@@SimplyCarThings You did overpay. I picked up an '18 M4 17k miles from a BMW dealer for 54,000 2 weeks ago. BUT it's the exact spec you wanted, can't put a price on that.
At the 6:30 mark where he's talking about California registration fees decreasing as the vehicle gets older, it used to be like that. However, California has not decreased registration fees in recent years. If your car is brand new, you don't have to smog it for the first five or six years. However, the state charges you, I believe $25 annually (smog abatement fee) for not having to smog your car for those first five or six years. California is a rip-off state!
damn it sucks how much used cars went up in value lol i was saving up for almost 2 year for an m4 and was ready to purchase one in late 2021 but then realized the whole shortage bs messed everything up and now it doesn’t really seem like i am going to get one lmao
i love the m4 im undecided on getting either that one or the e92 m3 both great cars... white is very common in this car it looks great along with the yas blue which is a hard color to find... the lime rock grey is great too but too bad they only make it in the cs version another rare hard to find color
Holy shit, 1200 insurance per 6 months? That's expensive, im paying that amount om a yearly basis on mine 😳 but u guys have cheap ass cars man. 50k for a used m4 is a bargain here. I paid 75k for my 2018 m4 comp. But these dont go down in value anymore here as pre 2019 cars are very sought after due to lower taxes and no opf filters
$550 a month and you put half down, and the value decreased 15-20% once you signed your name at the bottom of the contract??!?!?? What???? Bruh....you could have put the cost of this car in a mutual fund and let it sit for 2 years and you would have made almost twice that amount. But I was young once and I love cars....so I get it. Be careful on the road man. Safe travels!
Everyone in their mother pulls the mutual fund example 😂 Which I understand, but to be fair I didn’t buy the car brand new (it’s worth about the same i paid for it), the M4 provides me with a stable revenue stream from my channel, and it’s something I enjoy and adds to my happiness since i’m extremely passionate about cars. And yes.... i do invest in ETF’s, stocks, & I have a crypto portfolio as well that has provided me with some solid returns 👌🏼

@@oxymaroxymar6485 its more expensive because it's a better car... And not by a little bit... Also the trunk is bigger than it looks in pictures, which I'm sure is all you've seen... The 911 drives better , looks better, is more reliable , and maintains its value better ...

I ordered my G80 M3 (22 Yrs). And was quoted ~$350 minimum for full coverage+ an $1,100 monthly lease payment. Like F$&K MEEEE. Why do we car people have to like the most expensive in the world. 😂
Congrats but the math on this is nuts. You put $28K down and still pay over $500 a month for 5.5 years? Interest rate sounds to be between 6-7%. I get loving that car but that thing will depreciate like a brick especially as used car inventories go back to normal and you already paid about $30K you might not get back. We all love cars here and you are free to do whatever with your money but I cannot imagine wrapping up that much money in a depreciating asset.
I appreciate your concern brotha, I put $25k down and my rate is around 3.2%. I also understand the car will depreciate (even though i've done a thorough market value assessment) but I don't see myself ever selling it and when it does come time to get a new car, i'll purchase something to sit alongside the M4.

