Nice, can't wait to see this on my dog!
Dude you are the only RUclipsr that's actually saying, how the air tags can actually cause a temptation for someone to steal your stuff, I thought that would be something really important that almost anyone that's talking about them should be mentioning that important detail but ironically they're not, I always had a saying, don't advertise if you're not selling. That's one reason why I like tile because it's more discreet and you can get it in Black, it's not as convenient as the Apple Air tag but you don't have to worry about, hey look at me I'm an Apple product lol.
OMGS your lumiy lamp is crazy good
I preordered the 4 pack. I’m going to attach:
• 1 to my head for when I lose my mind
• 1 to my fan for when I lose my cool
• 1 to my gears for when I lose my momentum AND
• 1 to a clock so I don’t lose track of time
😂😂😂😂🤣
Nice
if anyone buys that hermes case theyre really using the airtags to track their hermes leather case
If they can afford the Hermes; their knickers cost more than your car. Finding a suitcase with a Hermes tag is a thief's dream.
😂😂😂😂
Lol I love when there’s an Apple event; lots of videos to watch 😄
I’m planning to attach to my medical device because it’s the size of an AirPod and I carry it around everywhere and always lose it 😂
If I lose my phone somewhere in the house I just yell “Hey Siri, turn off bluetooth! “ Because I probably have headphones connected, then yell “Hey Siri, change volume to 100%! “ She’ll ask “that is very loud, are you sure?” I often find it at this point. But if I didn’t hear her I’ll just yell “yes”. Finally yell “Hey Siri play Deathbox by Mnemic!” I mean if you can’t hear this song at 100% volume the phone is probably in the car. 😂
I was like.... but if you’re wearing headphones why do you need to yell.... then remembered there are other headphones besides AirPods 😂
@@christophercrawford2736 haha yeah if I have my bluetooth headphones connected it won’t play songs through the iPhones speakers unless they get disconnected or the output source is switched. Haha, I was just joking about that convoluted story of how I find my phone though. Usually I just destroy whatever room I was in looking for it and then have to put everything back 😂
@@turtleinashirt I was referring to “Hey Siri”
@@christophercrawford2736 oooh 😂 I need to wake up lol. Yeah I guess if I had them in my ears (or on me somewhere) I wouldn’t have to yell huh lol
I'm putting one inside an emergency med kit, so people at home can find them quickly in an emergency. It definitely will help my older family members and the younger ones if they need to find the meds soon for cuts, grazes, etc. And one more inside the essential toolkit box, again for family to find them without having to ask me all the time.
I just wanna know what that object in the back moving around is because I need one
Luggage? At least you will know your bags are on the flight and are coming off the plane!!
oh my god this is genius why didn't I get more than one 😂
Love this channel!!!
“Who loses their car?” 😂
Is there a way to find your AirPods Pro if they are in the case?
Very interesting thoughts and info! Thanks!!!
Just ordered two for keys and work lanyard, which are the things I misplace the most. Good price point has drawn me in.
Hey great video man. Exactly what I was looking for. I’ll be using for my keys and possibly for my wallet which this disc can fit in. Keep up the great work.
Nice info and considerations, thanks!
How about using them to precision find Airpods when they can't be found at home?
thanks for bringing up the idea with family sharing - this indeed is a usecase for my dog 🐺
Chris, Thanks. I might have missed it but what are your 3 ideas for using air tags?
I'm a long time Tile user and looking forward to switching over to the AirTag. I currently have 7 tiles in used - one in my work backpack, wallet, work ID, Nintendo Switch case, small camera gear bag, Skullcandy Venue over the ear headphones (built-in), and yes…one in the rear map pocket in my car. I just ordered one Air Tag today and can't wait to give it a try.
Great Video, thank you!
What’s that moving thing on the background?
Looks cool and would love one.
Same, I really want to know what it's called!
I need that info too! Tell us what it is please!
@@MusicBoxStudiosAJ It's a kinetic energy sculpture (swinging sticks)
Great advice Chris like the videos 💯👏
Glad you think so!
