Josh in girl meets world 🌎
Topanga herself force herself on Cory and latter has Shawn internalize misandry self hate and takes it out on other men on behalf of every girl Shawn's ever known
Communist have killed more people then Nazis
Do you like dance moms?
"You were more of a father to me than my own dad." The finale was already emotional, but Topanga's line to Feeney always gets me emotional! 😭💔 He was EVERYONE'S father figure, in a way!
or when shawn said “you never gave up on me, not once” the tears just started flowing 😔😔
I always wanted a teacher like Mr. Feeny. In my 36 years of living, I never had one. That's why I cried at the finale.
@@hayleysadler1960 And that shows the importance of never giving up on a kid.
I still think it's one of the best series finales ever.❤️
On the last day of senior year before graduation my teacher sent Feenys final scene to all of us
One of the last sitcoms where you actually learn life lessons. Its a shame they don't make sitcoms like these anymore.
Exactly. I love Boy Meets World!:)
Girl meet world could have been like that, but Disney stop It too soon
Nope they don't.
@@marcocala4385 Disney had too much say in Girl Meets World and never let the writers get as real as they did in Boy Meets World.
@@dawnjensen6560 that's true, they made a mistake
The way the doctor announces that they lost Chet and says “sorry boys”
Really pulls your heart strings
Ikr😢😢😭😭
Not an ugly cry moment but an angry cry moment when the whole group lost their innocence when it comes to tapenga and the teacher who tried to kiss her. The look on her face in the trial as he turned everything she said back on her is devastating
Yup. That's exactly how a sexual predator behaves 😡
When Chet passed away, it really broke my heart. I know he wasn’t the best father, but he did loved both his sons. That episode made me sad.
That is sad
@@allison3852 it was so sad because he really wanted another chance to do right by his kids
Yeah because throughout the series it seemed like Shawn was shit on the most but he caught a break through girl meets world
That made me cry I wish he had another chance to make it right
@@duvalt87 me too
Boy Meets World is one of those shows that has gotten better with age. You can relate to it as a child, teenager, and adult. It can also make you cry in one scene but then have you laughing in tears in the next.
Mr. Feeny saying "Class Dismissed" still gets me every time. 😥
me too.
I cry
Riigghhtttt the last class dismissed or so we thought Lol
For me its the combination of "I love you all" and "class dismissed". It's like a windup then the pitch to an empty room. Absolutely crushing.
One of the saddest moments to me, was when Corey and Shawn drank, Corey telling his parents that he doesn’t have a heart anymore has always hit me in the feels
Anyone who watches GMW knows that Shawn does eventually get his happy ending, and Eric and Tommy reunite
I know, I cried so hard but still it's not the same. I really wanted to see Eric adopt him but he was really mature
Eric is a hidden genius in the show he's not the most on the surface intelligent he is the most deep and emotionally intelligent and independent in a weird way he shows us we don't always have to have the most logical or intelligent response but to have the most love and sympathy can get you far not saying you shouldn't be intelligent about life's struggles but be both like Eric Mathews and you have a great chance at a fantastic and life fulfilled life
@@Hogg342100% and everyone loves Eric he is so charismatic as well
and that Angela's time with her father didn't last terribly long
@@alizaloring3437 yeah. I wish he was stable to actually adopt him
This show was so amazing! I’m glad I got to experience it in my childhood. The series finale’s scene in the classroom had me BAWLING 😭
This show was a show I would watch every day as a teen! Much like sister, sister
I still watch reruns of both shows
That scene with the eric and tommy scene are the two scenes that got me bawling non stop
Same. I can't get through it without crying
Topanga moving to Pittsburgh was truly sad, but what followed afterwards was the most emotional reunion between a couple, fiction or nonfiction, I ever witnessed. You couldn't keep these 2 away from one another, not even a 8 hour trip.
#10 definitely made Cory realize that he wanted to be a teacher.
