ISRO just fulfilled the mission objective of landing on South pole of moon of chandrayaan 2, and made both chandrayaan 2 & 3 fully successful. So if vikram lander was completely resistant to freezing and dust that will fly up when lifting off, does that mean it could survive for decades on the moon jumping like 40cm or so per day on moon?
How long would it last there as there is no air or moisture or such things to spoil the lander?

The problem is minus 200°C for continuous 14 days . That is a temperature of liquid nitrogen. Imagine keeping lander in a big pot of liquid nitrogen for 14 days and expect to operate again ????

@@Ultrainstincte massive/slight mistake in your temperature.
Massive mistake if this is also same or similar on lunar pole at night:
It's-130°C at night (like 2x the lowest temp recorded on earth, 130°C at day, like 2x the hottest day on earth)
Slight mistake: if you meant it in farhenight(rip spelling) it's 250°F or -208°F.
It's not nearly as bad as liquid nitrogen level temperature. Technology for this does exist. I asked whether lander would survive for long/forever if this was on vikram lander.

Kya is hop experiment se jo dust particles udenge wo rover ko aur uske solar panel par koi damage to nahi karenge....kyunki landing k kuch ghante baad hi rover nikla gaya ttha fearing dust particles.....
Lets see ki rover moon ki night k baad fir se activate hota hae ki nahi....hope for the best 👍🏼
