Took a test drive of this car, the engine is simply a jewel. Such smoothness, refinement and POWER.! Kudos to Mahindra for this initiative. Word of caution though - this car is not for newbies, only for experienced drivers. The power and acceleration can be dangerous for inexperienced drivers.

Performance seems to be very good, 130hp and 230nm in a car that size is really very good (has more power than some cars a segment above it lol) Has all the features you need, good touchscreen with Android auto and Carplay, comfy ride and a strong AC system (unlike it's German rivals) Mahindra aftersales is also improving and the cherry on top is the 5 star safety rating. Shame Mahindra are not pushing it as aggressively as they did with the Thar, XUV 700 and Scorpio, with some good marketing they can double the sales of this car I feel.

The only issue I see with the interior is the slim buttons for the AC system. And even the gauge cluster, I see no difference between a fully digital cluster and a manual cluster, I own a 2019 Octavia 1.8 L&K with a virtual cockpit and a 2022 Thar with a regular cluster and feel no difference between the 2.
At 15L+, it'd be stupid to buy this,when you can get a Kushaq. Bigger car,bigger boot,far better looks and interiors,and pretty good performance,even with the 1.0L.

Saw xuv 300 not impressed with the interior looks and bootspace, walked away.... Did a test drive and instantly fixed this is gonna be the one that comes home. Its really fun to drive car, gives you punchy feel when you play with it. Safety, heavily build got it at 15.2L. ❤❤❤I'm Just loving it....❤❤❤

So I just connect to Android Auto USB, now my phone also gets charged. So dual purpose achieved. Coming to interiors, before buying the car, I did feel it's bit outdated. But it grows on you. Now I don't even feel it's outdated. It's not your bling bling interiors like the Korean twins. But it does the job.

Na engines r more reliable more affordable and efficient than turbo petrol engine. Like maruti Suzuki and hyundai offering . If mahendra did it no one will go for other brands 😮
