@kylecook4206 what a clever one you are...the podcast which is made up of mainly Uniteds trophy winning generation talk about United. Not like every other podcast in the UK does the same 🥴
Djed Spence is an amazing shout for an England cap. He not only takes the place of Walker/Trippier but also provides excellent cover at LB. Also hasn't put a foot wrong when drafted in to CB as an emergency solution or a back 3
I loved how zidane not only controlled it but used the touch to put the ball to where he wanted it to go, under pressure from sometimes multiple players. In doing so he also totally took the ball out of reach from the those players and he was off and already had his attack plan started. Genius and a joy to watch. Love these pod casts also. And since it’s been bought up, saw Shearer for Blackburn vs Palace and he was awesome. Saw him many times after and he was always just a force of nature. Could hear him shouting at his wingers from across the ground.
You're romanticizing it. Zidane usually looked good escaping pressure by going away from goal and passing it sideways or backwards. Then he'd move up the pitch where he was more useful, and wait for the ball. His game was much more reactive than anything planned.
Gary you won’t remember , you were recording a walker crisp advert with ally McCoist in a little town called lyre in Kent . I was a young kid playing football and there you were throwing crisps over your shoulder , and volleying the packet into the bin 😂😂😂😂😂I don’t even think it ever aird I can’t remember but always stuck it’s me 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Day of the Jakel is brilliant. I won't spoil it. People say the books are better than the films I enjoy reading, always have done Dayvof the Jakel is now on my list of books I'd like to read Anyway keep up the great 👍 work. Love the pod KRO💙
I'm a Newcastle fan and Shearer was fantastic, loved him but I'll tell you what, Malcolm MacDonald was the best I've ever seen up here. He wasn't too bad at Arsenal either. From 1969 util his injury in 1978 he scored at least 24 goals a season, most of those in the top flight. He scored 5 in one game for England too and should have had way more caps. Also, he was and still is the fastest centre forward I've ever seen, had he been playing today he would have been worth £200million minimum.
I would like to have it put on record that I am a Manchester United fan! Has been since '92, after I found out that our brilliant keeper Peter Schmeichel, that won us (Denmark) the euros that summer, was playing for them. And I have been ever since. I am however also a football nerd and love records and odd bits of knowledge. Like Southampton maybe "besting" Derby to an all time low points tally.
Mahrez definitely has the best first touch. Zidane and berbatov both definitely massively bigger and better players but mahrez wins when it comes to first touches
Not sure about Berbatov over Mahrez. Both Berba and Zidane had greater individual moments, but Mahrez was the most reliable player out of the 3. Replace Mahrez with Zidane, and Leicester don't win the league.
Alan was about the best there has been in the prem, and it's only right he answers the questions as he sees it. In fact I think he was being slightly modest saying in the 30's.
any team (wrexham) can spend their way up to the championship but then your spending to get there bites with PSR & makes prem promotion really difficult hardest part is then surviving 2 prem seasons & establishing like brentford, bournemouth, brighton etc
Why doesn't Alan count his 23 goals in the top flight before the start of the Premiership towards his tally of top division total goals|? ..... Lovin' the show ..... How about getting Roy Keane on? ..... Just a thought
Do you think Kevin de Bruyne's constant injuries, and the loss of Rodri are the easiest expelantion of City's fall.? If Livertpool lose Trent Alexander-Aranold can you see a similar fall from grace? --Tyler from China/Japan。
If we’re *JUST* talking first touch, it’s unquestionably Berba. His first touch is better than any footballer’s I’ve ever seen…not named Diego Maradona
Micah is so cool, I would love to meet him and have a drink and just talk about anything.. Alan and Gary are really cool also but Micah is funny as fk.
I'm not even a Geordie fan and even I know the question to Alan should have been... How would that team of the 90's have done and how many would he score? “And in the end, they went with Zabaleta!” 😂😂😂
Love how Alan just knows he was an unbelievable striker. What a guy
He was world class tbf
@@LeftWinger9unplayable for many years
I like the confidence...as a utd fan.. Can't even argue. No need for humbleness he was the best St prem has ever seen.
The list of strikers he kept out as well, ferdinand, cole, wright, fowler, collymore, sutton
confidence is key and man backed it up to the fullest
I thought Micah was going deep sea diving but it's his glasses 😂😂😂 another great episode and laugh
I can't unsee it now 😂😂

