While most songs by Akira are good, songs like this make you cry because they touch you unlike 99% of songs out there, even if they're subjectively good in their own context.
This reminds me of when I took a short job doing flooring. At one point the boss leaves and it's just me (couldn't speak Spanish then) and the other dude there (he couldn't speak English then). Communication was difficult and frustrating, and at some point we had to resort to gestures and "yes/no" to work together... but we find a radio at some point and turn it on. Turns out he liked some of the same music I did and we ended up singing together. We didn't have much in common, or so I thought, not even a common language, but it didn't matter. Words aren't necessary to know how great it feels to belt out the chorus of a song you like. There are some things about existence that every person understands, across culture and language and time. I'm grateful I got to witness something like that personally. The sound of the rain needs no translation.
DEFINITIVELY one of the very best songs by the Great Akira The Don. Jesus man, you have really changed my life. I have been listening to your music since 2020 and every single day since then I have been hearing your music at least once a day. You are really a fundamental part of my everyday meditations. I am absolutely convinced that God is with you, and through you, and you. My friend Akira, you are it! Greetings and love from Mexico!
The best part of all these songs, is honestly Akira singing in the background. I can't tell you how many days I find myself singing to the chorus along with Akira. Absolutely beautiful piece Akira. Thank you for everything you have given us. Meaningwave exists 🌊🌊🌊
this video is speechless! I can't even talk about how awesome it is and how underrated! I can't compliment this video more because The Sound of the Rain Needs No Translation...
@@akirathedon if had any idea how much of your stuff I've been streaming lately. Just this morning I was weeding the garden to the Clockwork Elves about three times in a row.
Its funny, the second I heard the words "The sound of the rain needs no translation" I both understood it completely, but at the sometime I'm still pondering its meaning, it a quote that embodies itself, and I have no idea what that means either...
Would you consider putting the "lyric" parts on a loop or an extended type of mix (existence is relativity/sound of the rain). Watt's voice and the music feel like a comforting lullaby.
"You could use any book" thats why I respect Zen the most as an ideology, it cuts through all the bullshit even the worst bullshit of them all RELIGION!
The wave travels, the rain falls, the human being.

This is probably the most inspiration song you've released.
This is the bread of life.
Thank you Gary

i listen to this every time i do shrooms
I cry not because the void is empty, but because it's filled with people unknowing of their full potential, and stepping away from it.

This is the best creation of yours. Everytime I listen, I forget myself, I forget what I'm listening and just get lost in the rhythm of music.

Thanks Akira! I love your work, hope your finding flow these days, encountering beauty and meaning. 🙏🌌
Thank you 😊 this is beautiful
YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL! 🌊🙏🌊
I use your music to help people and I wish I could explain to the extent that I mean that, but then I would risk vanity.

Does anyone knows where can I find full lecture?
The sound of the rain is meaningless, or to put it another way, it is the meaning of life.
💜
the sound of rain is full of so much meaning. at least plants think so

Hey man have you ever thought of doing a Ravi Zacharias one?
I'd listen to that for days 👌
