    Thank you for this video! I've been chasing my rattle for months! I thought it was the active exhaust, which it wasn't. I found your video and figured I'd give it a try, and it worked! I wont be losing anymore sleep! Lol

    Man you had me second guessing my strength when I removed mine. Lol
    For anyone with a 2016 like mine, maybe even 17-18 *there's 2 welds holding the clamp on the exhaust.* Honestly a bit of a PITA given the room you have to work with.
    What a great idea, thanks Dodge.

    Do these fix that kind of bloated feel and sound after the catless mids? Kinda feels like an exhaust leak where the flanges meet.

    • @KelleysGarageOfficial
      @KelleysGarageOfficial  Год назад

      Can't say I know about the "bloated feel". It will fix an exhaust leak if you have one. Definitely made the exhaust more solid, I want to say the car sounded a bit louder as well. With no leaks you get more pitch💪

      No vibrations, from what I recall. Just sounded like air was escaping the exhaust. The throttle felt a bit more crisp after the band clamp install as well.

    There is nothing loose there is nothing in that section of the pipe unless your pipes are loose which means the guy who did it didn't do a good job but there's nothing in that pipe and Dad suction

    • @allenpapir-jo6yw

      I know exactly what's rattling the baffles are rattling if you go under the car with a rubber mallet and hit the pipes you'll hear the the baffles are rattling I remove my mufflers so the sound is constant loud if you want to adjust the baffles put the car in sport mode and it'll stay open permanently and they also sell a baffle bypass it's a plug and go for underneath the car that will cut the noise out for sure

    Mine has been rattling for a while now after my mid muffler delete. So the clamps really work ??? 18 Scatpack charger

    • @KelleysGarageOfficial
      @KelleysGarageOfficial  2 года назад

      They worked for me; I've had people reach out after watching the video to tell me it worked for them as well. However, if what you're hearing is the active exhaust valves, the clamps will not fix that issue.

    • @juancarlos7840

      @Kelley's Garage couple months after my mid muffler delete, everytime I have a cold start I hear rattling noise as well, it goes away like around 5-10 seconds after, I only hear it when I cold start it tho so it doesn't bother me since it doesnt make any noise while i drive but still concerned since it isn't normal, so would it be the active exhaust that is making that noise?? (2021 charger RT)

    • @KelleysGarageOfficial
      @KelleysGarageOfficial  2 года назад +1

      If it's a rattling noise it's most likely something other than the active exhaust. Typically speaking, the active exhaust valve cause a squeaking noise. Not rattle. From what I've heard anyway.

    Don't be misled. The welds on the OEM clamps are VERY difficult to remove. Recommend doing this job with the proper tools to remove the original clamps with the vehicle on a lift.

      I don't see how this video is misleading.. It wasn't too difficult for me to remove the factory clamps. Everyone has different experiences though👍
