went in highschool and got a bit of teenage angst alongside more awareness of music, I decided to relisten to Slipknot. Used to think they sounded too heavy for me, but I then realized how great Joey was. Between hearing melodic stuff from Corey like Snuff, Vermilion pt. 2, From Can to Can't (his solo stuff with Dave Grohl), Bother (by Stone Sour), and hearing how Joey made all the blazing guitar riffs make rhythmic sense to me with his insanely fast playing and his footwork is what bridged me into listening to them. As someone who is now almost obsessed with Slipknot, this cover is so clean and spot on to the original. Well done 👍
