@@DefGoldbloom Do you know where the references in his music to Sufism, ancient Egypt, and all that come from? I thought I read somewhere he's Peruvian... I've loved ancient Egyptian history and Sufi poetry since I was a kid - I come from an Arabic family so I know how I got into it. Curious where he gets those references from - haven't found much online.
I am impressed that people still appreciate the underground scene. Your videos are very inspiring. Thanks for your loyalty and support of great artists and their style of music, it is well narrated and respectful. Keep it up🔥🔥
Divino is the sound killah and truly has kept up with the sound through generations of how the culture has changed and is controlling the underground along with Westside Gunn. I love how his sound went from being 90’s Mafioso rap and now to shake that/mumble rap/pop smoke/short and right to the point/make that money lyricism with the 90’s classic hip hop sampling in the background of the music. Westside Gunn and Divino are the truth!
I’d love to see a Starker video from you I honestly think he’s a once in a life time artist and ik he’s pretty low key as far as history but his music just sounds like wholesome dope rap especially that Bootleg Collection and KngJhsphts shoutout Starks and there’s not too much coverage on him Def is the most qualified no doubt.

Yo this video was incredible, you were able to put this in a way I didn't know how to express. I knew Al was a phenomenal Writer/producer but I had no fucking clue he was doing the album covers. Seems so obvious know especially with the collabs. My favorite thing about this guy is his rhyming is out of this world. I truly feel like he's advanced Kool G Rap rhyme technique better than any MC I've heard in my life. His use of slant rhymes and emphasis on individual syllables, with his signature alliteration rhyme style in tandem with his fast pace esoteric flows. It's just fucking remarkable man. Hugely for this reason combined with the strangely atmospheric, yet dimensional/psychedelic (honestly I don't know a better way to put it) beats that "The Door" is my favorite EP. I don't perfectly remember the movie but yall remember Monsters Inc.? How every door you open up takes you to a different kids bedroom? The Door reminds of me of that except each door takes you to a difference space of Hip-Hop. Actually one of the best Rap albums I've ever had the pleasure of hearing in my life.
Yeah i feel like no paying attention to his rhymes because of his deliver that take over the music, but almost all of his songs, he rhymes eternally over and over without sacrificing the meaning, he did that alot on his "King Midas" joint
