Seems like Timo has consumed some alcohol products =) Ok first of all, not everyone hates Tarja in Finland. I guess there are some, but why do they ask her to be part of Finnish Heavy Christmas tour, if she is such a bitch? Same tour with Marko Hietala and Floor Jansen (+many others). When people are arguing, they can say things, that they really don't mean, right? I think they both (Tarja, Tuomas and whole Nightwish) made mistakes and said things they didn't meant to. Tarja was pissed of all the partying and smokey busses and backstages (even I would...I have asthma like Tarja has). Guys obviously hated her husband, and that was probably one of the biggest issues, because Tarja loved him.

as soon as he said "Tuomas told me" I had to stop believing the guy (drunk or not), there´s always 2 sides in every story and coin, and he´s second hand in this
I agree with you, also when you listen to Tarja in the interview you can easily see how sweet she is, and Tuomas is totally the opposite. When Tuomas talks in the interviews it's too evident that he's an arrogant asshole
@@adolfoalbornoz3730 these famous people have their masks they put on everytime they talk in media so they look like nicest and most warm hearted people in the world.. it's the part of their profession to look kind and likeable at all times.. I think Tuomas is one of those few who don't give a fuck and are just being themselves :-) just my opinion..

Tarja is very sweet (but in the interviews when everyone can watch) but to make a whole band who are your friends from the childhood (or some of them) to decide to fire you means a lot at least for me. Because everyone blames Tuomas but it was unanimous decision and inspired by Marco as he said himself. Making your childhood friends to fire you means was the last straw. Sorry but I don't trust the facade..

Even Timo, in this interview, says that Tarja was always nice to him... Still he prefers to believe in others' stories, and that's how intelligent he is... Ridiculous!
Tarja is always kind to her fans, her interviews aren't poisonous, her concerts are Amazing, her last album is her Best, that is My personal experience.
Plus, I know people from Finland that told me Tarja is very popular there, and her albuns sell a lot in Finland - Facts.
So I don't give a f*ck about an open letter from someone too coward to solve problems by talking (nobody gets dismissed from any decent job like that), and I don't believe this drunk guy who is trying to be know by saying he is friends of a much greater musician than him (Tuomas).
BTW, How many people told me bad things about my working colleages? ... So many!
Still they are great work colleages to me, and I won't stop to trust them, and to believe the opposite just because someone made a story out of it, that would be immature.
Trust is something that YOU build and YOU can take away too, it is not something others should build or destroy for you... But you need to have a serious personality and values (and many people don't have that).
This interview is sh*t! And unfortunately some people still find it easier to hate and judge others (the "other one" being dissed can always turn to be "you" in the future) ... How sad!

Thank you for your answer, I checked out the link you sent, I didn't knew Tolkki had apologized after (it was way after I wrote my comment). Well I'm glad he did the right thing!
I follow Nightwish's music since a long time (2004) and I follow Tarja's career (specially her latter works which are the better ones), having been to concerts from both, bought CDs, etc...
So as you imagine It sadden me these kind of comments which were oppening a wound that is been taking so long to heal!
Music should be above all this!

Okay, I believe they had some problems together but I don't 100% believe that letter, because some things what they said about her are lies. However I respect the boys from Nightwish, but I don't accept they made that childish letter for her and made it public. Most Tarja haters are sexists (woman haters) and she doesn't deserve any hate.

@@Fenrir1409 Well, Tarja seems so nice and I heard from many people who have met her she was so nice to them. And many musicians loves to work with her. So people who said Tarja is an egoistic diva are liars, sexists and toxic. And I can tell the truth Tarja was so nice to me too. I commented on her post on Instagram and she answered my comment with so nice words. Also I saw her live and she said "Hey" with a smile when she came to the audience. My friend also have met Tarja and she said it was amazing to meet her. And yeah, musical artists are humans too. You're right on that. There's some artists who are mean to the fans, but Tarja is not one of them. I can say Justin Bieber was so mean to the fans when he was addicted to the drugs, did some illegal things ect. in 2014. But some people who were blamed to be mean are not mean.

This guy has a bad mouth. People like him, no matter how great they are in their job, are the ones everybody avoids at work. I know this kind of people. They are toxic. (Because even if some things he is saying would be true, it shows a low character to spread them during a public interview).
He apologised in a recent podcast and said he was so drunk that he didn't know what he was saying, and that naming Sonata Arctica was a lie. That he cringed watching it himself, later.

Selling merch and tickets behind their backs on the southamerican tour apparently, which seems like a bold statement given that he was the southamerican tour promoter.

@@MrRoziuke It's complicated, but usually bands seek out promoters that will carry the cost of putting the whole show together and they will come to a monetary arrangement, either the band getting a portion of the ticket sales or getting a fixed paid amount no matter the ticket sales, etc and then the promoter side is the one responsible for carrying out the ticket sales and promotion of the show, etc. So unless they had a different specific contract, the promoter would be selling the tickets, not the band. What could maybe be handled by the band and not the promoter is vip packages but that also depends on arrangement, so maybe Timo could be referring to that? But either way, if there is a misunderstanding and you thrown in the fact that the band already had internal turmoil, then you create the recipe for disaster and probably a bunch of things could have been said that aren't neccesarily true, but that would be for the band and management to know I guess, not us nor Timo.

Tarja is unforgettable here in Finland and many people in Finland loves her. I'm from Finland and I love her and I know many Finnish Tarja fans too.
Sorry but all bandmembers had a problem with Tarja not only Tuomas and you can see it on stage, it was so different with Annette and Floor, with Tarja it was not a band, they were various people, but with Floor it is one band, playing with each other and have fun on the stage.
Dont blame it all to Tuomas. Good we listen behind stage. And is it not enough that Tuomas has killed himself on stage, because of the fans ?.
They had problems with Anette too. And your argument is bullshit. Tarja was a member of the band and they made 5 albums and amazing performances with her. With Tarja and Anette they were a band too!