i'm 23 as well. I would just assess your overall financial situation and take into account your current expenses/income in order to make the best decision
Quoted at 183/month for an m3 and I am 19
@@jackm7282 oh that’s not bad hopefully mines in the same ballpark
What do you do for a living I’m 15 looking to start detailing cars charging around $200 per car depending on what they want done hopping I can get an M4 within a year or 2 please give me some tips I’m going to try to finance it the way you did so I’m praying I find a good deal and everything works out
Work your ass off bro. Make the car your number 1 goal and don’t let anything get in the way of it. Save aggressively or invest your money & you’ll have it soon
The insurance is much cheaper than what I expected. Which insurance company do you use?
What was the mileage when you got it?
32k
The hud is a must
It really is
damn it sucks how much used cars went up in value lol i was saving up for almost 2 year for an m4 and was ready to purchase one in late 2021 but then realized the whole shortage bs messed everything up and now it doesn’t really seem like i am going to get one lmao
Sick vid bro. I am 2 years old, I plan on buying my m4 by the time I am 4.
Future here I’m looking for a 18+ comp now with 40k miles or less cheapest range from 57-62k
57-62 is not what there going for with that mileage
You can get a cs for that price
My dream car 😤😤
My dream car too!
i love the m4 im undecided on getting either that one or the e92 m3 both great cars... white is very common in this car it looks great along with the yas blue which is a hard color to find... the lime rock grey is great too but too bad they only make it in the cs version another rare hard to find color
How many miles did you get the car when you paid 51k?
Great video
how many miles on it when purchased.
Great vid bro... not gonna lie I’m posting this comment 1 min in 👍🏾
Appreciate the support bro 🙏
I’m confused on insurance, is it 1300 for 6 months or 1300 every month?
Every 6 months, sorry if I made it sound confusing
@@SimplyCarThings haha don’t worry about it thank you!
50k? Damn, mine was 65k. What was the mileage?
Holy shit, 1200 insurance per 6 months? That's expensive, im paying that amount om a yearly basis on mine 😳 but u guys have cheap ass cars man. 50k for a used m4 is a bargain here. I paid 75k for my 2018 m4 comp. But these dont go down in value anymore here as pre 2019 cars are very sought after due to lower taxes and no opf filters
Yeah $56000 is like realy expensieve. In my country the ceapest m4 2018 in my country is €75000.
And yes.... i do invest in ETF’s, stocks, & I have a crypto portfolio as well that has provided me with some solid returns 👌🏼
this car is worth every single dollar you have paid.....M2/3/4 is not just a car....this is top of knowlage , technology and human expirience from last hundret years....have the best fun
If you think that don't ever drive a 911 ... You'll shit yourself 🤣🤣🤣
@@bkphil89 it is 2 or 3 times more expensive and no luggage space...maybe enough for 2l coca cola or potty for you
@@oxymaroxymar6485 its more expensive because it's a better car... And not by a little bit... Also the trunk is bigger than it looks in pictures, which I'm sure is all you've seen... The 911 drives better , looks better, is more reliable , and maintains its value better ...
@@bkphil89both this cars are fantastic...have a great day my friend...there is nothing we can argue...partly i agree with you...partly not
People, do not order a bmw. Buy one on the lot, if they have any. I placed my order in May2021. The vehicle has been sitting in the West Coast VDC Pt Hueneme for 3 months and 1 week because they can’t get parts! My dealer or Genius have no clue when parts will arrive or I will get the car.I am going to walk away if no car 10/1/21.
Greetings from turkey.I read it from tax hell and i tired of seeing this car all the time in my dreams. I hope i will have f82 m4 as soon as possible.
How many miles did your car have? I'm looking to purchase a fully loaded 2016 M3 with 15k miles for $48k. I was wondering if that's a good deal or not?
I'd say it's quite good, I picked up an 15 F82 with 15k miles for 44.5k. F80 are a bit more rare than F82 3k extra it's not too crazy.
Thanks bro
Do you afford this from youtube income or mainly ur day job?
Great video as always, I payed my registration last month on my 2018 M3 it was $706
It is not cheap at all 🤣 but worth every penny
That is far from cheap haha, but so worth it like you said 😂
"Lets not waste any time, and get right into the video(saying this around the 1 minute mark)"...He doesnt actually start to maybe talk about the title of this video until the 4:30 mark, and even at that, he still pulls your teeth and drags this shit on way to much
$600 for registration!? No wonder people move out of California.
Yea man, it’s absolutely atrocious
@@SimplyCarThings bro, it costs me 75 dollars to register my car here in the greater Philadelphia area. I cannot fathom that bill.
Wow, your insurance is so cheap I wish I could see those numbers 😭😢😓
I ordered my G80 M3 (22 Yrs). And was quoted ~$350 minimum for full coverage+ an $1,100 monthly lease payment. Like F$&K MEEEE. Why do we car people have to like the most expensive in the world. 😂
I know man, i ask myself the same thing all the time haha. Our hobby is too damn expensive
1200$ a month on insurance??????
This makes my F30 335 seem so cheap
On top of that the new generation looks UGLY so thats a plus for getting the previous generation.
He wants you to believe he's frugal but he doesn't ever show his Gucci wallet, belt and slides. DONT BE FOOLED. #Fakenews
@@SimplyCarThings Respect. I did something similar and bought a Cayman a few years back. Most fun I ever had but geez I lost a lot of money when I went to sell it lol.
What credit union is that? I know great lakes CU wouldve gotten you 2.99 with a 780 plus score.
@@Juganator well buy a car you don’t ever want to sell