Great info. Love your Shiba
Great video! 🥳
You might be able to setup geofencing through IFTT. It controls my lights to turn on and off when I leave my home Wi-Fi.
Omg, that umbrella! 😂😂
Thanks for this video! After watching it I realized that I don’t need it at all. Just saved me $99 (+accessories). Thanks!
I constantly lose a sock in the wash. Should I buy an air tag?
Great info! Theft location would be a helpful feature.
I think when parents are thinking to use this for a child, they're thinking busy theme park, mall, airport act ect. i think the airtag is perfect for these situations. anyone got any thoughts on that ? (i just purchased one for that exact scenario)
I just order two they are shipping one with a few days but if you get 4 pack it will be shipped out in june so I did two and I get the red leather keychain this will be first item like this one for my keys and the other for my tech bag
just came across your site and was transfixed by the moving sculpture in the background. Can you tell us where that came from? Oh, good video BTW....thx

I'm living in Berlin (Germany) and everyday I have to find a parking spot for my car (everyday it's somewhere else), then get the kids home, and it's our family car, so my wife needs to know where it's parked, I have no time to open any kind of app to store location. I'm hoping the an AirTag can help us here, let's see...
It’s said that only 1 device can track the location of an airtag and that’s the iPhone that it’s paired with. If so, they may not provide you with the solution you’re looking for.
Is it safe to attach an AirTag to my suitcase when its in the luggage area in the plane when its high up in the sky?
Safe?
That fidlock on the dog collar is a great idea!
Actually I’m loosing my hair and less frequently my mind: Where to put an AirTag Pro (need the ultimate device)?
Can someone clarify if after 3 days of not being in touch with the owner, the tags will only start to beep when they are moving? Otherwise they don’t make any sense to attach to a bike in my opinion
Yeah that’s what I think too
Sorry didn’t understand if my dog is lost and say 2miles away can I track where he is
Didn’t understand from your video
There are lots of Apple TV remote cases with lanyard holes in the corner. You could always loop an airtag in there.
As much as I hope for Apple to work with more of my favourite tech youtubers (your channel included!) for early product reviews, I really appreciate all the deep thought that goes into content like this, when the focus is not on unboxing and showing off the basic features. It’s not the most glamorous but hope you know it’s absolutely crucial and meaningful content that you’re creating!
Hey, cool! I appreciate the support!
eyyy my boy Archie made it into your video! The Shiba lol
You always ask the complicated questions and possibilities of a product, unlike other RUclipsrs who just show it off. Keep it up, well done.
I appreciate that!
I have been using tiles for several years. I have one on each of my two car keys and one on my house key. I have one on my briefcase and one on each of two different suitcases. They work well. I have two reasons why I purchased 4 AitTags. The first is Apple’s much larger network and the second and really biggest reason is you can’t have an AirTag find my iPhone by pressing it twice. This might seem strange until you know why. Because I don’t like bulky pockets I have my house key in one front pocket and the car key I’m driving in my other front pocket. I don’t know how many times, but a lot, I have accidentally triggered the find my iPhone tile feature my accidentally resting my hand on my pocket and ringing my iPhone. This is extremely embarrassing in church or a meeting. I contacted tile and there is no way to turn this off. At least you have to press the tile twice to activate this feature but it has happened too times over the years I’ve had tiles. Thanks for your video!
Can you charge it?
That is my issue..all I can think of are my keys to use the air tag for. And they stay in my bag because I have keyless entry so that is even an iffy use for it. Great idea just not sure how really useful it is .
I see what you’re saying with the watch. But I’m not spending 300 bucks for each child. If the kids carry a tag only when they are out, if we get separated they can use it to get help from someone at a store or police officer. Not used for stalking them.
Love it
What about buying it to find your house?
My issue with an airtag dog collar is you can’t leave the tag on your dog because (at least for me) when I go to the store It would start pinging all the neighboring apartments when my dog moves. I guess having to take it on and off when going out is better than nothing but thats still kinda annoying, it would only take forgetting it once to get some bothered neighbors.
Unless I’m misunderstanding how that safety feature works?
