@Siimland. Super weird comment: if you like adding Balsamic for flavor, consider "condiment grade" balsamic. It actually contains at least 50% and up to 100% grape must, sometimes aged. No health benefits, big culinary potential imo. I love food and cooking. Ethan Chlebowski did a comprehensive video on Balsamic. Great vid and gl with the book!
Love the video. I would like to see more vlog type videos like these please!
You got it!
I 2nd that, yes please, thanks!
@@SiimLandI think my partner (male) who finds all the supplements and knowledge quite overwhelming would find this video more approachable. Thank you for this.
Wishing you all the success for your book! You're an inspiration!
Thank you! You too!
seeing ur lifestyle in practice is an excellent visual ‘supplement’ to the usual science backed breakdowns, love this thanks!💪🙌 also congrats on ur health stats & new book & thanks for sharing with us!!❤
My pleasure!
love the vlog videos showing timelines of routines implemented. the little goofy personality bits are fun to watch too :)
This was awesome man, you look crazy shredded! Keep it up :)
Thanks! Will do!
Love it! more like this! 🔥
Looking forward to the book.
About time it comes out yes
Great video! Can you make a list of supplements and links to the products used in your protein shake?
Hi Siim, thanks for al the videos you are making about longevity. I try to follow you guideliness for training, diet and supplementintake. Now i'm training for a quart triathlon and i do a lot of endurance training. Should i stick to high protein and low carbs (around 150 grams of carbs a day) or should i increase my carb intake? Thank you in advance.
Great video. Thanks for sharing you are the best and most inspiring person on longevity community
My pleasure!
The last meal is a lot of food in one meal, especially your last meal before bed
He eats one and a half meals a day so it needs to be big
Thanks for sharing! Two questions: for the protein powder you count 80% of protein not 100%, don‘t you? Secondly, for the protein synthesis after the training can i take the protein shake bevore the training too or only after the training? P.S. Hope your book will be translated quickly.
Well Siim, Your book will be well worth adding to my library. Have you seen the studies on how beneficial pollock is for building muscle and the nutrient profile for pollock is nothing short of amazing.
I will check it out
@@SiimLand . Great! RUclips channel, I AM LONGEVITY put up a nice video and with references. The video on his channel is "This Fish Protein May Be The Best. Here's Why!" Good luck!
when do you take your other supplements like glycin or creatine ?
great video sim, you should do more vlogs👌🏻
Perhaps, thx
Would be good to see a video on your full day workout on a typical week.
Do you do matcha tea and/or l-theanine?
I don't see the plant based pea protein in the store. Can you give me a link to it? Thanks!
Siim do you take EAAs or BCAAs ??
You are very handsome and have glowing skin and a great body. You are obviously doing very well with your diet and lifestyle! I’m excited for your new book!!
Love it, more vlogs woukd be great mate 👍
Thx, will do
What are your thoughts on the studies showing high antioxidant intake close to vigorous exercise blunting its adaptive benefits?
if i remember correctly preferable in the morning and if after training wait like 4h
How many capsules do you take of Noordcode Omega 3 daily?
Do you take other omega 3 in addition, possibly how much?
How much daily, and which brand of Hyaluronic acid do you take?
You dont need 15 or 20 grams of collagen? Also was the 20 g of glycine in your tea?
Thank you for sharing the blood analysis.
Homocysteine is really high. It should be 7-8, this is optimal. Have you been tested for B12? Do you take methionine?
Apd: Oh, I remember. Perhaps this is due to the amino acid cysteine in the NAC supplement. What do you think?
q+qz1-1¹-+a@22²²-
Good stuff
It seems that you live in an apartement.
How about emf ? Do you worry about it ?
Great video thanks.
No fresh vitamin C though? Maybe a bit in the carrot.
Sea buckthorn is very high
How much so you weight? Your calorie intake for the day seems pretty low
That pea protein sounds very interesting for someone struggling to get in enough protein, is this vailable in the EU as well or something similar to it? (also i like that ur a bit less like a robot in this vid lol)
