Saturn is the teacher so therefore benevolent not malevolent. The only other astrology that I am aware of to put across this idea of Saturn is David Cochrane in his David Cochrane's astrology ' evidence based vibrational astrology ' .

I don't have Saturn in the 5th, but my 25 year old son has Sun conjunct Saturn in the 5th, and just from observing him, I know exactly what you mean when you say they take their fun seriously😂 ( I can also relate to some degree from having sun conjunct Pluto in my 5th). Scott Hahn about how he is with kids too, he takes parenting very seriously, he's an amazing father to my granddaughter, and generally speaking he has always been good with children.

Saturn & Jupiter along with mars and moon in the 9th and how it showed up in my life was mom(moon) has very old religious beliefs as well as very restrictive fear based views and beliefs which she used to self delude herself and manipulate her children (9 of us by the way) she also was abusive and restrictive and definitely thought of us as extensions of herself ao failed to help us gain a sense of self confidence or identity independently from her own needs so alot of codependency going on. I naturally felt as a child her religion and ways wasn't for me and bucked alot we clashed quite a bit as i was growing up and especially i felt god was bigger than what they preached and at 4 years old escaped church to play outside where i believed god was😁 especially in the trees(still love nature and the trees) this shows Jupiter work and I've always and still do seek truth and value truth. And believe mars gives me that fighting spirit to think for yourself to fight to be and live your truth which was alway undermined by my covert narcissist mother. This has been my life theme..forging forward to believe in my self with truth and integrity and this is how i expand this is how we all expand by being truthful with yourself so therefore you can be truthful with others.
I'm confused when reading the natal chart reading. Because some of the print out appears to be explaining what it means - but not to me specific. And then they're explaining the aspects and trines, oppositions, squares, etc - and it's hard to understand what it all means.

If you are using Astrocom switch to Solar return instead of Natal and see what your year is. You put in recent birthday.
