***SPOILERS**** -WARNING, going forward, I will be discussing climatic arcs in both Jujutsu Kaisen and Attack on Titan. If you have not watched, then please cease reading here. There r a couple different messages for JJK just like most great anime have a few "messages" I think the term you are actually looking for is "moral of the story" because there is usually only one of those. But messages can be expressed through arcs, and thus, there can be as many messages as there are arcs. If not more. And I think it is LARGELY up to interpretation. So far, reading jjk, I have gotten that your efforts in this world WILL pay off in the end. You will not be alone when u die. You will suffer, but the bonds that we have are what keep us moving forward. Yuji views himself as a cog in a machine. One whose ultimate destiny is to take down the king of curses. It makes sense that he would be the opposite of everything sukuna is. In the end, the fact that yuta will show sukuna what love means is just the icing on the cake. Yuji started with no one. Through his suffering, he will come out a hero on the other side and have lots of people around him when he dies. I do think it is likely that he will, in fact, die. After the merger happens, I believe yuji will be the only one able to stop it because of his genetics. But that is speculation. Furthermore, that's not even my favorite anime. Attack on Titan is. Where the messages I got from that were insanely different. And it depends on what side you have chosen to look at it from. What angle are you viewing this story from? Through who's eyes?? Are u riding with eren til the end, or do u agree with zeke and his idealisms. Do u believe there is a justification for genocide? If not, u probably stand with the scouts. Likewise, with jujutsu kaisen, if you are a sukuna fan, you will justify his actions by making excuses like "we still don't have the full story of the heian Era, there's so much we don't know about sukuna" 😂 It all boils down to perception, perspective, and interpretation.
The author, in an interview, when asked who the target audience for BSD was, said Bungou Stray Dogs is not intended for people who are good at living. Translated, the exact answer: "This story is not for people who are good at living. In this world, there exist people who are so good at living that they do not need s "story" at all. They are the ones who think that stories are, after all, just a pastime for your hobbies, that they are not necessary for life, and therefore it is a waste to spend money on such things. I did not assume such people to be my readers from the beginning. I cut them off. On the other hand, there are certainly people who need stories like oxygen still. I always hope that Bungou Stray Dogs will become the oxygen for such people. They are the "lost ones" that Dazai talked about." I have the magazine the interview was from saved alongside this, but I don't know how to type Japanese characters...

Berserk's message is a warning against the dangers of *not* kissing your flamboyantly masculine homies before it's too late.
This. Everything would have been (maybe) fine if Guts just stayed and kissed his homie.

JoJo's core message is about Courage, which definitely includes kissing your homies and being flamboyant, but isn't limited to just that.

Giorno and mista 💀
Actually, the biggest message is that determinism, while existing, should not encourage you to embrace nihilism. Lack of agency doesn't justify the lack of action.
@@shrekkek9396 You're not wrong, but these themes are two sides of the same coin. Nihilism and Courage are two opposing ways to resolve our fears, represented by Dio and Jonathan respectively. You can't have one without the other.

***SPOILERS****
-WARNING, going forward, I will be discussing climatic arcs in both Jujutsu Kaisen and Attack on Titan.
Likewise, with jujutsu kaisen, if you are a sukuna fan, you will justify his actions by making excuses like "we still don't have the full story of the heian Era, there's so much we don't know about sukuna" 😂
It all boils down to perception, perspective, and interpretation.
Bungo Stray Dogs:
There are 2 sides:
Be gay, do crime or
be gay, solve crime.
LMAO LOVE THIS
just. yes.
The author, in an interview, when asked who the target audience for BSD was, said Bungou Stray Dogs is not intended for people who are good at living. Translated, the exact answer:
"This story is not for people who are good at living. They are the "lost ones" that Dazai talked about."
I have the magazine the interview was from saved alongside this, but I don't know how to type Japanese characters...