That's the only explanation because Cory Season 1-2 hated school
@@Buff_Drio he became a teenager in season 3
One thing I loved about Shawn and Angela’s relationship was that it was my first exposure to interracial relationship and that helped normalize interracial relationships to me.
What helped is that they never brought that up. They just let them be a normal couple, with normal problems that broke up for normal reasons.
Exactly. I've never been against interracial relationships but at the time I didn't really know very many people in them. I do like that they didn't emphasize on it and just let them be a couple
That was cool but it always gave me the creeps how much older she looked and acted from shawn. Turns out the actress was ten years older than shawns actor.
Disney did their relationship so dirty!
@@Superfreaky2 she looked like a college aged person. she looked great for her age. most times in hollywood the actor is the older one.
It's absurd. I was 36 years old when Boy Meets World premiered and I still loved it. I introduced it in reruns to my son and both he and I enjoyed Girl Meets World. Great show.
Yes Both shows were good
Cuz you had a crush on Menkis?
Girl meets world was trash compared to Boy meets world.
"A 15 YEAR OLD IS DEAD" and the last "class dismissed" gets me everytime
I moved to Utah in 6th grade. I hate the move, but my new class was just starting the WWII and Anne Franke unit. My education changed forever after that. How kids don't get this anymore is devastating to me.
The episode when the lunch lady died and Cory realized he isn’t cherishing his own mother had me sobbing.
Yeah that should've been in there somewhere
Yea then he sat down and ate with her at the end!
Topanga's parents got a divorce should've been in this one. It leads to topanga losing her faith in love leading to a breakup with cory, which severely breaks his heart, leading him to insanity and drinking
they brokke up all the time. angela leaving and gmw crap hit harder
I say the "Believe in yourself. Dream. Try. Do good." phrase to myself often. First time I saw it reminded me of my dad. Such a wonderful scene.
I really was devastated when Angela left shawn they were a great couple together
😭😭 Angela and Shawn were AMAZING together.
@@melaniefulginiti8426 I wish that Shawn had ended up marrying her in the end.
@@alexmeyer5260 me too especially how they treated her on the revive show girl meets World a damn shame
@@ashleyprice9487 girl the rest of the cast treated her like trash
@@alexmeyer5260Yeah i wanted to see hime have a family with angela instead all he gets is another guys kid palmed off onto him
Saddest Boy Meets World moments
Alan Mathews Lashes out at Shawn over the drinking
The class mate that gets abused by her own father
Topanga’s line to Mr Feeney In the finale
Angela’s reaction/fear of her mother leaving
Topanga’s parents divorce
Shawn pushing Cory away/ the fight they had
These saddest boy meets World moments i really cry at the most
My top 5
1. Series Finale
2. Baby Joshua
3. Chet Hunter’s Death
4. Eric giving up Tommy
5. Mr. Turner’s Accident
One of my favorite episodes was girl like me.
Baby Joshua hit home for me. I’m a former NICU baby spent 98 days in the NICU. I obviously don’t remember anything as I was a baby. Seeing it from the parents and siblings perspective 🥺
I've gone through the whole show 2-3 times and the last episode I'm basically either about to tear up or I'm actually crying. I just can't get through it without crying. It's such a good and sweet ending to an awesome show.
I sobbed so hard it was bitter sweet one line that always gets me Topanga saying “you were more of a father to me than my dad” and Shawn’s line “you never gave up on me not once” and it also has funny moments like when Fenny said the Cory “I think I’ve known you long enough to call you Cornelius” I never knew that was his full name till I watched bmw for the first one a few months ago.
There are a lot of sad moments but in my opinion Eric and Tommy should be number one. It's not even a question, it's like way above everything else it gets me every time even now I'm bawling my eyes out. It is so hard and painful to watch
These are all good ones to have on this list. However, the finale when Mr. Feeney says, "I love you all. Class dismissed", gets me EVERY time. Just watching that clip in this video got me wiping away tears.
"Class Dismissed". Best final words ever in a finale.