It won't start pinging all your neighbors because they wouldn't be close enough for their phones to register as the tag following them. And he said that it starts sending notifications and beeping after 3 days away from your iPhone.
Thanks for making this video... I appreciate you! May God, always bless you...
Bought a 4 pack and 2 Belkin keychains as I don’t care about the design of that but only the functionality of the AirTags themselves
Will get the airtags 4 pack.
My keys I just ordered air tag can’t wait to get it. and now I can’t find my keys 🥺
Can I put one in my car? When I go to the mall I always forget where I parked
So what happens if you are with someone who gets an alert that an air tag is following them only to find out that it’s your airtag on your keychain? If it doesn’t recognize who it belongs to then couples may have an ongoing problem with this.
There is a setting somewhere I think it won’t affect people you set. It’ll also only notify the person is you are not with the airtag
@@thomasmonaghan4202 that would be a big help. Thanks!
@@CR25325 No Problem. I am pretty sure that this is a thing from what other people have said especially RUclipsrs so I may not be correct. But that’s what I think
we need rechargeable like nonda key finder
and
i want protect my scooter from thief but must apple stop notifications ther is airtage in my scooter
6:45 My mom already tracks me using my phone via family share 😅
It can still be used for stolen items. 3 days is a lot of time. Might not be perfect but it’s worth a try for only $30 a piece
Use Velcro to stick Air Tag on remotes!!!
Replying to that first guy where he said the situation about the car, I’d use an airtag to put it in my car to remember where I park. For example if I’m at the grocery store or at a big event and I park at 1 of several parking lots at downtown or if I park in a parking garage or if I park somewhere where I’ve never been I might need the airtag in those situations
Right, but most people who are looking at an Apple tag already have an iPhone, and like he said, you can already use Apple Maps to get back to your car.
@@TryMyMartini how can u use Apple Maps to get back tho?
who else cant stop watching the thing in the back
It would be cool if apple allowed a setting change to stop the chirping so it’s better for stolen items (like a backpack).
Also what’s the item on your left? It’s dope!
Here you go: geni.us/lgSBBQ (affiliate link)
@@Dailytekk thanks!
@@Dailytekk that’s a great idea but the issue is thieves can use that to their advantage to stalk u. For example, he can place the airtag in your pocket or bag and he would automatically turn off the beeping
If I have an android phone and an apple airtag on me, how do I receive the notification that someone is tracking me?
You won’t get a notification. You can use NFC if you discover it to learn more or after a while it will start beeping.
@@Dailytekk it doesn’t sound privacy friendly. For 3 days I can be tracked.....
You make me go for a Nespresso too
How about in a multi-story parking lot. I’ve lost my car in many parking lots.
In order for the car thing to work in maps it would need Bluetooth which my car doesn’t have.
Got just one for my keys as in the past I’ve miss placed them or lost them and not only did I lose time but also years of my life from stress 😂😂
Imagine giving one to your grandma/pa that likes to take long walks by themselves or whatever
Buying one for my car since I forget where I park sometimes
Use apple maps
I can't find a single video that talks about AirTags and non-U1 chips-iPhones... How useable the Airtag will be with them ?
Just won’t get precision finding feature if I’m not mistaken
HEY WHAT is the device spinning behind you!!!?
next video: How to make airtags extra worth it
😂
I hope to see the followpaw collar to have another version that has the 1 that covers the front legs too.
I am not a fan of that collar design. The canine gets choked at times. 🥲
I use an app called Phone Buddy. It monitors the distance between your Apple Watch and your iPhone. The app uses the Bluetooth signal strength to estimate distance, and I’ve found that it’s pretty accurate. Core features of Phone Buddy are free, and the premium features are a reasonable cost if you want them.
Back when I went to work in the office, I used to always leave my iPhone in my work area when I’d go to a meeting or to lunch. Phone Buddy saved me more times than I can recall.
Put them on tour drones to find them in tall grass or dense terrain
Who loses their car? (Insert me walking out of a mall having no recollection of where I parked)
I still don’t get how does it prevent stalking. Isn’t it the same principle as putting the AirTag on the dog’s collar?
