The studio I went to last year had these in their rack -- BEST DELAY I'VE EVER USED so far in my career

Could listen to the chorus with dirt all day. To me, it’s such a pleasing sound. 🤘🤘🎸🎸

I love many things about the 2290, but at the top of my list is just how incredibly clear the tones are. Every string and note gets articulation. It's a wonder.

You're very welcome Leon! Glad you're enjoying the 2290 modulation settings! I'm using similar ones on songs in production for my next album.

The 2290 makes my entire rack work. Those beautiful converters give my rack system a gorgeous 3d sheen that wouldn’t be there without it.
…I just wish I had more room in my house so my rack didn’t have to live in storage all the time 😢

that Modulated Delay setting, bazinga 🙌 really cool with the clean parts, nice squeezing in a bit of Landau in there as well

Think you can do a 2290 pedal vs SDE-3000 pedal video? I’m satisfied with my SDE pedal but I’ve grown up using the Flashback and loving the TC Electronic sound, so I don’t know if I should save up money for the 2290p or not

I can't believe the depth of this box, and Leon, I apologize for this long comment..I was a live and studio guy for yrs working with guys like Legendary Bob Johnston, (Dylan, Simon & Garfunkel, Cash) Allen Tousaint, (you name it) Terry Brown (Rush) Rupert Hine (Tina Rush) Daniel Lanois to name a few.. I played guitar for Chris de Burgh for about 10 yrs, 82 till about 93... and going from small Seymour Duncan convertibles with TC pedals ...to a full out Bradshaw-ish rack with a couple of Eventide H 3000's a TC 5000 and Mesa and Marsh speaker simulators ...on and on ..with a mitigator control pedal which made that whole mess a walk in the park...It really did sound great but not as good as your 'one' effect LOL..and In those days we were headlining in Germany for up to (200,000 plus) no shit!! with U2, and others of that caliber as support acts..Ive had stage fright my whole life so you can imagine my fears LOL....but enough about me, let's talk about my movie ha ha ......Leon I must say that that 2290 to me was like a cave man witnessing a f..king UFO just and you sir are a miracle of a player... thanks for keeping us all up to date especially old farts like me ... yours truly Danny McBride ❤

Dude do some more ADA videos ! You should checkout the ADA MONSTERCAB MOD , its the microcab modded with selectable load for heads and poweramps , the cab emulations are a tad shitty, however if you leave all teh cab buttons out you get the "secret" mode which has an excellent cabinet sim sound. Hi control to emulate mic position on/off cone and Thump control for distance from grill / proximity effect . I sold mine then bought it back , it smokes the sound of Impulses , however you can also use it as a load only, bypass all cabinets, and run your signal into axe fx / pc to load impulses if you wish !

How about a video about the backside of that thing...there's 4(!) FX-loops, midi, some ancient computer stuff...that would be interesting! The coolest piece of gear ever! Wish i had one...🙂

On the topic of rack delays (and delay pedals), can anyone weigh in on a comparison between the Strymon Dig and a Korg SDD rack delay?

    • @LeonTodd

Hey Leon It’s Danny McBride …. I’m not the most technically savvy guy on the planet, in order to stay in touch should I leave my email here? Would that be safe? Lol … I have a TV show in the works and would love to share details with you ( for your ears only)
    Hope you understand 🌈😅

Save up a little more and grab yourself a pair of PCM 42's. You can always get the 2290 reissue in pedal form, but doubt you'll want to after hearing the PCM 42 in its full glory!