Recently started watching the show again with my wife, we both agreed whenever we have kids they’ll watch this show
Literally just watching the finale and Angela snippets made me cry!! I have tears actively streaming down my face
The scene during the Christmas episode when she tells Shawn she can't sit around, waiting for him to be ready for a relationship always gets me right in the feels. 😔
Corey and Topangas break up, Topanga leaving to Philadelphia, Shawn at the Hospital with Turner and Sibling Rivalry were my top. Cried ugly tears on all of those episodes. Never did I think a show could break my heart but those did
I was saddened seeing shawn so devastated learning that his birth mother abandoned him 😢
I loved Shawn in general. Rider is so hot and such a good actor
My biological mom ditched me I can relate She never spent time with me nothing No BDay Holidays etc We still don't talk to this day
Please cover the saddest "Girl Meets World" moments, particularly Riley breaking down and confronting her bully, and Maya meeting her deadbeat dad, and trying to forgive herself for blaming herself for his leaving. 💔
We never found out who was the bully
or when little tommy returns.
@@Missmagazinebura it was the audience when girl meets world came out everyone bullied the girl who played riley cause of how she acted
@@typicalxniyahh that is sad
It can't compare
This show was truly great. For me, the saddest moment was with baby Joshua. My family and I went through this, but my little brother didn't make it. That episode destroyed me when I saw it. It still hits me hard to this day. This show really knew how to pull at the heartstrings
Shawn and Angela breaking up destroyed me
😭😭😭😭💔💔💔💔
I always thought the lunch lady episode was a sad one. Its the only funeral we see in the episode and even though its literally her first and last episode it sill brings a tear to my eye. should have at least gotten an mention.
It was a great life lesson to be grateful for the people in your life who does things for you. It brought a tear to my eye, when a the end of the episode Cory figured out that life lesson when he sat down to eat the breakfast his mom had made for him, and he says "Mom... Thanks for making me breakfast"
The twists between when Cory wants to be part of his big brothers life and how flipping to Eric wanting to remain part of Cory's was brilliant. The death of Chet Hunter while bittersweet, he managed to keep his promise in a way that he wasn't going anywhere, and Shawn could go talk to him whenever he needed.
Baby Joshua really hit hard because my family went through the same thing with me when I was born. After I was born I was in the hospital for a month in the ICU. I thankfully am still alive and well today but that first month nobody knew if I would live or if I'd even get to leave the hospital alive
Oh my god. I’m happy you’re here today 💗
@@avarayne8091 I am too. That episode made me cry because of how hard it hit me
@@rubygracemoseley8144 ❤️
Oh my gosh! The scene where Eric has to say goodbye to Tommy literally had me in tears. 😢
Awesome list as usuall, sitting here crying as a baby again, I really feel bad Shawn, he had a really tough child/young adulthoos. Noone deserves that.
It was wrong of Topanga to tell Cory to see Lauren, then after he takes her advice and sees her, Topanga dumps him for it. Very manipulative. 😐
THANK YOU! Cory was absolutely wrong for cheating (& lying about it), but what Topanga did is no better. Cory told Lauren that he didn't wanna be with her, & told Topanga the same thing, but Topanga took advantage of his desperation by telling him to do something that she didn't want him to do. Don't tell someone to do something, & then get p!$$ed off when they do it
No fucking kidding! 🤔
I didn’t really see that I know verbally they have the “I did what you said” “and you listened” but I always understood that as “you needed to do that for you Cory just like I need to do this for Me” I always believed she was gonna leave him either way for the kiss but being Topanga she put his needs first. That’s what I got from it I can completely see how you see it and that’s what’s so good about this show is that it’s complex
It's understandable that she's upset that he wants to see her anyway even though she said for him to do it. She obviously didn't want him to but the fact that he did to see if maybe he wanted to be with someone else over her place many doubts in a relationship and how she thought he felt about her. If he truly loved Topanga, he wouldn't have felt the need to see someone else to see if maybe she was right for him or this other is.
I was born premature, and when that episode came out, I remember watching it with my mum, and her saying that it was one of the best episodes BMW did, because it was relatable. We'd never seen an episode that focused on premature babies, so it was a huge thing to actually see it tackled on a sitcom.