Love this type of video! Maybe some error in total caloric intake (1700-1800)
Thx, I actually added twice the amount of olive oil because the first clip was without audio so I added it twice
Big error. Protein & carb 4 kcal, fat 9 kcal and alcohol 7 kcal. Did he sneak in some red wine or vodka?
Such a clean-cut and handsome young man.
"Mr Perfect"
Good work man.
Thanks for the video. Why did you choose to quit the keto diet?
I do better with carbs
amennnnn@@SiimLand
Awesomeness, thanks for sharing. I have a very similar daily supplement-activity routine. Unfortunately, I don't have the puppy alarm clock. 😅 🐶📢
Nice
So your eating window is from around 12pm to 4pm?
Hi Siim, what lab did your blood test and what kind of blood test and or panel did you have done? P.s. looking forward to your upcoming releases of supps and the book!
I did the Aiwo 180 at my retreat
@@SiimLand Thank you for your response, I know your time can be limited. Obviously, I missed the retreat opportunity so, wondering if this same comprehensive blood test panel can be done for those who didn't attend the retreat?
You mean at the clinic? You can go there any time.
@@SiimLand ah yes sorry, so I mean like is this same panel available online for purchase, where they can send the lab draw info to a lab local to me, give the specimen, then send the results back to them to be read?
@@user-wp4su9cq6q i dont think so and if it would be very expensive. he went to india to get all done at one place which reduces the costs
some issues as.
cocoa has lead which you are not taking herbs to help counteract it despite the sauna.
probiotics do not digest as other say unless you have something special
plastic blender which dont you have glass?
non stick pans?
In general good.
Why are you eating pett instead of keefir or yoghurt? Does it have better macros or you just prefer the taste more?
Just what I had at the moment
What also works great is using frozen blueberries. It makes the same "creamy" effect because they are in ice.
I thought cold was good for the gut
Good stuff and thanks for sharing. That's pretty clean eating. Are you getting adequate choline? Also, any concerns about oxalates? The sweet potatoes alone will put you at ~525mg in oxalates and that's not even counting the beets and walnuts which are also high oxalate foods. General safe recommendation is to keep oxalates below 250mg per day (e.g. ~10% is absorbed/makes it into the blood and the kidneys can handle ~25mg oxalates per day) and optimally below 100mg. I understand why you have the kefir-like dessert at the end as the calcium in it will help bind a lot of the oxalates. Little known fact is Cronometer actually tracks oxalates but I don't think it's enabled by default. You have to turn it on in the settings.
Oxalates are only a problem with low calcium intake. I'm getting high calcium. Never had oxalate problems
Though I have PCOS, all dairy products, milk, yogurt, whey protein powder seem to suit my body completely and I have no issues with them so can I continue to keep dairy in my daily diet?
Also what about tofu?
If you dont have issues then why not
Only those 4 supplements with your preworkout shake? No other supplements later?
How would you do it if you also ran 50-100km per week on top of 3 times in the gym per week? Eat back the calories you burn with more meals, meaning less fasting or get lets say another 1000 kcals in the same eating window`?
Either way is fine, whichever works for you
Why on earth would anyone buy plant based pea protein when they could just buy plain ground beef or chicken.
Environmental concern, desire to completely eliminate certain components found in meat (like saturated fat or contaminants found in a certain geographical area, etc), ethical concerns, low-protein diet due to cancer or kidney disease, don't like meat, concern over red meat a type 2 carcinogen according to WHO, concerns with meat quality/lack of access to meat produced under adequate standards such as food safety, concerns around causing the next pandemic virus by supporting meat production (probably fear of bird flu), just liking the taste of pea protein (yea not me lol), desire to raise fibre intake through literally any means possible, any or all of the above. Yea

