I’d like to see a few things in a Switch Plus or or Pro whatever they wanna call it: 1080p OLED slightly more powerful and efficient processor to smooth out performance and support 1080p in handheld mode Better battery life 3D Display like the 3DS so a technical resolution of 1080x3840 A plus version of the Lite would be perfect if it supported a separately sold dock and had improved battery life

I reckon that the next thing Nintendo will do is release a "home console only" version of the Switch. One which can't be undocked and is made to exclusively play Switch games on TV mode- and of course it's much more affordable than the original Switch which *can* undock.

Wait for the Nintendo Switch Lite XL which probably will release at the end of the Switch's cycle.
Buy the original switch. I actually think the size of the lite is still too big for a handheld.
Get the revised one I got that one and sold the og one I didn’t want the lite as my primary console and I don’t like what Nintendo did with account sharing with games and data so I’m fine with my revised one and the mumba case I got is awesome and it fits with the slim carrying case I got as well
I mean, if you've never used a normal switch this is great, the TV function is few and far between as is the dock.
There's so many accessories out there that will improve this anyways
No one should buy this if it really drifts
Cooking Sauce I really hope it doesn’t
@@davidtg803 already confirmed it does
@@roxel7522 That was a fake video though
@@helpinghands7935 no video. People said its the exact same material from the og joycons. So it will drift eventually.
@@roxel7522 We don't know if the sticks are made out of the same materials. They also have different serial numbers. That could indicate that they graphic sticks are made differently. The new graphic sticks are also 0.3 mm thinner than the previous ones according to Computer Bild.
Women’s pants lol, I’m not the only one that has notice.
Its funny coming from a man that dresses like a child
I think it's almost a meme at this point. I've heard it referenced all over the internet, even by men.
This is what the PS Vita should’ve been

2:33 just take your pants to the local talor shop and ask for deeper pockets. it's a quick and cheap way to upgrade your clothing.
ask the talor if they have any other ideas on how to upgrade your clothing from zippers to extra storage options etc.
I feel a "Nintendo Switch Lite XL" coming eventually
I hope it hahahha
but isnt that just the switch lol
It's just gonna be the size of the switch. But no docking, no removable joy cons, etc.
@@Jone_V If the Switch Lite had a tiny little HDMI port, it would solve all it's problems
@@gu3z185 nintendo should make uh what's it called idk like a thing you connect it to to connect it to something else.
This is cool for folks who never had a Switch and never plan on playing on a TV. I'll be sticking with my original though, as Nintendo online service makes swapping data between devices seem cumbersome from the few videos I watched on the subject. Once that is fixed or streamlined.. I might consider it.
Dwayne W. no doubt and it's selling like crazy
great video! I love how you got straight to the point, other review channels take forever to get to the actual review. keep it up!
I think the biggest problem I have with the switch is the placement of the minus button. Whose idea was it to put it right above the joystick?
I was wanting a replacement for my 3DS and I think this is perfect. 🙂 I preordered the new Pokémon edition Lite!
Rebecca Hiebert me to, the 3ds feels a bit dated and old to me.
0:55 Does your model have a kickstand?
Or if you want to replace what the ps vita should've been, then get a switch or switch lite.
The Vita's analog sticks work
@@oneeyedlittleman not if you do play it.
@@BruceLeeroyX
I've played my day one vita hundreds of hours, no drift. My day 1 switch started drifting around 13 months after I got it. My replacement joycons just started drifting as well. I got a switch lite, keeping my fingers crossed. Wish sony would jump back into the game with a portable ps4.
My Vita drifts sooooooooo
At least that console worked properly and had decent battery life since launch, also, it was sold at a fair price
they effectively killed the 3ds now because of this.
I’m a PS4 guy and this was my first time acquiring an Nintendo console. This has been one of my best decision on my life, it’s the perfect console when you’re on a budget plus it has great exclusive games. I use the Switch Lite for bedtime and PS4 as my main tv console. I suggest you to buy it!
Switch budget??? LMFAO
Ps4 is always going to be top dog tho
Yo get Bayonetta 2 my man
MovieAfterReviews PS4 will remain top dog in the home console market but Nintendo is top dog in handhelds and competition is what makes the industry healthy
Seeing that the new Switch have a significant battery life over both the Switch Lite and the release issue i question if its worth buying the lite? Except the smaller size and cheaper price point it does no have ANY benefits compared to the original, especially the newer model, it only have limitations.
"it has a little something for everyone" dunkey quoting ign
I've just got one today. It's a great console, even though it technically isn't a switch....
Wait until they are out a while and make Nintendo fix there already drift joy cons unacceptable mate. That’s were there cutting cost
Or buy a switch v2
@@architius link it...
I want to get this purely for the new animal crossing, but I'll most likely end up getting a few other games too. A few questions for people who already own this:
Is it stable?
Does it have a steady internet connection?
Can I use a wireless controller with it?
Whats the msxium framerste for any given game?
It makes you feel like using a Nintendo switch
There’s like legit no rumble?? Wth
Nope and I'm fine with that as IMO it's a gmmick I turn it off on all PS4 games I have as I find it annoying.
gotta save battery life
there was no rumble on 3ds lol
No rumble, no tv connectivity, not much smaller than a regular switch, possible drift. Oh dear.
I can't think of any switch game that has decent rumble tbh.
Damn...I really wanted a Switch Lite but I just can't overlook the potential drift issues. I'll wait until Nintendo fixes this major flaw in the second iteration of Switch Lites. I just hope they can get this all sorted out before animal crossing comes out
Kyu drifting on the lite hasn’t been confirmed yet
Velocerbate but the serial number and design of the stick has changed, I guess im just going off of hope, maybe I am a blind fatcrack
I have the exact same thoughts as I realllllly wanna play animal crossing again. Haven't played since I had a Nintendo Wii (my last Nintendo console)
what’s drift issue? lol
Does the Lite come with Bluetooth / internet browser? Or are Nintendo still stuck in 2003?
Ive been hearing rumors of a switch “pro” coming up? Is it true? Im debating if i should wait or just get a lite?
rawstarfan no one really knows for sure if a switch pro is going to come out but if it does it would be about 1-3 years from now because we would have a leak by now or something like that I would get the lite tbh for now but then again it’s just my opinion
No lol don’t let the talking fool yah..if we do get a pro it’s gonna be 3-4 years but bye then Nintendo will be going 4k..
@rawstarfan Me to I've been wondering if I should wait
When you have it charging, it doesn't turn off while charging?? I got confused of that 😬
Heather Games ohh
@@nickabbott319 ya so it's supposed to stay on sleep mode while charging ?
Heather Games Oh I think it should, that should be the right mode for it.Sorry I don’t have a switch yet,but it should be like a sleep mode, kinda like when your phone charges
@@nickabbott319 ohh ok thank you
Heather Games no problem
in simple words, just buy it if you don't like dock mode or don't have a tv/time to use it
I want it because of the smaller form factor, sturdier build, better screen,m and i think this version is better in handheld vs the og.

