Love those pictures Linda took of Holland Diane 😍🤣. Linda welcome back. Glad you took a vacation. Now we may need to get you a rocking chair 💺 so you won't leave us . I remembered seminar weekend 😅stressful time during paint the face. Love seminar at your own pace of course time schedule to finish 👌.
The pictures of Holland are so funny. Yes life will change when she starts moving and teething...and reaching for everything. Glad to have Linda back and as always interesting..Stay well and safe. from Tennessee
Rachel, Holland Diane is so cute and I LOVED seeing her with you at "bring your kid to work day"😃😃💖💖💖💖💖!!! Holland Diane looked like she really LOVED looking at all the Dolls💖💜💖💜💖!!! I so LOVED the photos that Linda took of Holland Diane too💖💖💖💖💖!!! And I so LOVE to watch Linda do her magic and yes she is super talented💜💜💜💜💜💜!!! I so LOVE how she sewed the KPM China Head and how she corrected the dress of the KPM Doll❤❤❤❤❤!! And I also LOVED how she used an antique adult lace collar for the 1910 dress on that Doll and made Doll's blouse as well as how she made Doll's collar💖💖💖💖💖!! I also really LOVED how Linda made the Doll's hat with real feathers and a lining💜💜💜💜💜!! Last Week, I tried to watch some of Linda making a Doll's head with "slip", but I was really feeling sick with a fever flu like illness and I was unable to focus. However, watching Linda makes me realize how much a Doll is a work of Art💜💜💜💜💜!! Of course, I have no experience in making Dolls, but I wish I had basic sewing skills to fix my Raggedy Andy Doll as well as sew my Boyds Bear Lincoln B. Bearington. However, my Raggedy Andy will need more work done. And Rachel, I so LOVE that Boy Doll with the Sailor Clothes because he is not only super cute, but he looks like he could be Holland Diane's Fraternal Twin Brother and that makes him extra special💙💙💙💙💙!!! Rachel, thank you so much for sharing Holland Diane with all of us💛💛💛💛💛 and sharing Linda's talents in your videos💛💛💛💛💛!!!!
Hello Rachel,Linda,Paul Stan, precious,Holland Diane This is so fantastic,to see all the many dolls, and so much more, that others collect. Thank you so much, for preserving them, everytime you do,you are honoring, these sweet, people, who loved them so much! I loved Stanleys face when the word storage came up loL,but what hard workers yoo all are! and the memories for your daughter, is so beautiful, just like her momma! Thank you all so much!
Holland Diane is so adorable and getting big! Really interested in Linda's class. I just mastered the pintucks myself. Amazed at the doll's dress!! I'm self taught and I always like to learn more. I'll check out her online since I'm out of state. Thanks for sharing - love watching your videos
Wonderful. Linda repair’s doll’s so well. I wish I could do that. I am curious, how do you know that the body is original on a China doll? I heard that long ago that they would ship the doll part’s and sometime’s the owner made the bodies. Is this true?
I am trying to replace the lost porcelain half legs onto a soft body, Cathay Collection 24 inch doll. It appears to take a flange leg. However, there is a wire protruding from the fill and the cloth surrounding the fill has no seam fold to run a cord or zip tie through. Can you link a half leg repair tutorial or something for me. I have searched to no avail.
Ooh, doll surgery, how exciting! 🩺💖 The best way to tackle a glued porcelain head is to carefully soften the adhesive. You might try gently warming the area with a hair dryer on a low setting, taking care not to overheat and crack the porcelain. Once the glue is a bit softer, gently twist the head off, using a cloth to grip it. This can be tricky, so take your time and be patient. Once you've successfully detached the head, scrape away any remaining glue on the cloth body before attaching the new head. Have fun giving your doll a makeover! 🎀✨
CORRECTION! Linda's Website is wrong in the video when it comes on the screen, this is her website: www.uniquelyyoursporcelaindolls.com/
Holland Diane looks like a expert doll appraiser. She is adorable❤

I never knew that the Königliche Porzellan-
Manufaktur made dolls too, and I'm from Berlin Germany.
How cool!! They made some amazing dolls.

Hello! I was wondering what do you do and get when you buy a doll making class?
It totally depends on the class and the teacher. Linda doesn’t have any coming up but you can find them through The Doll Artisan Guild.
I am trying to replace the lost porcelain half legs onto a soft body, Cathay Collection 24 inch doll. It appears to take a flange leg. We do have some restringing tutorials on our channel for all bisque dolls.
Hello, I was wondering what do you use if your stringing a doll head onto a shoulder plate? Thank you!
It depends on the doll but for antique dolls, I usually see what’s called a spring or a metal coil.
@@RachelHoffmanDolls Ok thank you!
My antique china dolls say hi
Hi!! 👋🏻
@@RachelHoffmanDolls I named my older one victoria after queen victoria
I don't understand how to size the body with the head. I recently came across a K*R, size 1 head. What size body should I use?
The body should be 3x the length of the head, as a general rule. You can also get body books, they are so helpful!
Thank you so much! I've searched for this answer over and over but never found it. Now I know! I just love watching your videos, and I learn stuff!
She would make a great pirate
What is the best way to remove a broken porcelain doll head glued to a cloth body for replacement?

@@RachelHoffmanDolls Thank you so much for your advice.
Good video but the background music is distracting.
I agree! We don’t use the music anymore.
