    I mentioned this once before but it is so refreshing to hear a description about these events along with Jackson, McClellan, Lee, etc without all of the usual idol worship or finger pointing. Thank you.

    Antietam bloodiest DAY of Civil War, Gettysburg bloodiest BATTLE of the war. Both involved invasion of the North, both cost Confederacy dearly. Makes one wonder if Lee and the South weren't better of fighting strictly a defensive war. Lee should have taken lessons from Washington who knew above all preserve Army. ❤️🇺🇸💯

    Sad thing though is, people judged the war as how was VA doing.

    Look at some of the historical regimental records. A significant number of desertions when the enlisted realize what war is really all about.

    The narrator makes my ears bleed. Please, a little more somber and slower. But not as slow as McClellan.
