This proves, that inspite of not makinh hype about fitness, at that time players were very fit and was able to play consistently. There is a lot of hype about current INDIAN team regarding fitness. No doubt there are some very very fit players like VIRAT KOHLI, RABINDRA JADEDA. But apart from these few players every match the team gets rotate due to fitness issue. The team management should understand that fitness is an important factor of the game. But the primary factor is cricketing skills. First, the best batsman and bowlers should be selected and then the fitness factor should come into play.