If it’s not near the phone that was linked to & understands that is following another iPhone(ex. to avoid same car travel) it will alert that phone.
@@vasilist6965 This is assuming that the dog/victim has an iOS device.
@@realStefanLowe it will start ringin after 3 days so yeah in between and not with an iPhone yes
Velcro the tag to the remote
I need one to track my package of cookies.
The thing I don't understand is, Apple shows people putting them on their bike. In that sense, you can put it on a car in the same way. (it's in their graphics on their website)
Is there a reason that the tag needs to be inserted into a pouch and then attached to some thing? Could you not just toss it into your backpack and nobody would know it’s there?
Can definitely just toss it in. But the AirTag reveals itself in multiple ways if it doesn't detect your iPhone nearby.
@@Dailytekk ; Are you saying that if I go out for the day and leave my backpack at home, that it will sound-off because my phone is no longer close to the tag in my backpack?
@@Itsme-vo4fx He said it takes 3 days for it to start beeping
Number 1 use case has to be for my work ID badge, which I lose 10 times a day. Or I did, when I worked in an office.
$29 for an AirTag and $79 for a sticker to track a $10 water bottle?
Good point😉
Or how far away your bag is when you’re waiting for it at baggage claim
It’s still a Bluetooth device and will suffer from Bluetooth interference. It won’t pop up on your phone til it’s on the carousel.
@@anekinoo7 if the people working at the airport have iphones it will pop up as it moves
Weirdly, I must ask how you know that dog collar is “comfy to wear”?
The company went through multiple iterations and changed the placement of the components so that if a dog pulled against the leash it wouldn’t be uncomfortable... (no plastic or hard pieces digging into dog’s neck)
@@Dailytekk oh, I thought you discovered a way to discuss with your dog!! Hey, I’m from NJ so I’m compelled to be a wise guy. Love your videos.
Does anyone worry about the only 40 foot range?
It seems that Apple uses iPhones other than yours to help find Air Tag... but how efficient or useful it is, we have to wait and see!
The 40 foot range is only for the precision tracking, but you can still see your item in the find my map
Apple Air Tags are amazing, thank you for sharing. mobeleash
Car theft is huge now
I do have an uncle who has Alzheimer's. I wonder if I could stitch this into his shirt (somewhere just below the back neck. He's already been lost twice in the past and I had to stitch my phone number and address on his shirts.
Awww try it
I don’t understand why I couldn’t put an AirTag on my bicycle in the event that someone took it I should be able to track it within hours. Particularly if the AirTag was hidden.
The AirTag reveals itself in multiple ways if it doesn't detect your iPhone nearby. There IS actually a bike with built in Find My support coming though...
You’re the only who said it. This is not meant to track stolen items.
Every youtuber ebout airtag: that's definitely not gonna fit in my minimalist wallet
Me: well its gonna fit at least in my regullar wallet
Ikr? Not everyone has a minimalistic thin wallet 😂
I mean I was thinking of putting one in my car. Incase it gets towed or I guess stolen. But eh idk. I bought 1 for my keys. Was thinking of getting the 4 pack for my luggage, dog, my car and my purse.
no its dumb lol. cant think of a time ever thinking man i wish i had a tracker on something when lost. im mot putting that on my keys itll make it even bulkier in my pocket
Me always looking at pendulum😂🤣😍😍😍
I'll get one for my wallet. I use a HiDesign wallet with coin pouch, so it'll be a good fit for me. And one for my keys.
It's pretty thick for a wallet though.
@@OHCAM5 I'll have to get the coins out I guess 🙃 If it doesn't fit, will use it for keys.
This doesn't apply to everything in life but in general if you have to ask why you should buy something then save yourself some money. SAVE SOME MONEY.
I'm sorry but I'm always losing my car. In huge car parks or weird streets. I've tried the apps and they're not great so when I saw this. It was my first thought.
Apple/google maps mark your parking
Maybe air tags won’t be allowed to be switch on airplanes journeys.
I don’t think so..because they are made more for suitcases then keychain..I think 🤔
