The "Dead Terrorcons" makes so much sense! In the show "Transformers: Prime," Terrorcons are basically Zombie-Cybertronians resurrected with Dark Energon, AKA, the Blood of Unicron! I'm pretty sure Chris just predicted the future of this reboot Trilogy

Seeing Prime, Primal, Bumblebee and Cheetor sharing the screen in live action is so f’n surreal for me man, especially that shot of Bumblebee and Cheetor running side by side. Holy shit. Can’t wait to see how Rhinox translates over. He was so lowkey badass in the original series.

Rhinox is going to be voiced by the same guy who voiced Blitzwing in Bumblebee, David Sobolov. He is also going to voice Battletrap, the orange pickup crane truck.

2 things I hope for this movie:
1. Bumblebee has his voice/doesn't die.
2. Even though Wheeljack has a different vehicle mode, he better at least have the same head, otherwise it's not Wheeljack.

I would bet any amount of money they don't kill Bumblebee, at the very least if they do he won't be dead for long. He's the longest tenured live action Autobot who hasn't been killed once so I just think there's no way they go that route. They need the kids to buy them toys especially when the next Transformers movie comes out
@Carl Gunderson just a hunch cuz I have not read about it or anything. But maybe the transformer he stabs in the trailer is mirage and not bumble bee. Maybe he is using his abilities to look like bumble. Again totally just going out on a limb

really hoping this movie does well. it seems like the transformers franchise is finally being handled by people who care about it, and truly want to do good by it and it’s fans. bumblebee showed us they could make it fun and generally accessible while also paying homeage and staying respectful to the source material.
I’m excited to see how the autobots and maximals will interact with each other.
For example, Bumblebee and Cheetor rolling and running together, because their characters share a lot of similarities.

When I saw him with bumblebee I got emotional man
I like how they transform, they look like they'd transform like toys do. Like panels folding and moving rather than breaking into a million tiny bits and reforming
Yeah, people are talking about the cgi quality being crappy, but this looks 1000 times better to me than the Bayformers jumble of metal pieces with a voice

although i liked how complicated the bayformers looked, these new simpler ones are charming since theyre a lot closer to g1, but also a bit more complicated. they kinda remind me of transformers prime actually.

Bee's is so nice to look at. And Mirage has that "Jazz" flare in his transformation
I like how Mirage just Rotates in the trailer while in a car chase
One thing I noticed is Optimus Prime’s unmasked face looks a lot like how he did in the first 3 Bay films
They said according to the synopsis that the predacons are supposed to be in this movie as well but I’m thinking that There roles along with a Deceptacon‘s are going to be very small more more like cameo level . I honestly think that the predacons are most likely going to be either in a flashback at the beginning of the movie or most likely in the after credit scene that will set up the next two movies because they did say that it’s there it’s going to be a trilogy for this version of transformers if this movie does well so fingers crossed.

Hopefully we see Starscream in the future a good iteration of him. Looks good though hopefully we do see the Decpticons as well and eventually see Unicron turn Megatron into Galvatron
The thing is, Mirage was a bit of comic relief, but he will be a great fighter for the autobots with his stealth abilities and with him fighting alongside rattrap (great nephew to arcee) who is like him will be great. I can see scourge and the terricons having an army of mindless sweeps and who knows about that giant cybertronian.

I mean, a F1 car driving on a civilian road would make a lot of attention.
It might have been expensive to get an F1 to that era of autobots but I guess people will get confused since we did see Jazz die from being ripped apart by Megatron. But I mean if this is a reboot why didn't they just made Mirage as another car instead and add Jazz as the Porsche

I love these videos bruh, you always covered what I missed in the trailer, I personally would've preferred the maximals face off against the predacons, sticking solely to the Beast Wars storyline
scourge is my favorite from the trailer it's a breath of fresh air to see a new villain in the transformers movies I felt what they did in the bumblebee movie was a great step in the right direction and I'm super excited to see one of my favorite characters adopted onto the big screen. also big fan
But i mean, at some point we need megatron back, but also i hope they make him a real menace, but also a leader who care about his people (like in the latest version, expecially the armada and war for cybertron ones)
I am SO hyped for this! I think it'll definitely be a hit, and hopefully a good stepping stone to brighter future for the live-action TF universe!
So dope that Scourge, Primal and Prime are all going to be seen on the big screen in live action