All three of your heads have completely fallen off in this pod and I am here for it! This banter is top tier 😂
Nothing better as a man than mentioning random nostalgic footballers and going ooooohhhhhh
👀
Ahahaha Ryan babel
Win-Won Soon is my favourite. He’s that Asian wonderkid being scouted by any top club on a run of trophy-less seasons
Love the pod guys! Always such a good dynamic 🫶🏼
I am new to it but they seem so authentic man. The chemistry between them is great.
@@tumelolesale9826make sure you watch all the old ones too. Brilliant pod.
Love the q&a episodes guys! You are like Cole Palmer from the spot. You never miss!
These guys are just unbelievable. Love this show.
The Berbatov disrespect…
Unreal
Always underrated.
Not surprised, Shearer still hates United 😂
@@pgc99 zidane best first touch of all time
Great player but mahrez and zidane both got a better first touch
The rest is football - Banter, Laughs & Fun.
The Overlap - Arguing, talking over each other and Huel Adverts
The Overlap - Manchester United PR
ok, ok enough of the comparisons now. Both offer something different to the other. Both have their pros and cons.
@@lotuseater7247I'm going to guess they are salty Arsenal fans 😂
@@jordonsmith1371Not an Arsenal fan. But it is objectively a more boring heavily United based podcast

I can’t imagine there’s a single pundit or commentator who’s looking forward to having to pronounce Kvicha Kvaratskhelia regularly
Everyone had to say his name in the euros...I'm sure they will be fine
It looks harder than it is
Once you’ve said it a few times it weirdly rolls off the tongue
Micah looks like he’s in the middle of an opticians appointment
😂😂😂
Great banter. Love to hear this every day. Greetings from Portugal. 👍🇬🇧🇵🇹
Micah I can't believe you said Mahrez has a better touch than Zidane🤯🤣🤣
It’s his mate
He wasnt lying
He does. Zidane definitely the better player but mahrez had a better touch
Zidane messed up his first touch much more often than Mahrez. Being flashier doesn't mean your first touch is better.
Top bants, luv it!! Alan scored 25/30 a season for some AWFUL Newcastle teams.
Great fitness advice!!👍🏻

These three having a laugh have me in stitches, Luv this podcast.
Good shout with Dennis Bergkamp, his touch on the ball was amazing and probably better than the original three mentioned.
Berbatov always was so underrated.
In what way is/was he underrated? Everybody thinks he was amazing!

Lewis Cook needs to be considered for England! Essential to the way Bournemouth play in the midfield and can fill in at right back.
Al knows he was the best of the best up top 😂
I do 100 press-ups 50 squats and 50 sit ups , I then wake up and I feel great

Honestly, the way Man United are playing at the minute, Al would probably get 50 or 60 goals 😅 Howay the lads! 🖤
“Ernie” was a hit for Benny Hill.
Zidane is overall a better player than Mahrez, BUT Mahrez has a superior first touch! SIMPLE.
Mitoma would be up there in terms of first touch. He not just controls it but puts it somewhere to run towards
Where do people post or how do they send their questions to the guys?
Where did Meeks get those Speedo goggles? i need a new pair.....

How many times has a double substitution come on and provided the assist and a goal with both players first touch. E.g. Tsimikas and Jota v Forrest
Can’t believe Alan’s just spoiled the jackal for me
Think Arsenal should try to get Osimhen
We should all be so happy as micah.
The Premier League bias with the "pick 3" questions is ridiculous. Schmeichel over Buffon lol?
Micah forgetting that Elliot Anderson is a Scotland international so not only does he have caps they are for another country 😂
Why's Micah sat in a shipping container? Has he been kidnapped? 😂
First touch wise it 100% Berbatov and the only one I’d argue was any better probably Berkgamp