I'm getting the lite since I was getting it purely for it's handheld feature since I already have a Playstation 4, it's mostly for when I want something to play on the go
The positioning of the right stick looks horribly uncomfortable.
It's not that bad. I have one
Whats the music in the background playing at the 2:00 mark?

The PS vita was years ahead of its time😮
Pokegaming HQ yes!
It definitely was. I had the regular and the lite until they stopped supporting them. Amazing little system... you could even play ps4 on it with remote play. Switch is now what vita did not become...
This is probably a dumb question but the does all the games from the normal switch work on it
Dude basically gave you the whole review in the first 35 seconds
3:40 who plays 2d mario with the analog?
rtswift me😅
hey nintendo, why am i only finding out about this now. do better marketing.
The stick drifting problem is holding me back from buying the lite version, im gonna go with the normal switch in a few months
Best portable console ever released.
Can you play games on the lite without internet? How do you get games please? This is totally new to me. My son is turning 10 and would like one for his birthday.
Using mine for a few months now, except for the build quality, it's amazing!
But is it gonna be a problem with the small storage? Is it better to but physical or digital games (like animal crossing and mariokart deluxe 8)?
The internal memory of the Switch can handle a few big games but it's only ideal for screenshots, saves and a few games. Get an SD card if you're going full digital.
What I was told that the lite has the Bluetooth in the new tagra 1X Mariko chip Nintendo just has to update the software to activate it
I’d like to see a few things in a Switch Plus or or Pro whatever they wanna call it:
1080p OLED
slightly more powerful and efficient processor to smooth out performance and support 1080p in handheld mode
Better battery life
3D Display like the 3DS so a technical resolution of 1080x3840
A plus version of the Lite would be perfect if it supported a separately sold dock and had improved battery life
1:22 Fun fact: the reviewer in this video also reviewed Celeste and he’s playing it lol
Aye so can we still put regular games in the lite or do all the games have to be digitally purchased?
It just makes so much sense from a economical point of view.
My jaw dropped when I saw this drift was still an issue. No way to pass though to a TV for local MP. No way to properly account for games with motion control. Hard nope on this one.
Yeah I sold my 3DS a year ago and now I kinda miss playing Nintendo games and this seems fine for me! Especially that you can play the Witcher and Doom on a handheld console device sounds great for me!
I would have loved a clam-shell design than a landscape one...I really liked the ds line...
Super helpful! Thanks! I’ll be grabbing one of these ASAP!
I pray for you.
I want to buy one but I'm wondering should I wait till the next special edition to see if the joysticks have been changed.
You should wait mine dies really fast I only played 30 minutes and the battery went down for 100% to 58%. Also my d pad just stopped working so I’m going to have to take mine back.
AvengedSeven09 the switch in general doesn’t have tremendous battery life, especially if you’re playing games that are very graphically demanding... but it gets the job done

I reckon that the next thing Nintendo will do is release a "home console only" version of the Switch. One which can't be undocked and is made to exclusively play Switch games on TV mode- and of course it's much more affordable than the original Switch which *can* undock.
Déjà vu! This joystick has just drifted before!

jvis89 yeah if you’re casual and don’t feel need to play on your tv.
@@chocolatewheelchair What does "casual" have to do with anything?
Nate River casual means you don’t care about or even know certain features in a given discipline..like what a level of black is in a screen or like care you can’t detach the joy cons. so like if anyone says “casual” it means surface level and not too involved