I LOVE this show! I still watch it on disney+!
The Chritsmas epsidoes are always great!
“Don’t blow me off, John!” is my #1
Cory was absolutely wrong for cheating (& lying about it), but what Topanga did is no better. Cory told Lauren that he didn't wanna be with her, & told Topanga the same thing, but Topanga took advantage of his desperation by telling him to do something that she didn't want him to do. Don't tell someone to do something, & then get p!$$ed off when they do it
@Ellande Campbell, this is one of, if not THE DEFINITION of emotional manipulation & exploitation. This is where mixed signals come in & people, especially women, wonder why when they say certain sentences and/or perform certain actions, but have/had the intentions of the opposite desired goal. "And you listened!" I love Topanga, but even though what Cory did was wrong, though Lauren kissed him & Cory let her kiss him, Topanga was deadass wrong for saying to Cory to go see Lauren & getting mad at him for going to see Lauren. That really makes men increasingly listen or want to listen to women less & less. Then again, women's emotions change not from day to day, but from minute to minute, probably even within 30 seconds.
THANK YOU!! So many people still take Topanga’s side on this issue and it frustrates me.
I completely agree with you to start this off but there is a line that people don’t seems to see when they tell or get told to do something in that people will tell you to do what you want or what you think you need to do for you not because they’re truly okay with it so there will always be the sense of “do what you need to do but just like that I have to do what I need to do” so yes completely if she hadn’t told him to go we could’ve been looking at a more toxic relationship
I have been on Cory’s side. If you say date someone else, of course I will listen. We are broken up.
I always wanted a family like the Matthew's. A stable, loving home.
It's worth every laugh and every "to be continued..." in your personal sitcom. Whatever you have to do, fight for it.
I can’t put into words how much I love this show growing up . There will never be shows like this anymore. The family the home the love the cozy feeling. You can feel every episode. Yes I am totally rewatching it on Disney+
Angela leaving can’t be #1 here. 2, 3 & 4 all made my cry much more than her leaving Shawn. I think the finale should have been #1.
Turners accident should have easily made top 10 - but I do like your list - Great job
Even though it was sad to see Eric walk away from Tommy but he did the right thing
For me that was number one. Even seeing it now I bawled my eyes out.
Next is the finale
Sadly I don't agree with these picks but it brings back some nostalgia for me.
The Goodbye to MR Feeny always makes me cry.
I would put tommy and Eric in number 1 because i saw a video that showed their reunion and it showed their happier and saddest part of their brotherly relationship
This show hits way different when watched as an adult.
OOOOOOO That series finale....nothing hits harder!
1:53 -- To put that one into perspective, you couldn't just text each other or skype/zoom call in those days.
I watched this show in 2020 and it kinda gave me depression since this show happened around my childhood and I never watched it until now 😅
I watched gmw first and took me forever to watch bmw but I finally decided to watch it in April and it’s now one of the best shows I’ve ever watched(to be fair the show outside of Disney that I’ve seen was the office) and I love the show so much can’t wait to re watch
When angela tells Corry they are not friends that episode killed me
I love Boy Meets World. Its one of my favorite sitcoms and thr one i watch growing up.
As someone who grew up with girl meets world, I can’t imagine Corey and tapanga have relationship issues
That finale was special, I love Feeny (and William Daniels)
I'm sorry but Angela leaving is not the number 1 saddest moment. Number 1 should be the finale or Chet's (Shawn and Jack's dad) death.
