I love how much Pokio was restricted in Bowser’s Kingdom, but the devs didn’t consider restricting other kingdoms since it’s not possible to have a pokio in them
The reason pokyo can cling in any material is because it’s allways the same material with different textures So bowlers kingdom is the only one with metal to stop pokyo from being to good

Do something like this but it’s a nuzlocke. You get captures along the way, but if they die you can’t use them anymore. Maybe only stick to a team of six and you need to go back to the odyssey to change the party😅

Actually, there IS a part in the game where you do shoot coins out of the ground with a tank, one of the sub areas in metro kingdom. But yeah, I was surprised too, I only figured that out when moon hunting.

i think the reason pokios work that way is that its not a canpoke tag they need, its the absence of a cantpoke tag. and pokios arent designed for places other than bowsers

Yeah, you can even get it to trigger by doing something weird with one of the flinging poles, because it can see that you're a) there, and b) in a capture (the pole).

My initial thought when he explained the premise for the video was "what if you don't spawn close enough to one of those things to capture one? What if an area doesn't have any of those things to capture?" It took longer than I'd like to admit to realize that it was modded so that he could make those just appear, and it wasn't a challenge of only using captures from the captures naturally available.
i know what happened in metro. There is no captures, and the taxi loading zone is made so that it doesnt make mario into the sub area. Since there is no captures that can go there, it isnt programmed to ignore them, and teleports mario.
also when you "randomly" got teleported in metro it's because there's a loading zone that's supposed to activate with the capturable taxi, but it activates with any capture.