Body fat means muscle mass? Or am I getting it wrong?
this seems pretty low calorie for the amount of muscle you have, do you try to get 10k steps per day also? And how many days per week lifting weights?
He lifts 3 times a week. He also attempts to walk 12k steps a day from purely walking I’m pretty sure.
great!

Your daily calorie intake is ~2000 cal, with a BMR also at ~2000 cal, and being quite active, you burn an additional >1000 cal every day. Given this significant calorie deficit, how do you manage to build muscle?
I eat more on other days
@@SiimLand wait, it's that suppose to be your normal way of eating? Is this a diet regime? How much do you eat while gaining?
Sim why not take (respectfully) Dr. Brad Stanfeilds microvitamin it has hyaluronic acid 200mg and TMG among other d3 k2 ext?
Sim do you think pea protein is clean? How is it obtained from the pea?
Organic textured peas
@@SiimLand go on... what the process my friend?
From pea flour you isolate the protein and remove excess fiber which then is made into granules with an extruder
@@SiimLand sim exactly. That machine doesn't exist in nature. It's not good. Your product is one of tho most highly processed products - that simply cause illness. You know it. Why are you even exploring this? Don't sell your integrity my friend.

Where do you do blood tests?
At my retreat and sometimes at a lab
You said full day of eating ,....these are not all your supplements.
Will buy the book 100%. This video is easily worth 5-6 euro for me. Thanks
Hello! greetings from Mexico, what are your thoughts on Bryan Johnson pill bundles he is selling? Looking forward to your opinion :D
You're missing out on red meat and organs? They are pretty much the top superfood, beating any supplement or food
Before and or After meal potassium Chlorid Salt it cancels out carbs Sugar it acts Like vinegar only a Little better
try 35mg nicotinic acid with your meal or every 3-4 hours up to 4 hours per day, with TMG, Its amazing. Im 70kg 5"9 male and best dose for me after months of different dosages
We eat almost exact same macros and calories daily 🙌🙌🙌
Like the video, but i try to avoid everything that comes in dry/powder form.
You mix it up with liquid and it's wet lol
👍Same like you.
I am into Immunotherapy and Gerontology research work in Asia for over 17 years.
I advocate clean whole foods that we can see and know and control before consuming. Favouring IF for awesome Autophagic results, I don't go for supplements in pill form.
When we deep dive into all these powders and tablets and pills, these are also classified as lightly "processed and refined". We have been checking on and featuring healthy elderly, seniors and centenarians in our studies and they are not into the modern diet and lifestyle.
Powder is just a processed food, so not in a natural state
@@rudolphodegraaf6437 Yes. Agree 💯
Even supplements have fillers, cornstarch capsule shells, and other unknown chemicals and ingredients manufactured together.
We cannot control the production process.
@@rudolphodegraaf6437 yeah this also applies to everything cooked. So youre only eating raw? Sounds hard to digest
How much do you pay for your bloodwork?
Did you mix your drink in plastic?
Yeah i was expecting alot more from this guy. My diet is all raw and organic. And i use a glass mixer.
Hey simm,
Out of curiosity, how many milligrammes of astaxathin do you take daily 😊
3 mg is enough for skin benefits which I'm taking. For lipids and blood pressure up to 6-12 g is optimal
@@SiimLand, thanks siim 👍👍👍👍
Why not eat minced beef instead of that pea protein? ☺️
Shredded
Maintenance mode
Calories for those macros are wrong.
Sim went lactoovo pescatarian?!?!?! 😮😮😮😮😮😢
What happened to your diet? You used to eat Low carb Carnivore. Did you dust getting heart problems lol.
Definitely on the lower end of protein. Food choices seem very lean also. Do you not get any animal fat? No beef? No grass fed butter or dairy?
I eat dairy. No need for more than 0.8 g/lb of lean body mass for protein which i'm getting
Wheres the min. 10 gm daily glycine?
The collagen peptides I take has 8 grams of glycine in total. Plus I added some to my tea
This is almost the Zone Diet.
Why did you stop with OMAD?

@sooparticular nope he's not doing omad anymore.😂
In another universe siim wouldve been a bodybuilder
I did a competition 9 years ago lol

You don't eat eggs or wildgame meat anymore?
Sometimes I do
@@SiimLand Can i ask why you do 2x protein powder instead of eggs and wildgame meat?
Too much Cholesterol? Phosphorus? Saturated fat? Methionine? Homocysteine?
Nice to see a fitness youtuber having only 130gm of protein.

I don't see the most nutritious food on the planet: red meat.
Didn't have time to drop by the meat section the day before? 🤷♂️
You have far less animal based food in comparison to the past. Is there a reason for it?
Better biomarkers, better body composition, better fitness status. I'm changing things based on my results
No more glycine?
I do take it
Looks more like 1500 to me but not bad mate
Also you need a bigger plate**
Why would you have a plant based protein? Why just just have some beef?
Yeah
Plant proteins taste hell better than meat for some people
I'm angry when I have to eat meat because I'm doing something I hate
@@daysoftheboo really? Most plant based meats are trying to mimic the taste of meat 🤔
Less methionie might be one reason
@@chrisbrown2211 EEEEEWWWW I don't eat plant-based meats those things are disgusting ! not even worth feeding to my chickens
Brined olives are superior to EVOO. Higher polyphenols per gram, lower in exogenous AGEs.
I eat them often, but the oil is probably higher in polyphenols because you've got more olives squeezed per gram
Lower risk of oxidized fats in whole olives yes
Agree totally with you.
I eat 4 different types of olives in brine.
EVOO can be at least 20% adulterated in most brands.
I go for organic grass fat ghee.
@@angeljuliedr the problem with butter is they’re high in exogenous AGEs.
@@campersruincod6134
Moderation is the key to all food classes. Most foods can cause and contribute to exogenous AGEs if there is an excess consumption.
Based on our research, dairy has always been a topic of controversy. Some are for but others are against dairy.
The French Paradox is one that has shed some interesting facts about dairy.
From my personal perspective, selective sources of dairy like raw unpasteurized butter, cheeses and milk (specifically goat's milk) are nutritionally superior when consumed in moderation.
There is no French paradox and it’s now known the discrepancy was due to differences in the reporting of cause of death, and other factors.
that's pretty low on the calories, are you cutting weight right now?

Lol I love carrots
Why are you eating veggie based protein? That white fish is not merely enough, and not sure why you rnt consuming more animal meat, where is the ground beef and red meat? For someone who wants to maintain muscle and size, you sure seem to be staying away from real meat.

C'mon, Siim, you gotta differentiate between "pretty much kefir or unsweetened yoghurt". Kefir has nothing to do with yoghurt.
The type of dairy product wasn't kefir nor yogurt so I don't know what's the english word
Buttermilk.