I really liked how you explained a bit about what each group is, like how you said Terracons are the bad guys but also sort of like zombies. I liked how you even pointed out their logo. All those little details like that help give us a history for those of us not as familiar with these characters.
I’d love to hear your breakdown on each group, Maximals, Predacons, Terracons, etc. Should I have included autobots & decepticons in that list of groups, or are essentially all transformers one of those 2 groups?
Who or what is Unicron, Cybertron?
Is this following description correct?…
Maximals are animals/ robot transformers.
Predacons- reptile/ robot transformers.
Terracons- transformers who’ve been brought back.
Are there more groups?

The charter design looks excellent, the best live action transformer movie so far is Bumblebee, the first 1 min of that movie was amazing and how it should be.
No no no it should have Human involvement. We should be made to watch sam witwikee and his college antics. Transformers are irrelevant. Micheal bay have Sam witwikee half the film screen time in nearly all the movies. Whereas transformers only got any screen time. It was blood boiling for me. I hope and pray this movie does not go down that road. Human involvement should be kept at a minimal.

I’ve never watched a transformers movie before, but I definitely am going to the theater for this one!
1-3 are worth watching, 4 and 5 are just fillers but still good!
Watch 1 and 3 as well as Bumblebee, the rest are terrible
Believe me just watch the first movie as a jumping on point then bumblebee the rest are car and beer commercials with sexplotation and potty jokes filled with everything blowing up.
A part of me was kinda hoping they’d get Garry Chalk to reprise his role as Optimus Primal to complement Peter Cullen’s Optimus Prime (and for plain selfish nostalgia on my part since Chalk’s portrayal was my Optimus growing up with Beast Wars and Armada and all their spin-offs) but Ron Perlman ain’t bad neither!
I grew up watching the Unicron Trilogy and Gary does such a great job. It would have been nice to see the both of them together as their characters on the big screen.

Is this a sequel to bumblebee? If it is than it's not a prequel to the micheal bay transformers movies.
The insta page specifically states that predacons are coming. And the packaging for the Optimus prime toy showcases the icons for the predacons. It shows primal, terrorsaur, airrazor, black arachnid, rat trap, megatron, Rhinox, tarantulas, cheetor, and dinobot. They are probably just hiding them until the official trailer to get people hyped.
That’s what I’m thinking too I do remember the Insta post saying that, and they are definitely hiding stuff from that big war at the end
It sure did hype me up we all have waited for this and I know that it will be worth the wait
them integrating the simplicity of the bumblebee designs a lot into this movie makes me really happy
I really hope after Terrorcons we get Beast Wars Megatron voiced by David Kaye and the rest of his crew, i hope they don't get ignored in this universe

I’m so glad they made a “fresh start” for this series. I’ve always loved transformers
Definitely hyped for this movie, but I was expecting an enhanced vibe, much the same as we've seen from each of the previous movies. I believe this trailer is presenting a twist which will definitely attract a large number of fans back to see how this connects with the ongoing series. Honestly though, the thing I'm most excited for is how this movie will truly connect with the The Last Knight. Unfortunately, it looks like we will not get that in this movie, but will have to wait for the series to catch back up with the present timeline followed by all the previous movies excluding Bumblebee.

For anyone wondering why the Maximals and Predicons use animal forms(and are smaller). Cybertron was going through an energy crisis. In order to adapt to that specific issue, they created smaller bodies moving forward in order to consume less energy. The beast form technology was used to help them scout and blend in on worlds that were not technologically advanced.

