I think it was supposed to be the main attack helicopter of the US but they went for the Apache instead. I'm not sure how available the information is about the Comanche in 2009, the date this video was posted, but one possibility I could think of, is that people saw the presence of the Comanche in the RTS game Command & Conquer: Generals as an attack helicopter that the USA faction uses. Knowing that RTS game, it definitely is popular back in the day and it's a possibility the dude who made the Lolmanche have played the game and thought the Comanche is a cool-looking helicopter (to which it is)