I agree but I think they made it #1 because of the story arch for Shawn, he not only lost his mother and subsequently his father, but also the love of his life, so I don’t think it was just that moment itself but what it meant for Shawn as far as his character development
@@vincew4297 I don't mind it being on this list, but of all the sad moments number 1? It should be minimum number 6. When I think of sad moments on tv shows I think of episodes that really tug on the heartstrings and make you emotional. And the only scenes in Boy Meets World that did that for me were the finale (I would've picked that at number 1), Chet's death, and Eric saying goodbye to Tommy. Topanga moving was also sad but I didn't get too emotional because I kind of figured she would be back. I might've added Cory and Topanga's wedding. To see these now young adults getting married after we had seen them be good friends as kids and seeing them grow up before our very eyes and also seeing Shawn getting upset at Cory because he felt like he would be losing his best friend when Cory got married. Don't get me wrong I enjoyed Shawn and Angela's relationship a lot, but I kind of figured it wouldn't last so when she left I wasn't too surprised although I did feel bad for Shawn losing another person in his life who he loved. Sorry for venting, Boy Meets World was/is such a great show
@@crystalsnow1138 I understand where you’re coming from, but I can also understand it being #1 because of all the turmoil Shawn went through, it’s bad enough losing both parents but losing the love of your life as well is something that would break most people. Angela was someone he wanted to spend the rest of his life with and that was what was so heartbreaking as a viewer to see for Shawn, my heart ached for him after watching that episode. Also what made this so sad was because this was the second to last episode of the BMW series and we didn’t get any closure. Most sitcoms will do something like what Friends did for Ross and Rachel, however we went through the emotional highs and lows of their relationship, watching Shawn and Angela grow up from Freshman year in high school and then through College before our very eyes only for them to break up for good at the end of the series. I’ll never forget the long gaze Angela gave Shawn before she left with her father. It was like she was telling him how much she loved him and was going to miss him by just the look in her eyes, which made it even more heartbreaking because Shawn would always tell Cory that he and Angela could talk and understand each other without ever having to say a single word to each other and it showed exactly what he meant in that last scene between them
I think it is Eric and Tommy by far
For Number 1 I really thought it was going to the episode where Shawn discovers a student from their class getting abused by her own father or the episode of the Professor that made a dorm visit to Topanga and tried to make a move on her.
Claire being abused by her dad was another sad one. I'm surprised it didn't make the list.
12:42 Some have accused Angela's ashes of exaggerating the family's poverty and the 'misery' of Limerick city. McCourt's own mother, Angela herself, is said to have stood up during a show where her sons were telling stories of the past and called the stories out as lies, saying “It didn't happen that way!😨😨😨
Except that this video has nothing to do whatsoever with Frank McCourt's book Angela's Ashes. Sure, that's probably where they got the episode title from for Boy Meets World, but apart from that, nothing else is similar. .
Class dismissed..... 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Man the Joshua in the hospital always gets me especially in my adult life.
When I was 18, 12 years ago
me and my girlfriend (still together, engaged now)
Had a premature baby at 24 weeks doctors told us he wasn't gonna make it.
I remember when I first saw him his skin so paper thin no bigger than a water bottle.
He was in the hospital for 4 months before we brought him home.
I remember every little bit of good news I always told my girlfriend "he's getting better, he's gonna be okay" every time we got told bad news " he's just having a bad day, look at all the progress he's made he's gonna be okay"
Years later my girlfriend told me I was her rock during those times she didn't know me that well we were just two kids who were being stupid and brought a baby into this world.
We've had our ups and downs but I truly belivie I found my Topanga at the age of 17.
I look at that same baby boy and can't belivie he's gonna be 12 years old soon and is an older brother of a beautiful 2 year old baby sister and 1 year old baby brother.
Both times I was in the hospital before leaving I made sure to go to the ward where they keep baby's in intensive care and like Allan.
Gave a prayer for every baby that was in there and for every baby that will ever be in there to make it home safely.
I'm sorry I watched that episode recently and it just brought back a bunch of memories and emotions.
But I have my loving family and beautiful fiance soon to be wife and I realize
I'm a lucky man.
May your family be blessed and strong 🙏🏾💜 this was beautiful. Thank you for sharing. Almost as tear jerking as the actual vid
“Mr. Feeny, if I’m really really quiet, will you stay?”
Breaks me every time.
The saddest BMW moment for me is learning how awful Trina McGee was treated by certain cast members BTS.