I want to clarify that Bumblebee and Rise of the Beasts take place in a different continuity than 5 main ones it can be shown through continuity stuff like the autobots coming to earth in the first movie and Bumblebee so yeah, I may be wrong but that's how I've made sense of it

I'm a noob when comes to transformers... I grow up with the bay and animated when I was really little... I've trying to get my feet wet with some of the older shows but I can't watch beasts wars to due the cgi giving me a massive headache but I'm exited to see this movie so far. But growing up I was more a old movie buff and like gi joe more and my favorite memory is going to my grandparents place to watch her massive collection of classic Dr who.

Great review! Been watching Transformers since I was a kid (44 now) and this is a great way to reboot Transformers. I've always wanted to see the Maximals and that timeline on the big screen. Looks like this new series could be really interesting
They're not rebooting it, they're just building up to the events of the original film series by Michael Bay.

Yes I'm very excited about another transformer movie coming to theaters and I love the idea Optimus Prime time traveling I feel like it makes the most since that would be an interesting plot that go along with all the movies.
When Primal said what is coming, and at the end the Autobot sign changed to the Beast Syombol, and then another symbol, and I want to know, was that the Insectacon symbol? Like are the insectacons the things that are coming ?

I like the look of primal.. but I wish they would of used the G1 look of Optimus from bumblebee. It was more authentic just my opinion. But I'm still going to see it. And can bumblebee finally talk? Like he did in the solo movie at the beginning.

(Tigertron is my favourite because he is a white tiger) and get Airazor to fit the couple together (at least I think Tigertron and Airazor are a couple, I think they are I can’t remember)

During the great battle scene, my initial reaction to that metal contraption in the back ground is that it looks like the Nemesis in it's initial phase of being built as in the original G1 Transformers, MTMTE. Then it also makes sense it looks like the energon machine the original Primes were using in Revenge of the Fallen. It could also very well be Unicron as well. Speaking of Unicron, it wouldn't surprise me if this is all leading to the original TF7. With the Last Knight's ending, this new set of movies could very well lead to that moment where that movie will bring it all together in some crazy time traveling (maybe) action. We very well could at some point still get that movie. But in a grand reboot sort of way.
I’m pretty sure this is a completely new timeline of Transformers movies. Because we saw (I think) the rest of the Autobots fall to Earth at the end of Bumblebee. So it wouldn’t really make sense for them to fall to Earth again in Michael Bay’s Transformers.
I hope this is a new rebooted timeline just following Bumblebee because the Michael Bay Transformers became a huge mess with no continuity (or even sense or care) whatsoever.

If they bring back Cliffjumper as a terrocon, similar to how they did in Transformers prime I will definitely cry. This trailer was awesome definitely looking forward to watching this movie.
2:15 The Official trailer description from Paramount says "‘introduce the Maximals, Predacons, and Terrorcons to the existing battle on earth between Autobots and Decepticons". They just didn't show the Predacon emblem at the end for some reason.

Bumblebee has two vehicle modes in the trailer so I’m thinking that after that fight protecting Optimus he is benched for a bit because of his injuries and gets an upgrade later

Ahhh beast wars was my favorite I watched the whole thing three times. I would love the predacons n3xt one and I remember them going very cyborg dinosaurs then even Megatron went dragon back in the day. Aww man. Super nostalgic I hope it's great looking forward to it

As someone who grew up with beast wars I can't express how much of a let down them not having the predacons in the movie is. I've been looking forward to this movie ever since it was announced and now it just feels like my childhood was ripped away.... huge miss!

Im 18 so I never watched Beast Wars when it came out. But when I was about 8 or 9 it was on Netflix and I watched the whole series about 3 times. I got chills watching this trailer. Its so cool to see the Maximals in live action.
It’s honestly so sad they didn’t go with the Predacons. Imagine David Kay’s Megatron looking badass and saying “Yesss” in live action.
Also, we could’ve gotten Predaking. That’s a whole lotta yes in and of itself.
I’m hoping it’s being saved for a sequel and also added in a few more maximals

Given David Kaye is still active in the industry and has done voice over for Eternals recently, I think there's a slight good chance he might make it in for Predacon Megatron hopefully!