Who was it? (I commented this twice bc I don’t think it posted last time)
@@alexdeleon4203 Will Friedle (the only one who's apologized), Danielle Fishel and Ben Savage.
@Rhaegar Targaryen Danielle apologized as well
@@alisonjoseph450 I heard but IMO it was just to save face. Fans were coming down hard on her and her convention money was at risk. Will on the other hand offered his apology freely and sincerely.
@@RhaegarTargaryen1st That's true
I remember when the episode where Topanga abruptly moves came out, I was super young but I fully believed that Danielle Fishel was leaving the show and that was the end and I was in puddles
I think the saddest was when Shawn's dad died
I also think it was sad when Johnathan Tunner got into a car accident.
I felt bad for Eric's girlfriend got called a bad name
Poor Shawn, he has it really rough😭
Yeah 😭
Chet hunter”s death was very sad 😢
I still cry everytime at number 4.
Tommy returning to Girl Meets World was amazing
Oh man....I always remembered how deep this show was when I first watched it. I miss shows like this that actually get you so emotional, while making you laugh at the same time.
I just finished seeing Boy Meets World, I'm crying like a kid 😭
The series finale in the classroom gets me EVERY TIME!!!!! Even watching it in this video got me with the tears because it was just so sad that he never got to tell them he loved them. Angela and her father weren't estranged he was in the military.
“I’m very mad at you. But I couldn’t leave without saying goodbye.” - Gets me every time 😭😭😭
A fifteen year old girl is dead. That is shocking and got me. I'm in tears now.
I agree with the list but not in the order you guys put it in.
Growing up with Boy Meets World really helped me tackle my own issues growing up. I loved how the show could be so relatable.
I’m sorry but when topanga broke up with with Corey I legit screamed out of happiness
😁😌🥳✨💅

Number one is very emotional
It hard to say goodbye to your girlfriend
PLEASE DO SAD MOMENTA FROM FAMILY MATTERS PLEASE!
That’s A Goldmine Waiting To Happen!
Merry Christmas everyone who celebrates it
I’m sorry as much as I adored Shawn and Angela I think the sadder moment was Shawn discovering his mom wasn’t really his mom
For me it was the Shawn and mr tuner hospital scene
Baby Joshua that was a heart lurcher.
The tv show finale of boy meets world was 😢
"Classic 90s Sitcom" - The narrator said that with a straight face.
Hi first off huge fan this is probably one of the few things on RUclips I watch consistently well that being said I think you should do top moments in boy meets world we didn’t see coming is Mr. Turner being alive
Shawn seeing angela again at the precise moment seems like he found someone new.
All of them going to ski lodge
And the boy is like my mom says hi to Corey
Or the episode where they bring both Morgans which is pretty hysterical
Or top moments were they brought back moments of the original boy meets world into the new one Girl meets world
The best show of the 90s I loved it ❤
Thing I like about boys meet world 🌎 is that it tackles serious issues no other show hardley does
dramatic tear jerker even though it's a comedic show always tugs at heartaches turner's death very hard I couldn't do it
Lose one friend.
Lose all friends.
Lose yourself.
For me, Topanga leaving was number 1, for the week until the next episode aired anyway
The part where topanga is crying to corey at chubbies tops it for me
Surprised Mr. Turner was only an honorable mention
Same it’s my number one for me. Im such a sucker for those father/son or father/daughter relationship when other people step in to be that and I loved them so much I was so happy to see them reunited in the gmw finale
Boy that #7 moment is all I can say⭐️When she left in one episode and showed up unexpectedly in the next episode⭐️U can tell she loved him⭐️
"i wont go anywhere, not this time" *proceeds to die*
Never see shows like this anymore that have such strong emotional messages in them the shows that kids and teens watch now are trash
My sad part of boy meets world is when sean is with mr. Turner in the hospital room and begging god not to take turner yet
Yesss same! I can’t believe it was only a honorable mention
Yes I’ve been rewatching the episodes I loved them all
